Lilah Lopez Dreser's in town to take care of unfinished family business. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree ... or does it? Is there more to this Dreser than meets the eye? Is Cole in mortal danger when this firestorm throws sparks his way? This time around it may be a Dreser causing an uproar in Port Fare. It just may be Cole's best friend Booker. But is he wrong? Usually not!
Unlovable is under contract to be made into a movie!! Unlovable is Sherry's debut novel. It quickly rose to many top seller lists on Amazon. She is pleased to announce that Unlovable is currently being made into a movie. She has added seven more novels to her body of work. Unbelievable and Unbearable are the two followup novels to Unloveable. Not so Easy (her personal favorite), is the poignant story of Max Sanchez who is on a journey to help the struggling JD Miller survive high school. And three exciting novella where Sherry dabbles in the world of fantasy. Loving Marigold, a fun story of a witch living in the backwoods of Sugar Maple, West Virginia. Pete & Tink, a fun, light-hearted novella of a manga-loving geek and and five-and-a-half inch fairy. And finally, Angel in a Black Fedora, a story of an angel and her quest to help others navigate high school. Sherry is also part a collaboration novel titled The Experiment, a dystopian novel of experiments and shift shapers. Sherry and her husband, along with their children and a couple of crazy dogs, call Upstate New York home. It is where she spends her nights writing instead of sleeping.{: Her Blog is:WordpaintingsUnlimited.com Unlovable Video book trailer: youtube.com/watch?v=AGsz1q_DYZM Souls in Peril book trailer: youtube.com/watch?v=0ZoHO_sfP8c
Of course I gave it five stars, I wrote it!;}} I hope you will like it also! It is coming out in 2011. Here is my cover, designed by the talented Paul Beeley!!http://www.create-imaginations.com/
I'm a fan of Sherry's books. She's one of my favorite YA authors. The first time I read Unloveable (which is an awesome book and will soon be a movie! You can read my review from Amazon at the bottom of this post) I completely fell in love with Cole. You can ask Sherry how gaga I've been over him since then, and how excited I was when I found out she was writing a sequel starring the hunky, klutzy doc.
I had a hard time liking Lilah with him, but that has more to do with the fact that no one could be good enough for my Cole than any dislike of her character. I actually really liked Lilah. For growing up as a Dreser, the girl has an amazingly high sense of morals and knowing right from wrong. And while her reasons for heading to Port Fare are a bit devious, there's some sympathy for a girl who's being forced to do something she doesn't really want to do.
As for Cole . . . *sigh* Cole. Let me wipe the drool from my chin and calm my heart. I can't say enough good about this particular character. Is it weird to be in love with a fictional character? Cole is not just swoon-worthy. He's beyond swoon-worthy. He's dream-at-night-about worthy. A brilliant doctor who's a klutz constantly getting hurt and without much coordination, he is also gorgeous, kind, giving, and caring. Also, forgiving. He manages to find it in his heart to forgive what most people would find cause for hate. Hold on a minute while a have a little Cole fantasy . . .
Okay, I'm back.
Their love story is a cute one. I loved watching Lilah try to remain distant from Cole even as she tried to play him, but unable to resist the utter charm that is Cole. I won't give away too much of their story other than to say Sherry manages to play with your emotions and heartstrings throughout the book, and the ending was perfection (for me anyway). It was great to see Maggie and Seth again, and to watch them as they marry and begin their life together. It was also fun to see Booker (who I hope to see starring in his own book soon) and to see that Maggie hasn't let up on her teasing of him at all.
You don't necessarily need to read the first book to read Cole and Lilah's story in Unbelievable, but you might be a bit lost as to who some of the supporting characters are and why it means anything that Lilah is a Dreser if you don't. I suggest you read Unloveable, then immediately follow with this one. Lucky you, you won't have to wait as long as I did for the sequel!
Aaah been waiting forever. When is the book coming out?
