One very hot and very erotic read that’s guaranteed to leave you wanting more! Excellent story, characters, setting and all around everything that makes for a satisfying read all around.
Alex is a beautiful and intelligent woman that was recently deceived by someone she thought loved and cared for her. Some months have passed and she has found some very yummy eye candy that she calls Mr. Buff. Coming to know his daily routine, she watches him loyally, daily, never missing a beat and constantly has naughty thoughts of him when she cannot get her eyes on him. She gets quite a few surprises when she runs into him face to face during a girl’s night out. One of them finding out she was not the only one doing the watching ;)
Mr. Buff is a handsome, successful, smart, and very dominant male specimen. Especially when it comes to the bedroom (*wink wink). Not really one for relationships and their strings, he’s shocked at himself and his wondering thoughts from the first time he spots a beauty across the way from his office window, thoughts he’s never had before. When he finally meets her face to face, more than his fantasies come true, she’s much better than he’s ever imagined, but will it be able to last and does he really want it to?

Alex works in a very busy high flying business with Andrew as her boss.
Alex goes to dinner with her boyfriend at the time and then brakes up with him because he’s a total dick. I loved this bit in book so much I had to quote it.
Jack “What the hell are you talking about?” she blurted in a whisper. “I don’t need to lose weight. The doctor says I’m as healthy as any other thirty-something. I’m happy the way I am.” Jack glared at her. “Well, I’m not happy and I’m the one who has to look at you. I want you into a size two by the end of the year.”
Alex “Well, I’m not happy with the size of your dick, and I’m the one who has to fake it all the time,”
I found this absolutely hilarious lol
This book is very action pack which I wasn’t expecting but was very well put together.
I was shocked when Andrew was arrested for possible murder but it was interesting reading a CEO of a multi millionaire company been arrested and not getting out of it straight away.

For men there’s a little blue pill. And what about us? I don’t believe in self medication so luckily this uber-sexy, scorching (and I mean SCORCHING) hot novella does the trick and hits all the right spots. Ladies, get your toys, lotions, gels, towels, the whole enchilada because you’re going to need it! This was my first read by this author, but there’s no way I’m going to miss out on anything else she writes. Especially if they all have a sexy plot that will plunge you into your most secret fantasies and leave you a moaning, panting mess at the end.
Fresh off a bad break up from her ex-boyfriend who accused her of being too controlling in the bedroom, Alexandra’s self confidence is non existent. She settles for watching the gorgeous hunk through his office windows in the building across the street. Her fantasies are wild and untamed. And then he catches her red handed, or red faced, I should say.
Andrew is rich, handsome, known for having dated a supermodel, very confident, a dominant and he wants Alexandra. And boy does he have her. Their chemistry jumps off the pages, slaps you in the face, curls your toes, fogs up your screen … you get the idea. Once Andrew gets his first taste of her, he’s not willing to let her go, but winning her over may be a bit more difficult than simply being able to deliver screaming orgasms.
Normally I’d label stories like these as “mptp” (more porn than plot), but this story had a little extra something. Not only that, but Ms Angel sure knows how to write sex scenes. They’re raw, carnal, explosive, very descriptive and the words tickle your nerves from head to toe. Don’t be surprised to find yourself breathing in time with the heroine.
For those who find the progression of their “relationship” unbelievable because of how fast they’re moving in the space of a few pages, I would have to disagree. Not only have they know of each other for some time before the story begins, but Alexandra is a (successful) career woman in her early thirties and Andrew is already set in life. All he wants and needs is a woman who isn’t afraid of commitment, marriage, children. It would seem that they’re a perfect match, and it comes across. Even when faced with a problem that could tear them apart, Andrew is relentless in his pursuit of her and lays his heart on the line.
Sex in public – yes.
Sex on a car – oh yes.
Hair pulling – yes.
Anal play – yes.
If you want a well-written erotic romance that you won’t soon forget, pick up this book! I highly recommend it.
My favorite parts:
Funny scene – involving a particularly stubborn pair of panty hose.

