There were points in some stories where I couldn't personally relate to, but it's nice to know they were all nonfiction stories. Because at the end of the day, you learn something new.
~Disclaimer: I received this book for free in a giveaway~
This collection is a pretty mixed bag. Some stories I actually disliked, some I didn't feel much for and about 1/4 of them I enjoyed.
The problem with non-fiction is it doesn't feel very non-fiction when you are saying what someone else is feeling. That would be interpretation. Some of these stories I would really like to hear the other side to. Particularly the ones I didn't enjoy.
If you like creative non-fiction you may enjoy this. But I feel realistic fiction fans would like it more? I feel bad leaving a negative review, but there is no one I can justify a positive one.
I won this book on Good Reads First Reads. I was not a huge fan of these short stories. Some were ok others were just a little bizarre. I found some a little hard to follow. I think these stories were a little too short.
