I finished reading it but didnt find any proper adjective to describe this book. It was unputdownable. However, i disagree with few points mentioned in last chapter that "hum sub khuda k bachy hain " .... besides this some of its chapters should be included in course books.
It was the first complete novel I read. At the time, I was in the 5th standard. The book was beautifully written, quite engaging, and featured many short stories based on the afterlife.