Alexandra has the best job ever. What does she do? I don’t know, it was some sort of accounting type job. That’s not why it’s the best. Her office location makes it the best. Because right across the way she can see right into the office of one Mr. Buff. And Mr. Buff likes to take a shower every day and walk around with his shirt off sometimes. And lately, Mr. Buff has noticed Alexandra staring, and they’ve begun waving.
And Mr Buff notices Alexandra, too.
This story started off innocently enough. I laughed at the author’s choice of names, like Mr Buff and Jerk-Off Jack. There are several points in the story that really made me laugh out loud. Ok, one in particular made me snort right through my nose! You can tell the author has a great sense of humor, it really comes through her writing well.
“His wicked grin turned the man from handsome to outright gorgeous when he waved back. Balling and holding papers in a death grip, she dropped her gaze. All she needed was for the man to think she had some kind of sick fetish for watching him.”
This story has a bit of a voyeurism aspect, obviously. It was really a fun way to introduce the two characters to each other. I found Alexandra to be funny and a bit smart ass, which I loved. But of course, the big draw of the story for me was Mr Buff, a man we will soon come to know as Andrew.
“Bitchy models and needy daddy’s girls exhausted him. A woman who knew her own mind, that’s what he wanted.”
Ok, let me just say it. Andrew is hot, obviously. But a little treat I wasn’t expecting was that Andrew was also oh so very dominant. He plays the dominant, aggressive male card to a T and it works perfectly. He's is definitely getting added to my list of favorite book boyfriends!

There were so many things in this book I could quote, it was one fabulous line after another. But lets face facts: when the action started I put my pen down and I didn’t pick it up again until the story was over. The heat in the story would have set my notepad on fire, I have no doubt about that. Holy heck! When these two get it on, they get it ON. Their chemistry was white hot fire, and I loved every minute of it. The characters were fun and engaging while the non-sex scenes were packed full of fun and drama, depending on the situation. The author’s writing has a really nice flow to it, and I am definitely an instant fan. If you are looking for a hot erotic romance, I think that you should definitely start with Mr. Buff!

My Review:
Simply put, this is one hot little erotica. I'll admit, it's not real heavy on story, but I didn't feel like it was lacking, and I am telling you...the erotic part of this erotica is good and sexy and HOT!
The set-up for this book is like every girl's fantasy. Imagine....every morning you get to watch a HOT guy get dressed after his workout. What a perfect way to start the day! This is how Alex starts her work days and she's pretty pleased with the fact, especially in view of the fact that her last boyfriend was a real jerk who did a number on her self-esteem. She's not so sure she wants to hit the dating pool again, so she is happy with just enjoying her office eye-candy, having no idea who Mr. Buff truly is.
On the other hand, Andrew has investigated who the sexy woman across from him is. He's been intrigued with her from day 1, but didn't want to poach on some other man's territory so he's stayed away....until he sees her alone in a club. Then things heat up really quickly, both emotionally and physically.
This book does move fast, but I found it pretty believable with where both of these people are in their lives. They've played and are now ready to settle down with something real. It was an interesting set-up for the story...and overall I liked it. There were a few minor things that I could get picky about, but I enjoyed the story enough to overlook them.

loved this book. Keeps your attention from page 1. I started with the thought of a suspense novel and was not let down. We all have that moment when you get the boyfriend that works on your pride. Good thing for Alex is she has a kickass cousin that always has her back. So when Alex meets her crush and they get together the fun begins. This story is awesome and I do love a Sexy hard working man so Andrew is definitely candy. You willenjoy this and want more while screaming what the heck just happened and Nooo

Oh My Goodness. How to review this book. 50% sex & 50% very good crazy story.
Not enough adjectives to describe this sex fuelled humorous farce.
Loved the actual story. It runs the gamut from the serious – murder, attempted murder, fraud, kidnapping, serial sex killers to the absolute most slapstick series of events featuring deranged, cannot accept NO, ex-girlfriends and ex-boyfriends. Moose accidents, pipe bombs and more.
What happens in the state park was so crazy funny.
In amongst all of the fast paced happenings is two main characters who cannot keep their hands of each other, a great best friend who deserves her own book and a wonderfully entertaining story.
I will be buying this book for the pure fun of reading it again.

