Callie Davis stumbles upon two of her three male roommates in a surprising, molten-hot midnight tryst and discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. Desire to play with them grips her, and she can’t stop fantasizing about having multiple men, particularly her three long-time best friends.
Callie is thrilled when a guys’ night out gives her the perfect opportunity to recreate her fantasy, with the help of a threesome porn video and a bag of sex toys. That is, until Lucas, Jack and Noah return early and catch her in the act. More than anything, the guys want to make her fantasy come true. But Callie has a secret, and she can’t help wondering if being with all three men will risk the future she’s always wanted with one of them.
As three strong sets of hands caress and undress her, Callie surrenders to desire, because sometimes you just gotta say...yes.

First off I need to say, three’s company, and four…is overwhelming. My eyes are tired from trying to keep up. Waaay too much going on for me! It’s was hard keep track of all the body parts, arms, legs, lips, tongues, and you know, all the rest of the stuff. My mind was overwhelmed trying to figure out if one woman could take that much pleasure, and give it as well. She did, they did, it was good for her and I’m tired! At one point I thought Kal (my Kindle) and I would self-combust. I’ll stick to a good old fashioned threesome!
Aside from that you get a well developed erotic short that has a likeable h, and 3 very scrumptious H’s. They treat her with love and respect and give her night to remember. There was humor, a very amusing moment when Callie is “caught” with her toys. A sweet, tender scene follows, where her guys attempt to lessen her humiliation by expressing their feeling for her. *Sigh*. This author really knows how to write a heartwarming scene. So, if your heart and mind can handle 3 guys and a girl, then this the book for you!
This is the third book I've read from Laura Kaye, all different, contemporary, paranormal, erotic, and her writing shines in each one. I’m looking forward to her next book.
Surprisingly though, this book had a healthy dose of sweetness and emtion along with some really, really raunchy sex. I mean, come on! Three guys fulfilling one girl's every dirty and kinky fantasy? That's hot!
Whew! I think my Kindle had smoke coming out of it from this little scorcher! Seriously, I Just Gotta Say that this is turn down the AC, need a glass of ice cold water, where’s the fire? blazing hot! And it’s sweet, too. :)
I previously enjoyed Hearts in Darkness by this author, and I’ll definitely read more of her work. 5 stars!
2.5 stars. Laura Kaye is pretty much a go-to author for me when I want to read something that’s sweet and slutty. This didn’t knock my socks off or anything, but it’s definitely not bad. You could do far worse in the world of sexy short stories.
WOW!! So based off of this review by Melissa *Pervy Nerd* I thought okay I need to give this book a read. Read her review first to see if it doesn’t get your attention. Thanks Melissa! http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Yeah, thought so! So that’s just what I did. It’s only 69 pages….hmmm...wonder if that was on purpose by the author….anyway it starts out with
Callie and her three male roomates/best friends, Lucas, Jack and Noah. Callie accidentally sees Jack and Noah making out and suddenly her lonely nights of satisfying herself turn into a fantasy about her roommates.
With the house all to herself she uses this time to pull out the sex toys and indulge in her fantasy about the guys. Things are going well for her (if you know what I mean) even if this is solo. That is until the guys come home early and catch her in the act. At this moment they all admit they’ve always loved her and wanted to be with her and decide to offer to make her fantasy come true if she wants. And boy does she want!!
I absolutely died in that first chapter! I was embarrassed for her. When her three roommates barge in on her Callie is mortified.
Thinking they’d be gone for evening, and that she had the house to herself she decided to try and act out on the fantasy she had. There may have been some sex toys and maybe some porn but come on she was an adult and if this was the only way she’d ever experience it who was going to find out? Famous last thoughts!
Their her best friends and she loves them to death. Not counting the secret love she has for the brooding ex-military man Lucas (she’s in love with him) but she’s been fantasising about the three of them. All together. But she doesn’t want to ruin the bond she has with them so she’s said nothing.
But tonight that all changes. It’s extremely HOT & SEXY. It’ll make you blush that is if you’ve recovered from the opening chapter. Lol
So if your looking for a quick and filthy read then stop and grab a copy.
This is perfect when you want to read something short and hot.

Now, I usually only read romance because I love a good love story that makes me swoon. But I was in the mood to read some hard core erotica... And this was the perfect cure!