I have no idea what to say about this book. Whether I LOVED It or was a little bored haha We didn't see much of Maggie and Seth and their wedding was quite toned down in the book, like nothing important. And I felt it should have been more important. I dunno whether I like Lilah. I liked her more towards the end of the book, I guess. The ending made it worth it. What I loved loved loved in the book was BOOKER!! I swear he made the book so worth readying. His banter and wit. Aaah. I can't wait for the second one
I tried to get through this, I really did, but where the first novel's plot was engaging enough for me to ignore the subpar writing, I just couldn't with this one. I found myself skimming in bewilderment the clunky, self-aware grammar and the attention-deficit plot progression and dialogue. At least the title is apropos; there were many things about this novel I found unbelievable.
There were so many things to love about Unbelievable, I don't even know where to start. Oh, wait... yes I do. With the characters!
Lilah, oh Lilah! I love this girl. Okay, yes, she originally shows up in town with some not-so-nice plans for some of my favorite characters of all time, but that has all been forgiven. Where Maggie was a bit of a damsel in distress character in book one, Lilah was basically her polar opposite. Don't get me wrong, Maggie is without a doubt my favorite fictional character ever, but there's nothing bad about a lil kick-ass in a heroine, either. This girl has a whole host of her own issues to deal with, but she's not afraid to meet them head on and to do what needs to be done to protect the people she cares about.
And Cole. I must admit. I had my doubts about him pulling off the role of hero based on the first book, but he definitely steps up and fills the big-boy shoes in this one. He's an entirely different kind of hero than either Seth or Booker, but he's ever bit as endearing. I love Opie!
And then there are the others. I think possibly my favorite thing about this book is that, though it revolves around Lilah and Cole's story, it doesn't leave anyone out. All our favorites from the first book are back and better than ever. Seth, Maggie and Booker all have big roles in the story that keep you thoroughly invested in each of them. I can't even explain how excited I am for Booker's story!
Now, onto the story. It was one that cost me hours of sleep because I just couldn't put it down. The perfect combination of heart-warming, gut-busting, head-scratching, adrenaline-inducing story telling. Cole and Lilah's relationship started out slowly... very slowly, and very believably for the characters involved, but the action and intrigue kept the pages flowing nicely. By the time everything started to fall into place, I was so invested that stopping wasn't even an option until I knew how everything would turn out.
The Port Fare series is not to be missed by anyone who enjoys contemporary romance.
Okay, so I must have waited almost 9 months for this? Well, I can tell you, it was 100% worth it, 800 PDF pages of pure brilliance.
Cole is an clumsy; overworked doctor, a sexy as hell one at that:
Lilah Dresser is a girl running scared, running from her daddy, her life under his thumb and ready to do anything for her freedom:
But just how far will she go before she learns the truth?
My favourite quote from the book - I will admit to slight giggling at this: “His name should be Lazy Butt, not Anderson,” I complained. “Lilah, that’s not very nice. He is a doctor and deserves some respect,” she said, straight-faced. “We should call him Dr. Lazy Butt.” We laughed to the point of tears.
The characters in this book were fantastic, I love Booker - over protective asshole that he is!
I can not wait for his book, I can only imagine what Sherry will come up with now he isn't a cop and certain characters are dead.
This book dragged me through so many emotions - mainly empathy - many compacted together, however, it was great... I liked that they waited for marriage to have sex, but Id have quite liked a steamy scene but that really didnt take away from the romance or lovey dovey vibe of the book.
