I have lived in Droylsden, Manchester, all my life. I live with my parents, my younger sister, Cheryl, and her little girl, Faith.

I never knew what I wanted to do with my life until I began writing. This is my dream. I get most of my inspiration from music. I’ll sit listening to it and suddenly I’m no longer in the room. My stories play like movies in my mind, then I go and write them down.

I'm a very dark person. I love anything spooky, supernatural, or unexplainable, and so that’s the genre I want to write in for the rest of my life.
I work as a freelance graphic artist. I have created covers for my own novels, self published authors, World Castle Publications and Sizzler Editions. I will also be creating the covers for Empire Voices audiobooks.

Scary films are a true love of mine, although I find it very hard to find one these days that actually frightens me. My favourite story of all time is Bram Stoker's, Dracula. The movie is equally as amazing.

I have had a love of photography from being a child. I have literally thousands of photographs which I have taken over the years. Now, I have a professional DSLR camera and I'm looking to do photography as well as my graphics as a sideline project.

I have a blog site and website where you can find out more information. Please visit me at either...

I often find with short stories that they don’t give enough information, the characters feel two dimensional and the stories feel like they build up to a rushed ending. Not so with this novella. Our main character Rayne is fully rounded. We are given information about her background, can feel the emotional place she is in right now as we follow her through this, her latest ordeal, and it all winds up to a fitting end.

I have read three books by this author before and have to say this is, by far, her best work. It is clear that she has taken on board reader feedback for her previous novels, worked hard to improve her writing skills, and succeeded!

If you are looking for an interesting quick read with likable characters and a couple who are clearly in love, this is definitely worth your time.

I was honoured to be given an ARC of this book for review. Thank you

I don't typically read short stories, I usually find them lacking any actual story and end up leaving disappointed. I figured my disappointment is due to the author not being able to create a backstory and give the characters more depth, you end up feeling rushed and almost cheated of something that could have been amazing if it only had been a bit longer. I am so glad that I gave this story a chance because it surprised me with how good this was.

This was so well done, yes it was a very quick read but honestly, that doesn't matter. The writing is amazing, I was hooked right away and never once felt anything was lacking. The characters are likable and well-developed, there are books way longer than this that have failed miserably with character building.

I honestly do not have anything negative to say regarding this book. This is why this gets a 5-star rating from me, which lately has been hard to get but I honestly believe Lindsay Anne Kendal deserves so much more. This was my first introduction to this author and due to this being such a fantastic read, I can honestly say I will be checking out more books by this author.

I haven't been on Goodreads for around a year. I know that's shocking. I really need to catch up on my reviews. I've read so many books lately, some great - some awful. I'm glad to say this is one of the better ones.

I began following this author after reading the Bloodlines Books. I love her writing style and I believe she is growing her talents.

This is a short read but very exciting. It keeps you hooked from the first page. Normally I find characters in short stories have very little personality. This was not the case here. I love the characters, the love between Rayne and Kyle and how it shows that people are not always what they seem.

Beautifully told, exciting and interesting. I'm looking forward to the second part of this mini series.

This story is awesome. It's a quick and enjoyable read, and keeps you glued to the pages.

Rayne is plagued by nightmares stemming from a terrible incident when she was younger. Her unspoken feelings cause her nightmares to take on a life of their own and her, her lover and friends must do what they can to save her from a fate she doesn't deserve.

I love this author, she is becoming one of my favorites.