This book had everything I wanted in like 60 pages - porn, masturbation, oral, anal, double penetration, m/f, m/m, and m/m/m/f.
Holy crap! A 3:1 ratio is a BIT much, don't ya' think? Still, it wasn't a long book, so I felt compelled to check it out. I mean I sort of HAD to, no? It was my duty to as a Romance reader, if you really think about it. *wink*
Now, as for the book. It was your basic roommate love story, between three guys and a girl, no less. The girl's fantasy is to "make ménage" with them, but she's in love with one in particular. I don't think it spoils the book too much to say that everyone has a good time and I was left feeling a a bit envious. :D
Well, I "Just Gotta Say" that was HOT. I enjoyed it, although there was at one stage there, I lost track of what happening, but I caught on ;) It's a great little read with a nice HEA.
Just Gotta Say.... Hot steamy sex with three guys! A bit tricky to follow all the hands, arms, legs and mouths (among other appendages *wink wink*). A quick fill in read.
If you like the idea of finding love in all the wrong places, with three gorgeous men who would do anything for you, and unbelievably hot sex with all three of them, than this is the book for you. With men like these for roommates who needs to go anywhere else for all your loving needs?
Dana is every guy's dream girl. She is funny, honest, caring and it doesn’t hurt that she is incredibly hot. But she has a secret, and the one time that she wants to indulge her little secret while no one is at home she is caught red handed to say the least. But instead of utter humiliation she finds out that her roommates are the men that she always thought they were, and they were perfect for her in every way.
Lucas is scarred, and doesn’t have a problem pushing people away because of it. After two years in Iraq he knew he had the right to do what he wanted since no one understood just what he had been through…except Callie. Without even talking she knew, and when his attitude got in her way she knew just how to cut him down to size without ending their friendship. Lucas has been falling in love with Callie since that first day in study group for their biology midterm in college. But will his love be enough, or is he forever in the “friend zone”?
Jack is bi, and has no problem with it, he just doesn’t really talk about it with his roommates, which is a shame since Noah is too. Once Jack finds out, he has no problem taking what should have been his long ago….Noah. The ball for this story actually started to roll when Callie watched these two have passionate sex one night and she just couldn’t get the image out of her head. It was the hottest thing she had ever seen and something she desperately wanted to see more of.
Even though this story is short, it definitely packs a punch. This is definitely an author I am going to be on the lookout for when I make my next shopping trip for books. Laura Kaye made the reading fun and steamy while still being realistic. Amazing read!
After accidently coming across two of her roommates having sweaty, no holds barred sex with each other, Callie has been constantly fantasizing about sex with multiple men. She loves all three of her hunky roommates, Jack, Noah, and Lucas, but would never do anything to upset the apple cart. They were her best friends, and if she felt a little something deeper and richer for Lucas, well that was her business. Thinking the guys were gone for the night, Callie sets up a night of naughtiness for herself. Nobody else needs to ever know.
Laura Kaye, Go on with your bad self! I did not know you had it in you. Of course I am more than familiar with your wonderful mainstream works, but this........this is down right scrumptious. Nice and raunchy, with just the perfect amount of kink thrown in, and then add just a smidgen of romance to sweeten the deal and you have delightful perfection. The absolute perfect length for those long, chilly Autumn nights. You will absolutely fly through this short little tale of fantasies fulfilled, and if you're like me, you'll take a more leisurely journey the second time around. I guarantee there will be a second time around.
This is a pretty short story so I was able to read it in a afternoon. Because of how short it was it did feel like the story was almost all sex. There are parts of them interacting without sex so that helped to balance it.
I did like the characters or at least the parts I got to know them. To be honest I wish this was about 100 pages more. I think it would have been better for it. I liked what I read and the sex was great!!! But....I so wanted more. I've really come to love her as a author and know she can do more.
What what the book cost it's well worth reading. Like I said, from just the peek I really enjoyed the characters and wanted more.
Basically one long sex scene. Okay let me rephrase that...Basically one long scorching sex scene with 3 guys and a girl, that are all friends, yet all have hidden feelings for each other, it was hot and sexy, at times even loving, and my favorite was Lucas.
As I reread my review sentence, it is exactly how I felt throughout the quick short story. No sentences, just a run-on and if it could have been proofed and developed there was lots of potential. Bummed me out a little because I could see definite connections between individual characters instead of them all living together and loving evenly as some of these menage stories. I never buy into those and this one I could see was not going that way.
