Great Endgame…

This is part 4 of the story which picks up where part 3 left off. Together Blake and Kara along with the Walker brothers continue the search for Kara’s sister and the man who killed Blake’s fiancé years ago. Both are haunted by their pasts which they must face and share with each other to physically survive and have a future as a couple. There is no denying the chemistry these two have, the love they feel for each other but can they come to terms with their pasts? The suspense is palpable as Blake and Kara get further into the Cartel and closer to their goals. But all is not always as it seems as the double twist ending reveals which this reader never saw coming and loved. Lisa Renee Jones writes fantastic romantic suspense. You can’t help but get invested in her characters. I enjoyed these serials and look forward to future stories in this series.

Oh how I love Blake and all the Walker brothers!! Kara and Blake find themselves in a very dangerous situation, but everything has changed because of what they feel for each other. Kara wants to get her sister back and Blake is determined to keep Kara alive!! Wow talk about tension. The story picks up right after the last installment and we see the pair fighting for their feelings and possibly their lives. I loved how Blake has changed throughout the series since falling in love with Kara- he now has a reason to live. Kara realizes that Blake is it for her and knows she has to let Walker Security find her sister. The only downfall was that it was to short!! I want more Blake and Kara :( That said I can't wait for Kyle and Myla's story!

So Book 4 was the end of this series but of course Lisa left it open in case she wants to write more in the future.

Blake and Kara have this intense chemisty throughout the book and I am glad to see that Blake finally embrasses his feelings. I loved the interaction with the Royce and Luke - those Walker Brothers always have each others back.
I also caught at the end that Lisa wrote that we will get to see Blake in the Inside Out Trilogy - I loved the first book in that series and can not wait to see how she brings Blake into the next book in that series.

After waiting a while for the conclusion of this story, I was kind of disappointed by this book. I didn't really like how it was split into 4 different books, I would have rather waited and just had one book. I guess I am just different than other people. And then towards the end, it felt kind of rushed...without going into too much detail and giving it away, I just thought it built up suspense for a long time and left me kind of hanging. I'm happy this series is going to continue, but I wish Blake and Kara's story would have wrapped up better than it did.

I love that the end of this set up for another book in the series, this time moving to the Walker brothers team of employees! I love how this last installment ended, I mean I wish Blake had gotten the revenge he wanted and that Kara had a proper resolution but I'm happy that Kyle is getting a book! I've enjoyed this story and the whole series to date! Blake deserved to find someone who could set him back on track and start him healing from the loss of Whitney!

At times I have really struggled with these books, partly because it was split into 4 parts which I found annoying and partly because not much happaned in the way of suspense apart from part 3 where Blake meets Alvarez for the first time, this last part especially was a real let down for me. I was really expecting it to end with a bang but it was more of a fizz and I can only hope that Kyles story is released as a whole novel and that it is full of the suspense this one lacked.

I love beneath the secrets series. I was really waiting on part 4 b/c of the end. But I was kind of let down by the end. The end was not finished. Blake wanted to take down Alvarez this ENITIRE series and still wasn’t taken down. And he still got away with Kara’s sister Myla. But I guess it set up for Kyle and Myla’s story which I am excited for.

I can't find a stupid copy of part 4 for my ereader. Argh, KOBO has 1-3 with 3 twice and IBook only has part 2. I would like the finish the series. I don't have kindle. I could use my antique Sony ereader if need be. If anyone know beside Amazon where I can purchase a copy of part 4 it would be appreciated

I like all of the parts of the story. My only complaint is that is wasn't written as one novel. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I could have read all the parts without so much time between releases. But I like Lisa's writing and will definitely read what's next.

Great book overall! I think another chapter should've been in the works but looking forward to reading about Kyle and Myla. Blake & Kara do get married as he is referenced in "Being Me" by Lisa Renee Jones. :)

Well I will be damn. I was so on edge and now I want more. So Kyle is the next to have a story for the sake of Myla. I am happy for Blake and Kara and him showing his love for her. The technique was flawless and Lisa never lets me down. I am awaiting the next one now.

Loved Blake's story! However, I hate how it was spread over four short books! Why not make it one book like the others? I don't get it! Overall the serious was really good! I didn't like the first couple books as much, but Luke and Blake's stories I really liked! Can't wait for Kyle's story!

I did enjoy reading Blake's story, but not as much as the other Walker brothers. The splitting into parts just didn't do it for me! Love how they've led into Kyle's story too.
Good solid characters, with we'll written plots. Highly recommended.

I read the entire Beneath the Secrets box set. It is the story of Blake and Kara. I really did enjoy this Tall, Dark and Deadly series. The Walker brothers are GREAT! The Blake and Kara story had them coming together against a drug cartel - the mystery/suspense and romance is great.

Giving something you hold on to for a long time can come out for the best. Blake finds what he need and its not what he always thought.

More of the same with no resolution. Dare I read the next installment or quit now? I keep hoping it will get better...it doesn't get worse, just continues along a path of poor editing and repetition. Great idea for a series but falls flat.

I really liked this series but would have enjoyed Blake's story more if it had been one book instead of may little books. I had to re-read the previous books to figure out where I was.