Because of a few authors, YA fiction has become one of my favorite genres. I have to thank Sherry Gammon for turning me into a YA addict. For that reason alone I had to read Unbelievable, which proved as exciting as I expected and then some. Following the heroes from Unlovable, who become secondary characters in Unbelievable, this book celebrates a homecoming. As Cole (who in Unbelievable was a supporting actor) takes the stage, we see him grow from a clumsy doctor (yeah, believe it or not, doctors can be clumsy) into a young man with a heart willing to forgive, fight for the truth, and love despite so many obstacles. Enter Lilah, a would-be villain turned heroin. She uses Cole as a ticket into his circle of friends. Her thirst for revenge turns against her when she least expects it. The more she plays Cole, the harder she falls for him. Beautiful arcs for both main characters lead to a well-deserved ending. Each chapter is written from either Cole or Lilah’s point of view, giving the reader a clear image of how their feelings evolve and change for one another. Without giving too many details out, let me just say that the twists and subplots will have you jumping out of your seat (friendly warning: don’t get a manicure while you’re reading—you’ll end up biting your nails in a few very tense places). Kudos to Sherry Gammon for giving Cole his own story. I look forward to Booker’s story, which is next… right, Sherry?
Didn't think I would like this one as much as the first but once you dig into Cole's character it's definitely my favorite of the two! Looking forward to more from this author!
I am a huge fan of Sherry Gammon's book, Unlovable (Port Fare #2) and waited so patiently for this one to come out! When we got the chance to be on this blog tour we were very excited. I really enjoy Ms. Gammon's writing and her characters. I felt like I was reconnecting with old friends when I started this book. Overall I thought it wasn't as intense as Unlovable, but Cole is a very easy going guy, so I think the tone of this story really fits him. I love this beautiful cover and think it fits Lilah and her story perfectly. (Once you read this book you will make the connection.) I will say that for our followers of Novel Seduction, Unbelievable is a bit different than our usual genre. It's flirty, loving and pure and there is no sexy time in it at all, but the story itself makes up for that and I'm okay to step away from the scandalous for a little bit. (DON'T WORRY, IT'S NOT PERMANENT ;) )
On to the characters, lets start with Cole. Oh my boring Dr. Colten, I wasn't sure what to do with him, lol. Even he calls himself boring over and over in the first half of the story. For me, Cole was just that. I know he's a hot doctor but his "Brain Gaming" and klutziness just didn't do it for me. I'm glad the other guys were around to keep it spicy and hot! The part of Cole that is attractive to me is his caring heart and open mind. He was so sweet to Lilah even when most were not and stood up for her when it counted! The changes Cole made were great and I was really impressed. I don't want to give anything away, but be prepared to be shocked at our sweet doctor! I also loved the little surprise funny toward the end! Again, you must read to find out!
I loved Lilah Dreser! Her style, her spirit and her creativity were wonderful. She was selfless and sweet compared to the monster of a family she came from. Lilah brought so much life to Port Fare. I loved how she and Maggie hit it off and feel that they are really good for one another. I really enjoyed how in the end Lilah wanted to stick to her "plan" to a fault! It was funny seeing how the rest of the crew were going to contain her. Lilah is a strong, independent woman and I love her for that!
Seth and Maggie are so incredibly sweet and still in love. It was great having them as such a constant in book 2. I love how they care for their friends like family and would do anything for them. Booker is such a character. I feel like we saw a different side of him here. I really think he might have a tendency to be a "bad boy". For a second, toward the end of the book, I thought he was going there. He kept everything funny and exciting and hope that book 3 is about him and what he's going to pursue in the future.
Overall this story had so much to offer, but most of all it was the sweet love between Cole and Lilah that stood out. I was hoping for a little more action with the MET and the Dresers but this was about Cole and not really Seth or Booker. I would highly recommend to start with Unlovable if you seem interested in this series. It's truly a touching story and will set the scene for Unbelievable perfectly!
Wow! Oh wow! Ms. Gammon delivered yet again like she did in Unbelievable. When I finished reading Unlovable first book in series, I was blown away and couldn't wait to dig into the next one. But as much as I wanted the next book, I didn't think I could love another character like I loved the first two. I'm one of those girls that when I start reading a series I fall in love with my characters. So Ms. Gammon outdid herself. I absolutely LOVED Lilah. She was just as a victim as Maggie was. She was a sweet girl. One thing about Gammon is that she writes very descriptive. So descriptive I can actually see everything I read vividly in my head. And I really enjoyed that about this book, every paragraph I read was a vivid scene.
