Aria Darwin is in hiding in the Draiochta, the secret city of the Fae. She is training with her Guard Keeper, Clay. Learning to use her abilities and discovering more about the prophecy and her people. The council is divided on how to proceed and Aria must come up with a plan to keep her people safe.

So much happens in Ignite that I can’t share without it becoming a spoiler, let me just say…IT WAS AWESOME! Once again Jenna Bernel shocks us with unexpected twists and turns and surprising revelations. Ignite is a marvelous and original young adult plot that will delight any fantasy, ya romance readers.

Enjoyed more than the 1st. The characters really come alive in this book. The plot is good. While it again ends on a cliffhanger this one feels more natural. I feel like we wrapped up the story while it has me wanting to go on to the 3rd/final book. Well done.

Good read....

Aria and her friends are on the island. She was told she is the prophecy to end the enemy. Training day after day with Clay has afforded her few results. Her friends are happy there, extremely happy. Morgan has found her soulmate. But Liam will do anything to capture Aria and make her his queen.

New revolutions come to light, and Aria finds that information has been kept from her. She knows her parents are dead, but she is shocked by the other big surprise. Can she overcome her issues to become the real queen needed to destroy Liam.?? Clay is her guard keeper, but she may want to move that to the next level.

Interesting story. Read on my friends

This author did a wonderful job of expanding upon the MC’s mysterious roots . I found the creation of a Trinity fae totally unique and has definitely made this storyline read worthy. The bad guy is scum...of course. The keeper of a soul is also an element that has me wanting to find out more. By far, Book two has turned up the addictive factor. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Ari has finally come to terms that she is the Aira queen. Now of she could control her powers. She needs them more than ever since Liam will do anything to get her back. Her guard and training partner Clay isn’t helping matters either. If they are not fighting then they are keeping secrets from each other. It’s up to Ari to save city of Draíochta and she is going to need a little help along the way.

When secrets come to light, it will ignite a fire within Ari.

Yes yes yes!!!!!! This book blew the first one out of the water. So much was going on in this one and I loved it. It was fast paced, action packed, and full of swoon worthy moments. Ari finally gets to use her powers, which are awesome by the end of the book. We learn about secrets that could change everything. We find out more about the fae and their laws, which was very interesting to read about. Once I started reading this I couldn’t stop and I really needed to go to sleep but I was hocked. I know some people say that the second book in the series is never better than the first, but this book proves them wrong. Although I’m not giving it five stars, I still loved this book. I loved the fights between Clay and Ari…(does that make me sick?) LOL I just loved them being together. There were a lot of intense moments, but I can’t tell you about them. :D

Overall: A great read that will that will have you wishing for the next book in the series.

Ari- She is pretty clear headed to have been betrayed by the person that you loved. It didn’t hold her back and she grew stronger from it. I loved learning new things about her, some things she found out right along with us. She is great and she can only get better in the next one.

Clay: He is the Prince of the Eartha fae, but doesn’t show it. He’d rather people look at him like he is regular person. He is tall, has killer blue eyes, a sense of humor and has dark hair. Everything I want in a guy *SWOONS* He is very sullen though and never lets anyone get to close and hides his feelings. Can I just say that I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!

Ignite took this trilogy to a whole new level, and I loved every second of it.

Aria has developed into such an amazing character, and her growth can be seen throughout this book. I'm so glad she is no longer the mopey girl from Unearth. Even though she still has a tendency to wallow in her misfortune, her strength shines through and she has finally learned to stand up for herself. I enjoyed learning more about Aria's powers and getting to see her in action, even if the results were disastrous at times.

I was also excited to see more of Clay. He is a truly amazing character, staying strong and giving so much of himself to keep Aria safe. I often felt sorry for him. He knew just how to push Aria's buttons, and she was quite catty with him, but he had his reasons and as the truth about their relationship unraveled, my heart ached for him all the more. He'd suffered so much, and continued to suffer each day with the guilt that consumed him.

Clay and Aria's chemistry is explosive, literally, but there were some amazingly tender moments shared between them. Clay seemed quite guarded when he was with Aria, but from time to time his soft-hearted, swoon-worthy self showed itself, leaving me with my heart in my throat. Bernel certainly knows how to keep her readers on the edge of their seat, waiting for that special moment when two characters, who so obviously belong together, finally admit their feelings. It was painful to read (in a good way)!!