The book description provides a pretty thorough summary of the story so I won't regurgitate it. Hence, here are my thoughts on Mr. Buff:
This is the second work of Ms. Angel that I've read & it's no surprise that I love her voice & writing style.
Alex and Andrew (Mr. Buff) were two people with an obvious and intense physical attraction to one another. Andrew was delicious and sexy as sin. Oh yes, and did I mention that he's a dominant in bed? Well, he is and you know what that means. Hot sex of course!
"Get on the bed." His voice had turned into a rough, stern command.
"How do you want me?"
Nose flaring, his dark eyes turned molten, and she realized how provocative her words sounded.
"On your back, legs spread open, arms wide above your head."
With vivid details and descriptions the sex scenes were hot, no doubt about it. This book's effect will make your body tingle and toes curl. Be sure to have an ice cold drink ready if you're planning on reading this ;-)
While I did enjoy this fun and erotic novella, the story was missing a spark for me. I felt that it needed that extra "oomph." It feel short on the plot and I couldn't really get a feel for the characters in the beginning. Not only that, but I felt that the chemistry was missing between them in the beginning although it did improve as the story progressed. Another thing was that everything that happened in the story felt a bit rushed which was another reason that brought down the rating for me.
Despite that, I still thought that this was still an enjoyable, steamy, and sexy fun read. For 97 pages, Mr. Buff was a delicious read to pass the time. For erotica readers looking for a quickie with sex hot enough to burst into flames, this one will not disappoint.

A short but seriously erotic read, Mr. Buff is one that you do not want to miss. Alexandra is a heroine all women can relate to. How many times have we noticed that seriously hot man across a crowded train, restaurant, or even through a window and fantasized about what if? Don’t lie, you know you have. Just like you know if you ever had the opportunity to speak and he showed a corresponding interest, you’d be on him like white on rice.
Alex has fantasized about the business man in the office building across from her but never had the nerve to so much as find out his name. Instead she’s nicknamed him Mr. Buff for that hard body she has the privilege of seeing first hand every morning from her office window. But she knows she doesn’t stand a chance. A man like that can have any woman he wants, so why would he settle for someone like her. Little does she know that Mr. Buff has noticed her and is more than interested in getting to know her a lot better. Mr. Buff by April Angel is the first book in her Sizzling Encounters series. Alexandra, a business professional, enjoys watching Andrew in his office across the alley. After watching each other for awhile, Andrew approaches Alexandra at a club and a hot romance follows.
Mr. Buff is a novella, just the type of story I love to read during lunch breaks, etc. I really enjoy April's writing style and absolutely loved this book. This is a keeper for me and have read several times since buying the book last year. Definitely recommend!!!

I can't believe that I hadn't wrote my review for this book yet.
I wish I could watch Mr. Buff everyday at work and watch him without any clothes and see him coming out of the shower all wet. I want a man to send me flowers and to be so into me. Just looking one time at me and knowing I am all he sees. I need to go take a cold shower after I read this.

This book is a short HOT read! It was great.

Mr Buff is the latest book from Milly Taiden. It follows Alexandra & Andrew of their wild ride to happily ever after.
Alexandra is working as a temp doing accounting & HR work & she really enjoys the view out her window. The window that overlooks the office of the man she calls Mr Buff. Alex can't resist watching for Mr Buff to get to his office after his workout. It's almost the best part of her day. But she doesn't realize that Mr Buff enjoys the view just as much.
When Andrew sees the woman from the window opposite his at his club, he knows he has to meet her. And when they do meet, they can't seem to keep their hands off each other. But then Andrew is accused of murder & it seems like somebody has it in for Alex. Can Alex clear Andrew's name & can Andrew save Alex from her would-be killer?
I wasn't sure what to think of this one at first. It seemed to be going in too many directions at once. Too many things happening too fast. Then I got to thinking. This reminded me of some of my favorite outrageously crazy tropes that I've read before. I realized this was going to be an over-the-top rollercoaster of a story & I was happy to go along for the ride. The heroes were likeable & the supporting characters were bigger than life, but oddly enough, they didn't overpower the main characters or steal the spotlight. The plot line had me turning the pages, wanting to know what happens but not wanting it to end. All in all, this is an outrageous story that's well worth the ride.

Deceptively innocent before the circus moves in. I completely enjoyed this literary romp through love story! Alex is a strong female character, who is like many women in many ways. When she was mentally beat down by a dude, she took a stand for herself and got stronger. I laughed at the window romance, and you could feel the heat amping up when Alex and Andrew finally get their poop in a group! Then, when you think it's all good, all of those strings that were laid out in the background of the first chapters start to get pulled in and the poop hits the fan, all these different antagonists come out to play and things have to get done. I will admit that I start to see Alex as a kind of modern day I love Lucy meets female Columbo meets Dexter, and if she had her own TV show, I'd definitely binge watch that puppy. Yes, the plot was a little bit different than Milly's other books, but this book IS different from a PNR, a huge difference from the Paranormal Dating Agency, so comparing this writing to them is just wrong. I loved that the author was able to play so much with her characters and give them scenarios that were so far fetched and piled on that you have to choice but to sit back and enjoy the ride. I loved this book for the calamities that just happen to Alex, for the characters that will stay in my head long after I move on to another book on my TBR list. You want to have some fun reading a book that will keep your interest? Then this is the book that you need to read!

