First of all, I think that Posamentier's goal is truly a noble one and you can see that he deeply cares about mathematical education.
However, I think this book could have been much better. The idea is there, the mathematics is there, but I still felt like either something was missing or there was too much of something... Although I'm not really sure what that "something" actually is.
I wanted to give it 3 stars because "I liked it", but I cannot say that "I really liked it"... but there were several chapters which were simply brilliant and it is because of them that I'm giving it 4 stars after all.
