As New York Times bestselling author Beth Kery’s novel continues, Lucien and Elise’s bond of sensual domination and submission reaches a white-hot level—one that threatens to burn out of control and take Lucien down with it…
When I’m With You, Part IV When I’m Bad
Lucien knows there’s no going back now—Elise is not a woman a man takes in half measure. It’s all or nothing. In moving forward to make her his—completely—he promises that if she submits she’ll discover what she craves too. The kind of sharp, imperative edge of pleasure she’s never truly known before.
But Elise proves to be such a wild, fiery, and sexually fearsome woman that Lucien wonders if she can ever really surrender to him. When she does let loose, Lucien fears that he is the one getting closer to being burned. As the two of them get deeper into a dangerous sexual dance, Lucien can’t help but wonder if the exquisite firestorm that Elise has ignited could expose his secrets, draw him dangerously close to the edge, and leave his future in ashes.
Beth Kery is the New York Times and USA Today best selling author of over thirty novels, novellas and serials. She writes contemporary romances as well as erotic contemporary romances, her hallmarks being emotional intensity, leap-off-the-page realistic characters and steamy sexual tension.
I'm not sure why, but When I'm Bad was way too short, in my option. I'm optimistic that Ms. Kery could have added more to these 2 chapters. Thankfully it was juicy.
It amazes me how eagered Elise is to please Lucien despite her being inexperience. I'm also intrigued how with the passing of time their relationship trust for each other has not progressed. " ...I’m going to teach you to let go and relax . . . to begin to train you to my hand.” No choice but to accept what I give you. Train you to my hand.
I honestly don't think Lucien realized the patience he was going to need when taking on the task of gaining Elise's submission. She enjoys, even goes out of her way to finds ways to rebel. I've just chalked that up to the ignorance caused by her upbringing.
" His condominium was everything Elise expected it to be, given it was Lucien’s lair—sensual, rich, masculine décor set within the ideal backdrop of the lake facing the east, and the labyrinth of sparkling high-rises to the north and the west. Of course, since it was Lucien, he was on the top floor of the building, occupying the premier penthouse" -
I also feel I need to put it out that I'm so over the alpha male living on the top floor of some jaw panty dropping penthouse.
■ save her life ■massage her ■put her to sleep every night to kill insomia ■give her the guest room ■help her in her trainning ■buy her a mare ■save her life again ■then be the first love of her life

A really sexy, steamy, and erotic book. Again as with the first book with all the sex toys and the manner they are used to full fill a couples complete satisfaction. I mean this woman had at least 5 or more orgasms and she still is ready to please her man SOME MORE. I wish I was Elise but with all her stamina and strength plus more. The male character, Lucien is one really gorgeous man with a sexy french accent. He is also a bit of a Superman in bed. All I needed was for the Superman and Superwoman costumes to come off before preceding with all the love making.
Still a really good plot and worth the time. Do not wish to give it away it is a doozie.
I see that this book was at one time broken into novellas. I am glad I am reading this now and not then. I would have been suffering waiting for the next book to be released. I have all three books here with me now and ready to read and get to the end of the story.
Each Installment just get's better and better! Finally Lucien found out that Elise has no money and is living in a shit hole- Whew. Now this installment he finds out her other secret that she's virgin- Finally. Lucien does have a habit of not paying much attention to Elise even know he may be thinking about her he lack in showing her. This leads to Elise being bad which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