Unbelievable is Cole's story. If you read Unlovable, then you know who Cole is. Cole is the sexy yet very clumsy doctor. He won my heart with his kindness and his sweetness. He's definitely a guy you have to snatch up if given the chance before someone else does. And that's what Lilah did. She couldn't help but fall for his charm. But will her family history let her keep the new love of her life?
In Unbelievable you get a spend time with the characters and see how they interact with one another. You can feel their chemistry and their concerns. You get to fall in love with Cole like Lilah did. You also get to find out what has Booker over the edge which causes him to behave the way he does. And you get to witness the love between Seth and Maggie.
Unbelievable sucked me in immediately. I knew from the beginning that I liked Lilah and I liked her for Cole. I understand her motives and felt a lot of compassion for her. Deep down inside she's a good person who doesn't know how to disappoint her father. I enjoyed reading how their relationship blossomed. I also enjoyed the back story and reading about Maggie and Seth. I can't wait to read Booker's story, which I'm sure it's next in series. I love Unbelievable as much as I loved Unlovable. I give Unbelievable a 4.5 stars and a definite Good Choice for Reading.
Megérdemelne fél csillaggal többet is, de most úgy érzem elég a 4. :S
Ok so I must say I was extremely excited for this book to come out. And I was not disappointed! I was beyond happy that Maggie and Seth both came back and had very key roles, since after all, they were the ones we all originally feel in love with. And of course, Booker, the sweet lovable kitty. I found myself actually laughing out loud with Booker, Seth, and Coles banter. And the watermelon fiasco! That was just brilliant! The book had so many comedic points. Which is extremely refreshing! And being able to hear from Coles perspective about things that happened between Seth and Maggie or things about Booker. It was great.
As much as I loved their relationship I was a little annoyed though. I am very hopeless romantic and will always enjoy a good love story, but for me I felt like for Coles character to tell Lilah he loved her after just a week or so, it was too soon. It felt rushed. I mean Cole hasn't had a relationship in how long? Years and years? Then a week later he's telling her he loves her...after all the fighting he did to "not care about her". I do believe that for me that's the only negative thought i had about the book.
I don't want to spoil the book for those who haven't read it. But I will say how much I appreciated seeing what happened to Cole. It's a very common thing now and something more and more couples have to endure and I just love how they came out of it in the end.
Everyone should read this book. You will not be disappointed and I'm sure you will fall in love with them, all over again, as much as I did. And you'll be begging for Booker (and possibly a very timid hospital worker)'s story just as soon as you read the last sentence of Unbelievable.
Lilah, aka Delilah Lopez Dreser, has come to Port Fare, NY at her father's request. He wants to exact revenge on Booker and Seth, the two MET officers that killed his sons, but knows that if he shows his face he will be shot on sight. So he sends a disguised Lilah in his place. Lilah knows that she needs to get close to Booker and Seth, but she's not quite sure how to do it. She searches for just the right job, only to have it fall into her lap. She's interviewing for a position at an interior design shop in town when Booker himself walks through the door and asks her to decorate Cole's new office at the hospital. Lilah knows that this is the perfect opportunity to get the info that her father needs. But she soon realizes that the picture that he painted of these men is not accurate. She starts really liking the men and Seth's fiance Maggie. She knows that they can not be the hardened killers and thieves that her father makes them out to be, she knows that she must change his mind, she doesn't want her new friends hurt. There's also Cole, the handsome ER doctor that everyone loves. When Lilah starts to fall for him, she knows that she must get out of Port Fare before everyone she cares for is hurt.
I loved this book! There was plenty of romance, action and adventure to keep me interested. The characters are well written, I feel like I "know" Lilah and all the other characters. I really enjoyed the way the ending played out, in general, I knew what would have to happen, but it still kept me guessing right to the last page. I really can't wait to read the next novel in this series!
