This year is the 12-Year Anniversary of the first time I published in my Tall, Dark, and Deadly series (or as some of you may know it: Walker Security).
That means Special Edition Hardbacks of the first three books—the original three Walker Brothers: Hot Secrets (Royce), Dangerous Secrets (Luke), and Beneath the Secrets (Blake) are coming! Blake is the broken brother. Shattered by the death of his finance by the cartel that he blames himself for. He has sworn that he will bring this cartel down and doesn't care if it brings him down too. With nothing to lose he hides his investigation from his brothers who he knows would stop him. When trying to get in deeper with the cartel he winds up naked, drugged with his merchandise stolen by the woman who was supposed to be his contact. He finds himself facing her again only a few days after their last encounter, she is definitely more than she seems.
Another of the hot Walker men finds a woman who can crack the hard outer shell that they seem to have build up around themselves. After breaking through this shell Blake finds himself facing not only his own insecurities and emotions but also the strong determined woman who won't allow him to sacrifice himself.
Another good edition to the Tall Dark & Deadly series. I like that the women are strong, determined and smart, not in any way weak or terrified shrinking violets. A fun quick, mind candy story.

Gets better and better…
The story continues as Part 3 opens with a blast. Blake knows Kara’s secret and is determined to get her to admit her truths. The tension between them is electric. As much as they try to keep their control and distance from each other their need for each other is their undoing. I love it! Lisa Renee Jones again has me enrapt in this storyline. Kara’s true identity will plunge Blake into the ghosts that haunt him, can he survive? She is his weakness and will be his savior whether he wants her to be or not but there are forces working against them. I look forward to the next installment, the conclusion though I really don’t want this story to end. It’s too good.

I loved this installment, just one to go now I think! The story's heating up! Blake knows who Kara is and she knows who he is, plus he's had to call in his big brothers Royce and Luke, so they now know what he's been up to and aren't happy about it!
We learnt more about Kara's background and why she's after Alvarez and we finally got more of the story behind Whitney's murder, in past books it's always been left at her being killed on the case and Blake being too late but we learnt a little more in this installment of Blakes book.
I can't wait for the next installment as it looks like they're finally getting a shot at Alvarez and I can't wait to know what happens!

The action is hotting up, things are becoming more dangerous and emotions are running high..
The pair still have trust issues and demons of their own to deal with and overcome!
As ever, LRJ has left us with another cliff-hanger!!!! Should be used to it by now..... ;-)
Looking forward to the end of the month and the final instalment of Blake & Kara's story

Oh Blake!!! This is a great continuation of the story!!! Blake and Kara are feeling more for each other and can't hold back any longer. Blake discovers Kara's true identity and her intentions with the cartel!! I love the progression of their relationship in the story. They are both broken and lost. I was glad to see Blake admit his feelings for Kara and reveal a little bit of himself to her. The danger level is super high!! Plus we get to see the other hottie Walker brothers: Royce and Luke!! I can't wait for the next book!!

I love this series, so much drama in only 7 chapters. Kara and Blake are finally realizing they were meant to be. But Blake keeps pushing Kara away which makes her more determined. He should know better. I can't wait till April 30th so I can know the ending.

Ultimately, the entire book Beneath The Secrets will be a five star book!! Unfortunately they are separated by sections but love, love, love this book!!! Definitely love how feisty Kara is...you go girl!!! Reminds me of someone I know. ;-)

The last past just ended too abruptly. I wished the ending was better however, I'm excited to know there's gonna be more to this series. Seriously can't wait...

I read the entire Beneath the Secrets box set. It is the story of Blake and Kara. I really did enjoy this Tall, Dark and Deadly series. The Walker brothers are GREAT! The Blake and Kara story had them coming together against a drug cartel - the mystery/suspense and romance is great.

This book just gets better and better. Lisa Renee Jones is a master story teller. This is a must read book series!

This story is great and im gad that Blake is starting to fall for someone like Kara, He lost to much when he lost Whitney and he needs to finally be happy and Kara needs him to with everything she went through, Now on to Part 4 and cant wait

Best one in this series yet. Blake and Kara are great characters, but it's hard to stay engaged in the book when they are short snippets released a month or more apart.
