A nice book, well-presented, that goes through all the basics of man cooking. Nothing much new in there fit me, but I can think of several friends who claim they can't cook who could benefit from this one!

Well not the cookbook for the person trying to be healthier it definitely has manly meal options. The cooking tools, definitions & equivalents will help the beginning cook while serving as a reminder for the experienced one.

Most of the recipes are simplistic...and unhealthy. I know plenty of men who can cook, and might appreciate some simple, flavorful recipes for "game night" that won't either make them fat or give them a coronary. *Note* Some of the desserts could be used to teach children basic cooking skills.
