Children's Book. Gru used to be one of the most villainous villains in the world. He and his army of Minions even stole the moon! But when he adopted Margo, Edith, and Agnes, Gru became a dad. Instead of stealing landmarks, he makes pancakes, blows up unicorn balloons, and dresses like a fairy princess! Little does this dad know, though, he's about to make another career change--as a spy for the Anti-Villain League...
This book is very entertaining and good for a little laugh and usually I don't laugh at books.
Gru used to be an evil villain but he fell in love with his girls Margo, Edith and Agnes and they change his life. This is a great story to lead on from that.
Now that I have read Despicable Me 2 which was written by Annie Auerbach I feel like I won't have to watch the movie. This book illustrated everything so well, and just with the words you could picture it in your head. I love this book because it was funny, had some romance, and that it had evil mixed in with all of it. Gru is given a new job offer and after refusing it the first time, he accept. He gets a new partner, Lucy, who he thinks he hates but ends up getting married to. The case is to find this serum and dispose of it, but they find a lot more than that. Read the book to find out what happens to the girls, Lucy, Gru, and the minions.
Despicable me 2 is just like the movie. Gru works with the anti villain league to stop a villain who is trying to take over the world. They find the Gillian working in the mall. Margo falls in love as well as gru. Agnes turns six years old and they become a higher family. Dr nefario quits working for gru and starts working for the villain only to go back to gru by the end of the novel. It was very funny and of course the girls are the cutest!
I read this book when I was 7 or 8. I loved Despicable Me 2 when I saw it, so the novel wa just as good. But somehow, I enjoyed this book more than I enjoyed the movie. It was just that good.
No longer a supervillain, Gru spends his time making the lives of his three daughters as wondrous as possible, until a spy agency asks him to help track down a criminal, teaming him up with newcomer Lucy as the minions begin vanishing...Auerbach provides fans an entertaining novelization of the heartwarming film from Illumination Entertainment. Can Gru prove himself to the good guys, or is his fatherhood going to end before it can truly begin?