Very short but scorching hot. Fun, well-written, sexy romp/menage between one girl and her three best male friends. Because it's so short there's not much room for characterization or much else, but as a short erotic novella/story it works out perfectly. All four of them are very sweet too.
This copy was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. ARC, publish date: September 30th, 2011 Decadent Publishing Thanks Laura - I’ve told you before…you rock!
Callie Davis is in the midst of a good time - pleasuring herself - when her roommates walk in unexpectedly. She has been dreaming about some scorching hot ménage action ever since witnessing two of her best friends Jack and Noah have sex. Put Lucas Brenson in the mix and her imagination runs wild. Never would they have guessed Callie to be interested in them that way. Offering to make her fantasies come true is the least the three can do.
No sense in waiting any longer to tell you. This novella is one hawwwt read. My recommendation would be: Enjoy in bed or with some chocolate and a glass of wine. You’ll also need one of those handy Spanish fans. Whewww, it’s getting hot in hereeeee – so take off all your clothes. Graphic sex scenes and explicit language. Great chemistry between all the characters. This was pretty important to me, for ménage normally isn’t my thing. Kaye made sure the characters were well developed even though it’s an erotic novella. Each of them had a distinct personality. I was able to see and get to know them as individuals which in turn made the schmexiness that much more sizzling. Callie’s an immensely likeable person. She faced off against her fears and did what was necessary to satisfy her needs. A woman who took matters into her own hands; it only added to her attractiveness. Living with three guys I figured she must be a tough chick. I was right. Everybody has their insecurities, but overall she came across as somebody capable of looking after herself. I love a heroine who’s not afraid to make a decision and stick to it. No regrets! It doesn’t mean she wasn’t mortified - getting caught red-handed, with her hands in the cookie jar …you get the picture. At least I hope so, because it’s a really, really, really good one. It didn’t feel like Callie needed her roommates, or anyone for that matter, to help her get off. She wasn’t some naïve little girl. That’s not what this story was about. She would’ve done (or did for a short while) just fine all by her lonesome self. Then again, of course it was a huge thrill to have Jack, Noah and Lucas assist her. Definitely an experience she’ll never forget and I got the feeling…one that was waaaay better than she could’ve ever imagined. I already praised the character development. Kaye included a bit of background on all four of them and I’m sure she knew exactly what she was doing. By providing additional information she made me care for Callie and her roommates. Jack, Noah and Lucas weren’t just three random dudes Callie ended up doing it with. She was getting her freak on with friends of hers. Hotties, yes…but first and foremost people she trusted. Trust and sex; two very powerful elements of the plot. Put together…hmmmmm, what a turn on! I especially liked the dynamics. I’m talking preferences (in terms of how deep Callie’s feelings for one of the guys ran). A touch of romance was in the air. The bond between the guys and her appeared to be very strong. I was sure Callie wouldn’t have agreed to any naughtiness otherwise. She desired them, loved them all, but was in love with only… Yeah, riiight! As if I’m such a tattletale. I wholeheartedly believed their friendship was not at risk. Knowing that probably was the reason why Callie said yes. She was in charge. Jack, Noah and Lucas insisted on it. Their goal: make her feel comfortable, and then get down to business. The pleasurable kind. Thankfully, they didn't lose their minds in the process Safe sex! Kudos to the author for that. What I didn’t like…or rather why I was disappointed was that the “bag full of naughtiness” was left behind and never spoken of again. I expected them to make good use of it. Bummer that didn’t happen! Another aspect of the story that rubbed me the wrong way turned out to be a certain…limitation that was put into place. Remember how thrilled I was about the trust they had in each other? How lovely to get my romance fix, but why let it be the reason to limit the sexual experience? It’s a ménage-themed story after all. Sorry, I can’t say more. Other than that…holy heck! Jeeeeeesus, don’t you dare miss out on this read. 4 stars to Just Gotta Say by Laura Kaye.
Beware of Spoilers! A few of my favorite quotes for those of you who are interested: ° “…the depth of her horniness demanded she suck up her fears…” ° “Yep. She had everything she needed. Bag of naughtiness in hand…” ° “…the delicious sensation of fullness setting her blood ablaze…” ° “Dude, I don’t know how you make a woman feel better about her best friends walking in on her while she’s masturbating to porn.” ° “Holy mother of kissing men!”
