Interesting biography of the sad and often chaotic life of Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley the author of Frankenstein and lover then life of the poet Shelley. She was a very talented writer, who has seemed overshadowed in history by the works of Shelley. By the time she was 24 she had lost to death three children and her husband Shelley. She spent the rest of her life trying to give her surviving son a secure home and deal with the aftermath of the tragedy that seemed to plague her life. A well written and plotted biography.
