Extremely valuable

I really enjoyed reading this book and I plan to read it a few more times again in the near future. If you believe in the domino effect, then use this as your first domino.

The beauty of this book is it's simplicity and practical examples. It is so easy to understand and to follow it's instructions, that you will remember and recall a lot even when only speed-reading it.
Downside for me as an European citizen are the US American examples used to impress the techniques onto the reader's mind. Well, I think there is no harm in learning the date and Beginning of Lincoln's Gettysburg speech.
The reason for me to buy this book was that I wanted to find an easier way of learning long texts. He the book was a bit short. However for general memory improvements and great techniques for learning and remembering numbers, names and directions this book proves to be a treasure chest!

This is filled with basic memory tricks like using association, contrast, or sequence to remember things. While this may help short-term and medium-term memory, I don't think it has impact on deep learning or memory.
