Cooking from this book as with all Rachel allen books is simple and produces some delicious dishes. I loved the soup recipies in this book and I cooked most of the chocolate chapter recipies with great results. One of the most useful recipes in the book is the Madeira cake recipe, It is so versatile the basis for a coffee cake, lemon cake, orange cake etc. The ideas for dinner parties in this book are great and the recipes really suit a dinner party setting, although not exclusively as i have baked banana and chocolate cake and finished it myself in two days :) great cook book, a must have for any fan of rachel allen or anybody who likes simple yet tasty recipies!
the recipes are just as nice as in her first book but for me the recipes in the first one were better arranged and therefore easier to find than in this one!
