About the author

Miel Rose is a rural, working class femme who was raised by hippies in the wilds of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. She is crafty in multiple senses of the word, being both a witch and a lady who loves to work creatively with her hands. She is a textile artist, smut writer, hairdresser, magic skills teacher, and healer, among other things. She currently resides in Northampton, Ma with her canine life partner, Poozy.

Miel Rose writes from a femme perspective with an intensity and authority I've seldom seen from another author. I've read her work in various anthologies, and I was glad to see this collection of her own work.