This book is the second in a series, but there is enough information given that even if you haven't read the first book, you will understand this one.
I was so happy to be included in this blog tour for Sherry Gammon's new book, Unbelievable. This is the second book in the Port Fare series with Unlovable being the first. Although I have had these books on my "to read" list, I hadn't had the chance to read them yet. Gratefully, Sherry sent me both books so I could read them in order. You could read Unbelievable without reading the first book, but I was really glad I did read the first book before this one. I felt like I got to know the characters from square one. Unlovable was a great read and I loved it.
I really believe that if you have great characters that people can connect and relate to you could put them in almost any setting and have a great book. Some books are plot driven and some are character driven. I would definitely put this book into the character driven bag. The characters have real feelings and emotions that I could identify with. Their dialogue was believable and easy flowing. That isn't to say that the plot was lacking, because it totally was not. I loved the continuation of the story line from the first book and the slow building tension because you just know that everything is going to come to a head and blow at any moment.
After reading the first book I had hoped that we would get to know Cole better. Yea for the starring role in this book! He is such a sweet man, gentle and loyal. I just love him. His personality is in stark contrast to Deliah's forward and out loud personality. It was fun watching them come together.
These were some of my favorite reads this month. I'm a fan of Sherry Gammon and I will be watching and waiting for next books.
Content: some steamy kisses but clean. I clean books!
I loved Unlovable (Port Fare #1). It was the story of Seth and Maggie. And I loved getting to see those two characters again, still in love, and engaged to be married. Even if they were just supporting characters, it was nice to revisit them and see how they're doing.
Unbelievable is Cole and Lilah's story. Cole is a doctor; an extremely kind, thoughtful, and, oh yeah, clumsy doctor. Lilah is the youngest child of Harry Dresser. That's the father of the guys who tried to kill Maggie in Unlovable. And Harry has forced Lilah to gather information on Seth, Maggie, and Booker so that he can kill them. All Lilah wants is to be left alone. She wants nothing to do with her father's business.
I love Cole's gentleness and protectiveness. I never thought about how there were different ways you could be protective until I read this book. Seth and Booker are extremely protective of Maggie, but in a take-action kind of way. Cole is protective of Lilah in a gentle way. Does that make sense? Never mind...
Anyways, I also love Lilah's spunk and attitude. Her father has told her that Maggie murdered her brother in cold blood, that she has no heart. But Lilah starts to realize that her father lied to her, that her brother was this mentally unstable person. And she also starts to fall for Cole as much as she tries not to.
I cannot wait for the third book!!!! I'm soo excited to finally read Booker's story!!!!!
This was a clean sweet romance that lived up to the standard set by the first book. The romance followed a lust to love path that was believable and easy to follow.
The best part of this book is the dialogue. It is witty and easy. It reads like people actually talk, and while humourous, also showcases the love the characters have for each other.
Just like the first book, my favourite character was Booker. He has such a strong personality that his character stands out from the rest. While he isn’t portayed in the best light in this book, he still comes across as real and heroic. I can’t wait for his book, which I assume the third book will be about. I even think I can guess who the love interest will be, based on a few hints and scenes from this book.
The only part I didn’t enjoy was the slight time warp in the middle of the book. I’m not quite sure how much time the book spanned, but it seemed a little off. Based on what happened, my understanding of the length is both too long and too short, depending on which plot points I consider.
Overall, this was a sweet read that I thoroughly enjoyed. While Seth and Maggie’s relationship still seems a bit too much, and the living arrangements have only gotten more convoluted, the story itself was quite fun. It is heavy on humour and action, and there is never a dull moment. I can’t wait for the next one.
