Yummy!

Had a lot more world & character build.

Have really come to connect with the characters.
Elizabeth has proven to be a very intelligent young lady.
Richard has proved himself to be smart & appreciates her intelligence.

Now the suspense has been kicked up quite a few notches.
I love a good suspense & this incident has been built in properly.

This one has a bit of crime suspense that adds texture to the story.

There is also more substance to the characters.

The last half is a suspense as enemies of both Elizabeth & Richard work together to create dangerous problems for our mc's.

I found a couple of editing errors.

Not my favorite of this serial.
It starts off with the suspense where the last 'part' ended.
Unfortunately the 'action' and dialogue of the characters was stilted and jumpy.

It also jumps from the suspense to the 'Romantic' scene in a way that confused me.
I didn't realize it had leapt into the future by at least a few days or more.
Had me scratching my head.

The erotic steam is a lot lower key than in the previous parts of this serial.

I found a couple of errors in this one.

So it was just okay.

Rhapsody of Pleasure

4.5 stars - These steamy shorts take about thirty minutes each to read and they are undeniably steamy. Truly high heat! Beth and Richard's chemistry grows stronger and hotter with each story.

This set of installments adds suspense and some darkness to the kinky fun. Part Ten has some triggers.

One thing to expect: these are short stories so there are time gaps and timelines are often accelerated. I struggled with the last time hop the most. I really hope that there's an explanation in a coming story. Yes, Beth gets her Cinderella dream with plenty of steam, but their story is just beginning.

This series should be read in order as each installment builds off of the prior one.

I continue to enjoy these quick reads (which really should be read in order). This one ends with a cliffhanger, but is full of high heat. So good. 🔥😘🔗💥🏏

I am trying, unsuccessfully, not to giggle as, while I hang around my Master’s shoulders and waist, he unbelts and unzips, releasing his cock, already standing hard and stiff. I love the heat these two generate and Richard's protectiveness. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop someone from trying to rain on their parade, which leaves us with a cliffhanger.


The Master's Revenge 🌟🌟🌟🌟 .5 - Heads Roll
4.5 stars - Another great addition! The first half of this installment is quite the nail biter as darkness seeps into a day that should be filled with joy. Beware of triggers.

Beth: “What are you going to do?”

Richard: “Find out what you Something Blue is.”

This is one example of the playfulness they share, endearing them to me even more. The extreme sizzle doesn't hurt their cause. 😄🔥💥

Heads rolling has three different interpretations. You'll have to figure them out yourself. 😉

There is a big gap in time that I'm hoping will be explained in the next book. It's kinda driving me crazy, despite all I know about the future of the Haswells. Yes, a new name doesn't put an end to Beth's (and Richard's) story.


I read these as part of the Bought by the Billionaire Box Set collection. You really shouldn't read this without reading the prior installments.

I am enjoying the books by Simone Leigh. These are short stories but luckily I was able to get them in a box set so I didn't have to wait for the next release.

I like this current Cinderella story. I am connecting with the mc's and I love that Elizabeth is smart and educated. The author knows how to describe a scene and feelings. I could tell that Richard deeply cared for Elizabeth before he even said it. There was a little suspense in the books and I think if the author would have drawn the scenes out a little longer it would have made for a better read. I agree with another review when he states "...the story was put together in such a rush very near the end." One moment Elizabeth was going through a traumatic event and the next Richard and Elizabeth were engaging in sex.

I'll keep reading the series but I think I need a little longer read first.

I loved the ending to Richard and Elizabeth's love story. They had to deal with villains and Richard wanted to protect Elizabeth very badly. I could tell that he was falling for her, even though he kept trying to force himself to stay distant. He did everything he could think of to keep Elizabeth safe and end the end, they caught the villains. This box set was steamy, kinky, and exciting with the danger and anticipation it evoked. Great series, and I know that Elizabeth and Richard get more involved wtih Charlotte's story in the future so we get to see them more. I'm so excited and can't wait to read more about this whole family and group.

I don’t know why I just couldn’t get into these two. Yeah the sex is hot but it just doesn’t have that spark. Their chemistry isn’t there and the insert of drama just seems so predictable. It didn’t even give me an oh no moment. The H just doesn’t have the oh my Dom mystic.

Richard and Elizabeth’s story continues in volume 2 where she is now part of his business and they continue to uplevel their personal relationship. If you look kinky erotic play mixed with the bdsm master and sub vibe, you’ll love this story. Mack is still being a pain in the behind (read volume 1 if you have no idea what I’m talking about) and I love how Richard’s character grows in this box set. This story is fast paced and a quick read. I could not put it down and I love love loved the ending! Good read with a nice wrap-up!

Well we knew that Elizabeth and Richard would have to go through some more trials before they journey in this series would end. But I am sure that Elizabeth would have prefer to have gone without some of them. But their journey will continue in other books.