There are plenty of twists and turns, and some amazing revelations within this story. Some made me cry, others sent my heart soaring. I'm ready to dive right into the next book. I'm excited to see what Bernel has in store for the amazing characters she has brought to life.

I found the second book better than the first one and the truth is revealed about Liam though I had my suspicions as he was just too nice for words. Clay is more interesting, the dark brooding guardian watching out for her. Aria finds out that sometimes the people you love are not what they seem and she will rue the day she decided to love Liam. He is much more than he seems and a menacing secret of his own. Aria finds out some home truths about her past and that she is anything but a mere human girl. The action picks up in this story and there is a love triangle of sorts though distorted to say the least. Clay goes from being her protector to indifferent to seemingly caring about her. Aria is feeling pressured with her new life and responsibilities and also dealing with the guilt of trying to protect her family and friends. Secrets are revealed in this book and decisions need to be made. Aria has to learn to harness her powers or the Fae may be doomed. The story was a bit predictable but I think after reading so many books in this genre, they tend to blend together after awhile.

Book two rocks!!!
I enjoyed the second book more than first.
Several reasons.. Ari found out about herself, lots of questions answered. I love the city that Jenna created, Draiochta. I like that her friends are still by her side.( Ari ) They learn a few things too. Wow.. Aria' s life was not at all she expected or knew about. Lies revealed, truth discovered. The plots continue and twist again..Fae, new city and magic. What's not to love.

Liam, we found out what he is all about. Yes it's awful and my heart breaks for Ari. He was too good to be true! Then finally mystery man who we feared in book one..we know all about him now. Clay is one of my favorite characters. He is her guardian. Will Ari ever remember? What connection do they have? What will Clay not say...
Read it! It's a great world to get lost in.

The second book in this Secret trinity series is even better than the first. Ari is now in seclusion hidden from Liam, with her people the Fae. She starts training with Clay her protector, and her friends are there as well. Ari starts to unravel the past and remember things. During her time training to perfect her abilities, she also finds out she has a brother and he is still alive.Ari is the new queen and has a lot of things to learn.Clay and her are explosive together. the chemistry is so sexy. I love these two the interactions between them are so funny and cute. The fact that we get to see so much more of Clay in this book was great since he is such a great character. Ari also starts to come into her own. I liked the first book, but I love this one and can't wait to read the next one. I have been reading NA lately, and I love that genre, but It's nice to get back to a good YA book with a great story line.

Book two in The Secret Trinity: Ignite is so freaking amazing. Most of the story takes place in Draíochta. Which is a amazing place. My favorite spot is the tree house. The adventure continues and we see how things have changed in a short amount of time. What is Liam really up to? We find out more. Clay and Ari. The sparks fly. They don't exactly see eye to eye on most issues. So that is fun to see them interact. I found the sealment so cool. Soul keepers are very important. I also like Grant and Morgan's relationship. We find out more about Famorii and Adam. We see some black magic and some unique abilities! Ms. Bernel has a magical gift of writing! I just can't get enough of this series. I am off to read book three. This does contain some swearing sprinkled throughout. No sex.

This was one more lovely than the first..i never felt dragging.. and the new secrets only made it more edgy and suspenseful.

The best was Ari and Clay..Oh man i loved the tension between Aria and Clay in this one..it was mind blowing..!!!

Though i hated liam more than i thought i hate him after what he does to Ari in this one..i want to see what will Ari do to his to suffer!!

And now that adam is back i can't wait to see what aria's next plan is and now she has clay and her friends on her side!

Absolutely loved it..can't wait for the next one!

Good stuff. I like this series. It's still a little unbelievable that the main characters all have some sort of crazy ability whether it be fae or witch, but I'm just going with it. This book was fast paced and had just enough romance to keep it interesting without dominating the story. I can't wait to pick up the last book in the trilogy. My only reservation... I just wish each book was longer and had more information since I love being lost in these books (or that maybe all three of these books had just been one).

I didn't expect to get totally wrapped up in this story but once I started there was no going back. Amazing, heart wrenching, unstoppable action from start to finish. All the questions you may have been asking yourself are answered and then some. Be prepared for the unexpected and maybe has a cold drink on hand because you are going to need it.

The 2nd book was better than the first but still struggled a bit with pacing. Some things resolved too easily while other plot elements were overdrawn.

It was an enjoyable read otherwise.