When I read the premise of Just Gotta Say I knew that I wanted to read it. I mean: ménage - friends to lovers - three gorgeous and kind heroes, what's not to like? And Just Gotta Say was definitely a sweet and delicious guilty pleasure story.
Callie lives the fantasy of many girls: she lives with three of her best guy friends, she is one of the boys, cherished and loved by all three of them, protected as their girl pal. Though Callie was a nice heroine, I think you will understand that with three such heroes she wasn't the one who stood out most to me.
Just Gotta Say has three wonderful heroes who couldn't be more different from each other: first there is Jack, the easygoing, charming joker, whose playful flirting and easy smiles made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable; then there is Noah, shy, blushing and quiet Noah. I have to confess that he is the character I feel I got to know the less as he tended to blend in the background mostly and cede the action and center stage to the two more dominant males. And then there is Lucas *sigh* Lucas is the perfect tortured and intense hero: he came back from war a changed man and due to the horrors he experienced there he cannot take life as easily as Jack.
Lucas, God, Lucas. The quintessential rugged man. Tall, athletic, with a few small scars around his left eye that always cut an edge into his expression. A study in contrasts—tough and vulnerable, hard-ass and gentle.
Laura Kaye does not spend superfluous pages on introduction, she dives into the story right at the start: On one night when her room mates go out Callie thinks it's time for her to live out her secret fantasy of having sex with several partners (or just to imagine it). She installs herself in the living room but just when she is in the middle of it, the guys arrive home and are stunned to discover their sweet little Callie in the living room watching porn with the coffee table covered in sex toys. Callie is of course mortified until Jack puts her at ease and arouses her with their proposition of making her fantasy come true. "What do you want, Callie? Whatever you want, we want. Always." As they are all her friends and she trusts and loves them she says yes as she cannot refuse the possibility of finally getting close to Lucas.
Just Gotta Say has plenty of criss-crossed secrets you will discover soon after the beginning: Callie is crushing on Lucas, Lucas is in love with Callie, Noah has feelings for Jack and Jack, well he enjoys all of it :-D
Besides being a verrry hot and steamy novella what made Just Gotta Say outstanding for me was the layered and detailed characterisation despite the usual length limitations of a novella. Laura Kaye developed all three heroes, making them fully fleshed characters able to stand on their own. Their personalities were well developed, each having their own quirks and personality traits.
Just Gotta Say is not simply an erotic ménage story, it is so much more than that: here the sex is based on friendship and trust and there is a strong romantic storyline as well. I very much enjoyed how after all the hotness and sensual scenes Laura Kaye ended the story with such a sweet ending. Left me smiling and feeling good :-)
Verdict: The humour, the sizzling chemistry and the layered and exceptionally well developed characterisations make Just Gotta Say a wonderful erotica novella, one you shouldn't miss!

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--JUST GOTTA SAY is an erotic stand alone novella (short story) by author Laura Kaye that follows a few hours in the life of Callie Davis and the three men that she loves. This is a M/M/F/M storyline with graphic sexual imagery and language.
After finding two of her three male roommates having wild, passionate sex Callie fantasizes about a four way-a ménage with Lucas, Jack and Noah. Hoping to learn about the intimate positions and what to do, Callie rents a porn video and proceeds to teach herself the basics of sex with multiple partners at one time. What Callie never expected was to be caught in the act and for her roommates to offer up a fantasy night of passion. All three men are just as aroused as Callie but one wants something more than a one-night stand….he wants forever.
JUST GOTTA SAY is a passionate and sexual storyline of erotica that focuses on four people who love one another and take advantage of their desires and needs. It is a story that is in the moment; there is very little background information, no detailed character analysis or childhood history revealed. It is what it is….a story of sex, passion and falling in love with your best friend.
Just Gotta Say by Laura Kaye is fifty-five pages of delicious sensuality and characters that you can’t help but love!
Callie lives with three roommates that are her best friends and just happen to each be hunky pieces of man-meat. One has secretly held her heart for years but it’s not until she discovers her other two friends in a tangle of sheets that she starts to fantasize being with all three. Lucas, Jack and Noah are each a little bit in love with Callie, but none more than Lucas. So when they stumble upon her acting out a sexual fantasy with a room full of toys and porn they jump at the chance to bring that fantasy to life. But by giving in to her darkest desires will Callie lose any chance she has at being with Lucas or can he handle sharing the woman he loves with two of his friends?