Literally binged this in one day!!
Short and Spicy, the second instalment of Bought by the billionaire was luxurious and dramatic. Loved the dynamic between the Richard and Elizabeth - the protectiveness, dominance and aftercare cuddles.

As Well as the DRAMA, as their relationship is thwarted...

The Spicy scenes are really the focus of this one and are so artfully crafted. The attention to detail and research are definitely not missed! I love that their passion and that their chemistry is the main focus of the plot.

Can't wait to read more and will definitely be checking out some of Simone's other reads as well!

If Classy Spice is what you are after, you will love this!

Elizabeth is doing well in her roll as an intern for Richard’s company. They are also definitely enjoying each other’s company after meeting in a most unconventional way. Elizabeth finally tells him about feeling like Mack is following her. When she’s attacked in her own apartment by Mack it throws everyone. Richard had to admit his feelings for her. Their relationship has advanced when more drama happens. They finally get their HEA at the end!

Like the prior books/box set in the series, this is a very good read. The box set is quite short, but what is there contains the right balance of storyline and hot & steamy sex.

The only real negative I had/have, is that the story was put together in such as rush very near the end. I'll try not to spoil it for other readers, but Beth had just been reclaimed from a traumatic event then, after only a dividing scene line, within two dozen lines she was face-down, butt-up with a wedding dress raised!

No mention of other activities in between. (I thought "What happened there?" Made me think that Richard had taken advantage of Beth still being in shock, so he dropped by to pick up a dress and pulled up in front of the Registrary Office.)

Okay, there was one other item that through me a curve ball for a short moment, but it does prove that authors also have a sense of humour regardless of their genre. Considering the material/genre that Simone writes, the very last sentence almost made me choke on me cuppa! Thankfully, in the next page, Simone offered a kind of an apology and explanation.

Even though, at the start of the box set, it claims that this is the last of the series I'm led to believe there's another couple of books to add on.

Like this author's other books, excellent erotica. Highly recommended.

... a fitting end to the series

I loved the first series and this series didn't disappoint. Still as lusty and kinky but with other business that shows the depth of the characters. The bad gal and guy get their comeuppance and Elizabeth and her Master get their HEA. I had a tearful moment as Richard talked to Elizabeth about their lives together and their age difference ... that was a beautiful sentiment and so sad.

The continuing story or Elizabeth and Richard. There are shifts in their relationship, but a problem from the first series read its head and puts Elizabeth in danger. Still plenty of hotness and very enjoyable.

This was a great continuation of the first 6 Bought by the Billionaire stories and they pick up right where the first box set leaves off.

What I really love about these stories is that they are so easy to read and despite the fact that each chapter was initially meant to be a short novella (or at least what I think they were anyway based on the way they are written and combined together) they all flow easily and seamlessly together that you never feel like you are missing out on anything that previously happened because it will be talked about in the next "Chapter".

These stories really do a great job of developing the relationship between Elizabeth and Richard and the evolution of their feelings for each other all while keeping the spice alive. I also really loved that this set of stories also had some drama and tension all mixed into the spice and relationship building. There were moments that were tense and Elizabeth found herself in situations that she may never have anticipated finding herself in (especially near the end) and all of that was written well with the growth of the relationship.

This is another very easy read with great character building and suspense that keeps you engaged throughout. Highly recommend this series!

Bought by the Billionaire Box Set 2 is a collection of four short stories that are quick and spicy. Simone Leigh does a great job of progressing the story at a quick pace without losing the reader's connection to the characters. Each short story develops more of the plot without taking away the erotic scenes. These are described by the author as "coffee break erotica" reads, which is all the time it takes to read each installment. These stories are such easy and quick reads and the author sure does pack a lot into them.

In this series, we pick up right where we left off with Elizabeth,and her Master. They are working on closing a huge business deal and Richard asks Elizabeth to be more involved in the business end of things. The past comes back to haunt them and Elizabeth finds herself in a bit of trouble and waits for her knight in shining armor to rescue her. These stories do time jump a little bit more than the previous ones and the final jump of the book left me a little confused, something that I hope will be resolved in the next one. There are still plenty of hot, steamy, spicy BDSM scenes to keep you sated. I can't wait to see where the story progresses next as Elizabeth and Richard start this new chapter in their lives.

This is the second set in the series. It picks up where the first left off. We actually see a little more of Eluzabeth in the business world. For example, Richard, impressed with Elizabeth's intuition, has her sit in on a business meeting. She once again impresses him and is able to seal the deal.
We also get to see more of the woman Richard was going to meet the night he found Elizabeth in his shower. Without spoiling the story, I will only say that the meeting goes about as expected. We also find out what happens with the man Elizabeth got fired.
The Master/Sub relationship continues to grow stronger and Elizabeth finds herself falling in love with Richard. Fortunately for her, it's not a deal breaker for him and their relationship remains strong in spite of this.
The book continues to be an easy read and it is masterfully done. It is a good look into a D/S relationship and how, for many, they can flourish in that type of arrangement. I would most highly recommend the whole series.

