Great story! sweet n steamy with a caveman shifter hero who DESTROYS anyone who tries to harm his woman! I am fucking loving this author!

It was an okay story. I didn’t feel such a connection to the characters but there wasn’t anything toxic or inappropriate behaviour.
There are short stories with meat in them,but this wasn’t one of them.

This was a cute short story. I was drawn in right in the beginning with the story line. I felt for the book being smaller the characters were well developed and I enjoyed this story. I will be trying out the other books in this series. Recommend for all shifter lovers for quick instalove HEA!

1.5* Not very well written and the fastest romance ever.
I’ve got to say that it was a bit hard to buy into their romance. There’s fast then there’s this! ONE DAY AFTER MEETING, they’re madly in love, he’s taken her virginity, she knows he’s a bear shifter and she’s fine with it, and they’re about to be mated when her brother comes and drags her away. I can’t say I blame him. I’d be questioning if my sister was thinking clearly as well!
At least with the first book there was a bit of a story, and they didn’t jump straight into bed. Jessica had only just met Ethan when she goes back to his cabin in the woods. He could have been a mass murderer for all she knew. Yes I know they’re mates, and it’s different, but I’ve read a lot of shifter books and it’s never been that fast!

Fabulous, sexy, fun read in the Obsessed Nates series by Ariana Hawkes!

I've read fairy tales, Grimm and otherwise, through childhood. Visited Middle Earth with hobbits and their travel companions. Saw Mars with John Carter. Devoured every Robert Heinlein book in search of Lazarus Long. Not to mention countless romance novels which are a different type of fantasy fiction. But I believe this story was my first with an actual shifter. Unlike Beauty and the Beast, this is no witch's curse, it's the guy's real life. Supposedly. There was lots more fantasy in the story but I'll leave it at that. It is less than 100 pages which was all I could take. Hopefully it will be my last shifter story. Nice try but, nope. Not for me.

I love Jessica and Ethan's story. Ethan, a bear shifter, is helping his grandad out by taking over his bus route while he's having an operation. Little did Ethan know what grandad actually knew - that is Ethan would find his mate when she took the bus. The bus broke down in the middle of a bad storm so Ethan took Jessica to his cabin. Jessica somehow knew Ethan wouldn't hurt her like her ex boyfriend. There's some action when Jessica's brother comes to rescue her although Jessica didn't want to be rescued but she goes with her brother anyway. When the ex comes back and hurts her brother and grabs Jessica, a huge grizzly saves the day for Jessica and her brother. Happy ending for all!

This is the most idiotic thing I've read in months.
Awkward, present tense narration.
A heroine who brings so much new meaning to the term "too stupid to live", that I have to wonder whether she is looking to be murdered. It takes a special kind of person to be this trusting, and by special, I mean stupid. So fucking stupid.
Idealisation of virginity. Also, faintly gross and by no means exciting-sounding sex.
Extreme instalove. Insta everything else too.
And apparently this author has written 119 different books? UGH.

liked the story
Enjoyed the story and the characters. Hope there will be stories for all the brothers including Jessica’s (Ricky) who just seemed to disappear near the end of the story. Is he part of the family and extended family? Maybe I missed the mention of him if so ignore me. I just like to know what happens to all the main characters especially a brother who was so protective and her only family.

Familiar but I don't remember reading it
This seemed very familiar to me. I went through all the books I've read in the past & it's not on the list but I knew basically what was going to happen. Did it make me enjoy it any less? No, not really. I liked it. One thing that did bother me was they never told you the name of the daughter. The son, yep but not the daughter. Wtf is that?!

Jessica was running and in hiding from her stalkerish ex-boyfriend. She found true love in the most unexpected place imaginable, a bus! To top it all off her newfound love Ethan will protect her from her crazy ex for good in the most unexpected way.
No more running and hiding for Jessica and her brother Ricky. Wish this story were longer and more in depth after the danger is over for Jessica.

For what it is
It's pretty cute. The plot is kind of meh, but is that truly what any of us is here for? I like that all of the loose ends get tied up, and there aren't really the gaping plot holes you usually see in these. What I will say is that if she hires an editor, I will actually read another book of hers. The typos and inadvertent continuity errors were very annoying. Please hire an editor!!

An intense and impossible to put down story! I breezed right through this novella. The characters were charming, the story was addictively sweet and still scorchingly steamy, and it was written well with no editing issues whatsoever! It was just a fun, insta-love story that hits just right. I’d love to read more stories in this series.

This was a very short and sexy novella with fated mates, sexy times, and a bad ass protective grizzly bear. If you're looking for something fast, that gets you going with shifter fated mates then I would recommend this. It's not my favorite but it is a well written good story.

Fast and easy read. I giggled when this huge hot muscular man bun wearing bear shifter is driving a bus.....but maybe I am just jealous I'm not meeting a man like this myself?

This was a quick steamy instant mate type of story. It was sweet with a bit of danger to spice things up. And had a cute mountain of a man that is a bear who falls for his cute human mate in a funny way. Made me sigh and laugh a few times along the way.

I loved this book, it was sweet and romantic and I have to be honest I love bear shifter romances. The story has fantastic characters and a little danger thrown in made for a perfect story. I highly recommend this book and this author. Her stories always leave you with a good feeling.

Gotta love a big grizzly shifter. Something about a big ,growly, protective man, who can change into a literal Grizzly bear. Ethan knows Jessica is his mate on the broken down bus, and the quick rescue in the woods were the beginning of their fated mating.