I've just gotta say…wow *fans self madly* ...wow. If you are looking for a scorching, panty wetting, fantasy inspiring read then Just Gotta Say is the one for you! Short, sexy and sweet; I couldn’t put this fun and naughty novella down for a second. What I loved most and what makes Laura Kaye such a superb writer is that despite the short length and the intense smexy-time action, Just Gotta Say had true emotion to it and a relationship that I felt in my heart. I loved the characters, I loved the story line - I loved everything about this book!
Expect a lil’ M/M, some M/F/M action and a bit of M/F to round it out. *A recommended Ménage read!
Just Gotta Say is a nice way to spend an hour. I loved how Callie tried to have her own version of a "three way" with sex toys and a porno. For some reason, it made me giggle but you have to hand it to her; the girl is creative. When Callie is caught in the act by her three sexy roommates, she's mortified. The guys are turned on (of course). So they offer her a chance of a lifetime, something she's wanted - to be with all 3 of her guy friends at once.
Just Gotta Say is very sexy (of course) but I was more interested in the Jack and Noah's relationship and not what was going on with Callie and Lucas. I was disappointed that we weren't privy to Jack and Noah's sexy time - the incident that spurred Callie's desire for a threesome. I thought that all the guys were great and Lucas was especially sweet. There were no surprises. I could tell where the plot was headed. The only thing that bothered me was Callie's age. I didn't realize how young she was until during the story, Lucas mentions that he's 6 years older than her, which would make her 21. For some reason, I thought she was older because it felt like all the characters were in their mid to late 20s.
I enjoyed Just Gotta Say. It was a quick and easy read. I really want more of Jack and Noah's story. I found their relationship more compelling than Callie and Lucas'. I hope there's a novella for them in the future.
Bloody hell...I feel like I had a fire breathing Dragon behind me after reading this hot erotic novella! This book brings new meaning to the word sexual fantasy!!
Laura has written everything you can think of in this story. There is humor, some angst and TONS of SEX!!! Talk about your menage a quad...Callie Davis comes home one evening and spys two of her hunky roomates going at it, and her fantasy's and libido are cranked into high gear. One thing leads to another, and she bites the bullet and goes shopping for some toys to use. Then on a quiet evening alone, she decides to pull out her bag of fun, complete with a DVD for visual aid, and gets caught by her roomates when they come home much earlier than she thought they would. They invite her to live out her fantasy's with them, but she is attracted to one of them and wants more. She hesitates at first wondering if this will ruin her chances with the one she wants, or her friendship with all three men.
Whew, you will need a cold shower after reading this one. Once you start this fast paced book you won't be able to stop. My only complaint is I wish the book were longer! This is a really good read for a nice cold Winter evening...preferably in bed with your spouse, or lover!

There's not much else needed to set up JUST GOTTA SAY because this sexy, erotic short is pretty straightforward. But Laura Kaye works her usual magic and creates a story that has me craving more. Though we only get brief glimpses into their lives, I loved each character and feel like I really know them more than just 100 pages warrants. From Lucas's damaged intensity, to Noah's sweet shyness, and Jack's charming sex appeal, these guys are all wonderful. Callie is one lucky girl! I would say Callie was the least developed but even then her compassion and love for Lucas shines through. This was a very hot book and while it's outside my normal reading preferences I still enjoyed it as I do with all of Laura Kaye's books.
Callie, Lucas, Noah and Jack are bestfriend since forever! Apparently Callie has her own desire and so does the boys..
Extremely short, only 55 pages and most of them are, uhm, the hot steamy scene. I like it but the lack of storyline is kind of back me off. No confusion, but still the story's damn too short.
So far so good, how I wish Miss Kaye continuing the story of Callie and Lucas. You know, just both of them. Even though I love Jack and Noah, I ship Callie and Lucas.
Whew! This was a quick steamy read, featuring Callie and her 3 male roommates, one of whom she has deeper feelings for and isn't sure how to tell him. As it turns out he also has feelings for her, and is more than willing to indulge her fantasies so long as their two other roommates (who happen to be bisexual and having their own fun times) understand that she's going to end up with him in the end. There isn't a lot of character development or storyline per se, it's a roll in the proverbial hay for the most part but well written and a fun read. 4 steamy stars.
