This was my first time reading anything about zombies. I was pleased with it. The first few stories had zombies they were living "side by side" with humans. This was a new possibility to me. The last story in this collection was more of the traditional "zombie outbreak" sort of story. I enjoyed both of the types given here.

I look forward to reading more of Fischer's works. I have his novel "Zombies Don't Cry" sitting on my desk now and I think I might pick it up soon. I'd like to see more of this world with zombies that Fischer has created.

Another great free zombie read by author Rusty Fischer, who again fuses teenage sensibilities with zombie culture. I thought the books might be set in the same zombie universe, but they possibly might not be. In most of the stories, the zombies are an almost-accepted but marginalized part of society - they have jobs, petition to go to school, use the laundromat, flirt with cute high school girls. The last story, however, "Zombies Don't Carve", seemed much more of a traditional zombie story, even if it did start out as a lovely Christmas tale of the cute high school girl bringing her zombie boyfriend home to meet the fam.

There were some nice stories in here. Some where a bit confusing though and made me go, wait what just happened.

I really liked the last story the most. Instead of zombies doing not so zombie-like, we had real zombies and even some gruesome parts. :)
