From the cover:There are already several amazing reviews of this book, so I'm not going to say much more except that if you want stories about our heroic men and women in the military, and would enjoy seeing the real lives that so many come home to, then I truly do believe you'll love this series.
John Palmer hasn’t felt like a real man since he was injured during combat in Iraq. Though not content with his new life, he is mostly adapting, just like the other vets at the Lost ‘N’ Found Investigative Service. When Shannon Murphy is hired on as the new office manager, life suddenly gets a lot more interesting. Before long, John finds himself wondering if he could ever be the kind of man Shannon needs.

Shannon was a good heroine as well...until she got on my nerves. Like I said, she was sweet and caring and I loved that she didn't care that John was paralyzed but, ugh, could she be annoying! She cried or teared up all the fucking time.![]()
I did not feel their connection, I found their relationship not developed enough and I just felt nothing for them. Sure, they could be cute and all but nothing special. I do like when the main characters are not rushed together but I don't like when it takes more than half the book for them to do something about it. I was bored at times, lucky me, it wasn't a long read.![]()
