This is a wonderful sequel to Wind in the Willows and another one I need to get moving and read to my kids before they are too old to suspend disbelief and walk alongside Rat, Mole, Badger and Toad for a while!

You have to love a bunch of talking animals. The personalities that were given to them at the time were so real to me, and so fun. As an imaginative child, I wondered what it would be like to live and to have adventures with the crazy Mr. Toad. This is a classic that I hope one day my daughter will love.
