I really enjoyed reading Cynthia Nelson's stories. It reminds me of my family and you can read the love from her pages. I find her recipes are not exclusively Guyanese and some of the recipes are outright wrong in the measurements. Her Strove Tuesday Pancakes are wrong. I followed it to the tea and when I saw the thick batter I knew this wasn't how you make it. I had to check it against other sites and family members. And to be honest, since that moment I've done that with all her recipes doubled checked. I don’t think they have been checked and rechecked.