Richard and Elizabeth's relationship is going really well and she loves the way her Master treats her. She is in love with her Master but he says he cares for her and lust but not love.

Elizabeth loves working with Richard and he does ask for her opinion to see what she says about things, Elizabeth tells Richard about Mack following her and she says she need to tell him if it happens again, When Richard leaves he's forgets his briefcase when the door goes she thinks it Richard but it is not it is Mack, she comes in and start to strangle her but luckily Richard comes back and stops it.

Richard tells Elizabeth he loves her after what happened as it made him realise how he feels.

But it seems everything is trying to break them apart like Mack and Richards ex, will they get the happy ending they want

Yes Master

Box set two continues picks up right where one left off. Elizabeth and her master are becoming far more familiar with each other in ways other than the bedroom. She’s falling in love with him, but where does that leave their arrangement. Elizabeth is also becoming more business savvy and helps solidify a large business deal, pleasing her master in more ways than one. But the past is catching up to them in the form of a jilted lover and a fired employee. Both are trying to bring Richard to his knees by destroying Elizabeth.

Box set two brings in a stronger plot with more action. And the spicy BDSM play is almost too hot to handle! Their chemistry is the bedroom is worship worthy filled with Elizabeth’s unabashed want for her master and her masters enthusiasm to bring them both nothing but pure pleasure.

But will they get rid of the contract and put their hearts in the mix or will they both pull back and keep it all about the money in the end.

Richard loves Elizabeth

I knew it! He tries to remain distant but cannot help his attraction to the explosive connection they share. When Richard changed her apartment I knew he wanted her, to protect her and provide for her. Gradually he gave in to his feelings. He encouraged her to continue her education, which I love. She wasn't just his submissive or girlfriend or plaything. He moved her in, told her he loved her, and married her. Never judge a book by its cover. Richard rocked her world!

Built the relationship into an inferno

Elizabeth, a hotel maid, is now working for Richard, billionaire CEO, as an intern and has an agreement with him for a more personal relationship. As the story progresses an attack leaves her shaken, her feelings awaken, and sharing the with him could cause her to be forsaken. Bought by the Billionaire Books 7-10 built the relationship into an inferno. Elizabeth has every right to be scared of Richard’s response, but she may just be worrying over nothing.

Quick read today and oof that was steamy! 🥵

I was furious at Adele for being an envious bee-yotch but I guess I get it. I would want Richard for myself too and Elizabeth was definitely the luckiest girl ever.

I enjoyed the progression of Richard and Elizabeth’s relationship but I wish there’s at least one chapter in Richard’s POV! It was difficult to truly read his mind and his feelings. I wanted a glimpse of what he thought of Elizabeth and how fell for her even for a moment.

Simone Leigh ought to be charged with theft! This box set simply stole my breath away!! The BDSM love affair of Richard and Elizabeth has yet again burned my Kindle. In this second box set Richard has finally admitted to emotions that weren't suppose to be apart of the contract. Along the way nefarious elements want to smash their union apart. You will find a breathless adventure and a lot of loving segments to melt you into a hot puddle. I highly recommend this jaw dropping book. FIVE STARS +

Its ok

So let's start with the good. It held my attention enough to read it to the end. There were a lot of " erotic " scenes. Plus it was only a dollar!!!

So the bad. Those scenes that I mentioned well, they started get predictable on what the guy was going to do. The story just seem to be missing something. There were parts that I could of gotten really into but it fell flat. I really think it had a lot of potential but for me just wasn't the one.

Love that these are quick reads that you can do on a lunch break or waiting for an appointment or get so into it, you read them all in one sitting like I did!
Plenty of steamy, yummy, dominate hotness as well as knowing a real relationship is continuing to grow. While there is tons of hot moments, there is still a great plot and I really enjoy the storytelling and that there is more books to further the story even more. looking forward to reading the next installment!

The series concludes with these four books. Elizabeth and Master Richard deal with things happening on many fronts, workwise and private. She can not even go shopping without something happening with Adele. Strong characters, entertaining situations, revelations, protectiveness, growing closer and more. Great ending that brings it all home.

I have read sets 1-6, which is the information and introduction of characters. How they are introduced, where they come from, and things of that nature.

The Master Series Box Set 2 is the continuation of it. This digs deeper into the characters and the life that they lead. Elizabeth is now married to Richard, her Master. There are twists and turns and villains in this story and it will leave you gasping.

I look FORWARD to reading the next installment.