My Review of Unbelievable by Sherry Gammon I thought that after reading Sherry’s first book Unlovable that I would know how this story would unfold. Was I wrong! I love a book that is unpredictable and keeps me so hooked in that I don’t want to put it down (even to sleep). This was one of them. This book took so many ‘detours’ that on several occasions I didn’t think I would get a HEA. I’m not going to tell you if I did. But I can tell you I loved it! Sherry’s excellent development of her characters continued and even though the main characters were different, I still got to know more about the other characters, the ones that I fell in love with in Unlovable. This is Cole’s story and I now have a new fictional boyfriend. I loved his clumsiness, his blushes and his ability to love unreservedly . I also loved his skills as a dedicated doctor. Sorry Seth, but he’s passed you in my list. Sherry has a writing style that lets you become ‘friends’ with her characters, although not the bad guys. Every word keeps you glued to the page. I loved the tension, the love and the humorous interludes that make you chuckle to yourself. I mentally high-fived some of the characters many times. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars and I really hope I don’t have to wait long for the next one. ~Karen~ from Confessions of a Bookaholic
I adore Sherry Gammon’s Port Fare series. It’s no surprise that the first book in this series Unlovable - (Port Fare 1) is currently under contact to become a movie! Unbelievable (Port Fare #2) pretty much picks up where book one left off. All off the same characters are back except for one new addition - Lilah “Hudson” Dreser. Lilah’s king-pin drug cartel father has a sick vendetta against drug agents Booker and Seth and will stop at nothing to make sure they pay for killing his sons. Lilah moves to Port Fare under an assumed identity and is left with no choice but to carry out her father’s deadly agenda. Lilah ends up falling for Cole…a sweet, awkward friend of Booker, Seth and Maggie. After getting to know Cole and her dad’s arch enemies she questions his intentions. Lilah fears for her life since anyone who questions Harry Dreser ends up dead. I have to say I loved the second half of the book the best. It was action packed with so many twists and turns. Sherry Gammon is one of my all-time favorite YA writers and her story telling skills make this series very addictive. I know I’ll buy a ticket to see this on the big screen and can’t wait to read book 3? Four and a half UNBELIEVABLE Stars!
Well worth the wait. Love it love it love it. I really didn't want it to end. I loved reading about Cole, Lila and the others. I think what i like best is how involved all the characters are and they're there not like in other stories where they just reference to characters from the past. And they all blend so well together that their little family just feels right and of course Lila fit right in. and the ending OMG the ending i cried with Lila it was perfect and like i said i cant wait to read more about this new little surprise. Oh and Booker same old Booker but this time he went a little crazy but its understandable with everything that happened. *sigh* I don't know what ales to say with out giving out a spoiler I just love these books. >
Grown-up characters with childlike attitude and mind. So much Shakespeare : ) -- they (Cole and Lilah) knew every line, act, scene from every work he's ever written! Olé! So what! Actually it is important cause reciting bits from the plays of the great bard was one of their romantic pastimes -- cute -- unique -- lol! The age issue dragged half a book! If Lilah really wanted to hide her age the smart thing would have been just to say a false one and remember the lie. The fact the she was so mysterious about her age was just in her detriment (Cole was avoiding her especially because of her age!) I also disliked Birdie calling her child whenever she was talking to her (who talks like that?!) A rather puerile approach (weak story but likable characters)for such strong subjects (abuse of all kind, crimes and so on).
I hope Book will have a better developed story! As the last one (and the oldest) of the three musketeers he deserves it : P (although the little blurb didn't convince me of that ... yet)
Absolutely amazing, I couldn't put it down! Lilah Dresser, at first you feel as if she is just as evil as her father and brothers, turns out she is nothing like her namesake. She tries to get closer to Booker and Seth but instead starts to fall in love with their best friend Cole. The moment when they found out the truth about her my stomach dropped for her. With all the lies she had to tell and Cole still wanted her and his love didn't die. The fact that she was willing to kill herself to save all of them from her father's revenge just showed how much she truly loved him. My heart stopped when Clive told her that her father was there and had Booker and Cole hostage in Booker's building. The ending of this book was just amazing and heart melting, Lilah's daughter wasn't dead and Birdie had saved her and now Lilah had her back! I can't wait for Booker's story to come out!!!