Alex AKA Alexandra has finally turfed out the odious ex but not before he did a hatchet job on her self esteem. Her high point daily is watching the hottie in the adjacent building doing his fitness routine. But when a night with friends leads her directly to Mr Buff Aka Andrew Carter, her lovelife perks up.
Andrew is over superficial relationships. He wants something permanent and meaningful. His desire seems to come to life when the cutie he has been eyeing ends up in his club. After a tres hot introduction they soon find themselves hotly and heavily entwined. But can Alex get her self esteem in check before she lets Andrew get away?
But when an accounting error she highlighted to her boss, that was syphoning millions from the company, seems to put her in the cross hairs of someone out to get her, Andrew will do what he can to keep her safe. But Andrew himself seems to have a problems keeping safe!
Loved the guessing game of who the "baddie was - I lost to myself lol! The exes of Alex and Andrew were totally heaven to loathe, I loved a unredeemable character you can love to hate! The sex was of course out of this world hot, Andrew is a bit of a Dom and he gets Alex revved up!

Ok I think I've been reading too many of the shifters books of Ms. Taiden. I kept waiting for Andrew to shift or his pack members to arrive, etc. And I kept expecting that the book will end here or there...only for have something else come up again that delays the HEA.
Alex and Andrew have been ogling at each other from their respective buildings. It makes you wonder why no else can see them doing their antics. Alex has been deeply hurt but gives Andrew a chance. Despite knowing that of Alex, I can't imagine why she thought the worst of him when Leslie arrived. So quick to jump to conclusions. And then Alex has other troubles. And then Andrew had trouble. And then finally finally everything settled.
3 stars for this. There is no one threat, something new kept getting in the way that I thought the book would never end. The story kinda felt like it was all over the place, not something I'm used to with this author.
Next book please!

But things lighten up when Alex gets to play eye tag with the hottie in the office across from hers.

The sexual tension is intense.
How could Alex resist Mr. Buff?
She can't.
The tides turn for Alex when she discovers a huge financial discrepancy at work.
Of course she does the right thing and notifies the owner.
And here's where all the problems start.

I love the beginning of the book and the interplay between Mr. Buff (Andrew Carter) and Alexandra via seeing each other through their office windows. Things go from attraction to downright on fire when they bump into each other at a club.
Alexandra finds a huge payroll discrepancy and now has someone trying to kill her. After a bomb explodes in her office, she decides to get away to a cabin and this is where I became confused. Four people show up to kill Alexandra!!!
One was mauled by an animal, two get kind of hot and heavy with each other and leave and the last one Andrew is framed for killing.
Alexandra spends the remainder of the book trying to prove Andrew is innocent.
I love Milly Taiden and look forward to reading more from her!

LOVED! Ok, I read the original and then this revised.. expanded.. re-release version and it is so much more than the original. More? More what? More everything...from story to heat to who done it. I enjoyed it so much more. There were several events that just kept me on the edge of my seat going what the heck. Alexandra and Andrew eye each other from afar for a while. She knows who she is but she does not know him. Only that she sees him shirtless every morning and drools over him. After her ex did a number on her, Andrew needs to work it to prove he is not like that lying, cheating, a$$.
Loved the HEA and the journey to get there.

This book starts off great (after the breakup scene that it) - hot, hunky man that the newly single Alex is lusting after from afar suddenly becomes accessible after a night in the club. Loved the steamy scenes with a definite side of dominance! Then it the mystery part of the story sort of took over and veered into a place I was definitely NOT expecting. The hot and steamy romance took a sharp turn into a kooky comedy of errors with a murder plot. I would have rather had the hot romance than the odd murder plot it developed into. Just didn't sit well with me and left me rolling my eyes. However you might get a kick out of it so give it a try for yourself if you think this sounds like it would be 'up your alley'!!

I read the original so was really excited to see where she went with this new expanded edition. She did a great job with it, that’s for sure. Alexandra has been watching the view out of her window and into the window in the building across from her. Boy, was that a sight to see. He was so sexy but he was safe because she would never get to meet him. Until the night that she did meet him. This book is full of hot sex and also has some nice adventure to go along with it. This was a really good book and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a little adventure in their life.
