Rate this book
The classic Chasidic work, Keter Shem Tov, is a collection of sayings, teachings, and directives from the founder of the Chasidic movement, first printed more than 200 years ago. This new edition, Keter Shem Tov "Hashalem", is a newly typeset, thoroughly researched edition, features copious corrections, footnotes and cross-references.
The Frierdiker Rebbe said this is one of the three books that every person should have in his house.
It is a collection of the sayings and directives of Rabbi Yisroel Baal Shem Tov (5458-5520; 1697-1760). Rabbi Aharon Hakohen of Apta collected them largely from the written works of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Hakohen of Polani, a student of the Baal Shem Tov, who is known for having written Toldos Yaakov Yosef.