Hmmm… kb…… MOST!!! :D :D :D :D
This is from my notes while reading the book. So, please do excuse my shuffled comments. ~ Oh. My. In Unlovable, I fell in love with Seth. But, in Unbelievable, I fell for him more. <3 How I wish I was Maggie. :) ~ Cole's a great man. But, he's like a bit immature. I know that Sherry Gammon did her best to keep a "clean" book, but, Cole's thirty. He should be ... more manly. I don't know really what I am pointing out here, but, while reading the book, I think that Cole's thoughts are like a sixteen-year-old's. Or even younger. Forget it. He's a very good guy. ~ HAHA. The Three Musketeers are really well-developed characters that are really awesome and great people. How I wish many people like them exist in this world. :) ~ Maggie must be a really awesome friend! ~ Can't wait for Booker's book! Unbearable. Yup. My excitement's kind of ... unbearable. :D
Oh my poor heart and tear ducts!! I really enjoyed this book, it was just as good as the first book in the series. I enjoyed Lilah and Coles story and also seeing Maggie and Seth's story continue. Cole and Lilah made me laugh and they broke my heart. I mean there was a section where I felt that black achnig hole in my chest that comes along with heartbreak!! It hurt like it was happening to me!! Ridiculous I know, but still.
And HELLO!! Tess!! Booker!! And Tess AND Booker!!!! Sweet mother Earth, tell me there will be a book 3 and that I will not have to wait an eternity for it!!! I know there is a story there since it was touched on in this book and I know we will not be left hanging like that!!!! Right?
Ah! My heart! This was an intense story with amazing characters. Lilah Dreser is the daughter of an infamous, brutal drug runner. When she goes to a small town in New York to find a job near Booker Gatto, the MET agent responsible for killing her brothers, she only wants to help gather information on him to be free of her father’s tyrannical rule. But as she gets to know the people he wants revenge on, she starts doubting her father’s story. Seth, Maggie, Booker, and Cole seem too nice to have executed her brothers. When she loses her heart to the clumsy, Cole, life will never be the same again and she will question everything she knows. Great tension and plot; the clean romance tugged at my heart. Definitely goes into my favorites list.
I really like this series! I waited a year to read this book and I just love it. I love all the characters. I thought it would be a little more suspenseful like the first book, but I still liked the small drama.
Delilah's was very gullible at time and it really frustrated me. I liked her personality. She didn't pretend to be a shy woman to get the guy. She was very upfront about her flirting. Her interaction with her was natural and not forced like it seems with other books I've read before. I liked Cole in the first book but in this book I really got to know him and I loved him. He was nerdy funny and he seemed fit very well with Delilah.
It's truly unenviable it actually got published. I am surprised I purchased it after such a long wait, though I understand the author, Sherry Gammon, was out of commission for quite a while. Over all this was quite entertaining to read. I like the descriptions of the houses and colors and environment. I was happy for Lilah at the end. Frankly though I don't think its very realistic to say everyone will come out in happy ass couple. If the next book takes as long as this one did I am seriously going to consider not purchasing... right away. Needless to say - 1 star for the long wait but still going on my favorite list.
When I got the book in the mail, I jumped with excitement, and a smile spread across my face. I'm going to stop read the book I'm currently read to read Unbelievable. I loved the first book, Unlovable, so I hope I like Unbelievable. I predict that I will. Now I'm going to read the book, and yes there is a smile on my face right now. I finished read Unbelievable yesterday. I had soo many emotions while reading the book: happy, sad, excited, anxious, and nervous. One thing I know for sure is that I loved the book and there is no other way to say what I thought/ feel about the book. The book Unbelievable keep a smile on my face ALL the time. :D
