I posted this on my facebook page, but I know a lot of you here aren't there. :)


Welp. January 1 will mark one solid year since Remember When hit the shelves, and I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone here for helping to make the past 365 days such a success.

This year has been incredible, and it's all due to YOU. (Yeah, you. haha) <3

In December of last year, I hadn't even hit "publish" yet. My mural-painting business had gone extinct and I'd just been let go from my job as a bartender at the local dive, scared shitless about how I was going to pull a proper Christmas together for my kids.

It was a sucky, helpless, shrinking feeling.

So, what did I have to lose? I threw my words out into the world, naively hoping someone would find them.

Yet find them you did.

I still remember watching that first sale go through. Still remember seeing that first review come in. Still know the name of the first person who ever wrote me an email, letting me know she'd be a "fan for life". LOL

And I STILL get giddy with every new review, every new email. Still get emotional from every beautiful message any reader has taken the time to write, simply to let me know how my books have touched them in some way.

That is priceless to me. And I guess I just wanted to let you know how much YOUR words have touched MY life.

And for that, I just wanted to say... thank you.

On that note...*raises glass*
I wish you all a Happy New Year, filled with love and laughter. I hope you'll join me as we continue this adventure for many new years to come.
