I really liked this book. So much so that I just bought a used copy off of Amazon. The recipes are accessible and you can easily find the ingredients (in California at least) which is a MUST for Jamaican. Some people slagged this book on Amazon because the author isn't Jamaican but I still enjoyed the recipes I made from this book and am perfectly happy adding it to my collection. This book is out of print but the author recently published a smaller sampling of these recipes that is available for $12- i compared the books and bought the older one since it was bigger and is a proven commodity.

I checked out another book that may be more authentic called The Real Taste of Jamaica by Enid Donaldson but half the ingredients I couldn't find anywhere- which basically rendered its awesomeness useless.
