I read this introductory philosophy textbook when I was trying to determine whether or not I was certain I wanted to go back to school to get my MA and then hopefully later my Ph.D in philosophy. This book helped me to feel more comfortable with doing that while giving me a solid understanding of most introductory concepts in the field I've chosen. For that reason, this book will always be important to me.
