" The Illustrated Lyrics" is a collection of artwork collages that blend Gligorov's art with the fully written lyrics of various Sting songs. With perhaps 5 or so exceptions, this book includes every song from the first three studio albums from Sting's solo career, "The Dream of the Blue Turtles", "...Nothing Like the Sun" and "The Soul Cages". Twenty five songs are featured here, and they are expanded with fine visuals into something even more unique. With pen & ink, watercolors, oils, Photographs and early computer images, {1991, the Stone-Age for that medium!} these words by Sting, are transformed and they increase in scope and color.

Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, CBE, universally known by his stage name Sting, is a Grammy Award-winning English musician from Wallsend in Newcastle upon Tyne. Prior to starting his solo career, he was the principal songwriter, lead singer and bass player of the rock band The Police. As a solo musician and member of The Police, Sting has sold over 105 million records, and received over sixteen Grammy Awards for his work.
