So I feel a little guilty for the review I'm about to give, since I got this as a freebie in exchange for a review. However, the review is supposed to be honest, so here goes.
This is a terrible book. First and foremost it is crying out for a decent editor. The punctuation and grammar is horrifying. Also, when characters start speaking another language (which, side note, you may wanna trim so that the reader doesn't feel the need to google translate the page) it really should be italicised. There was also the mention of something 'chic' when I'm pretty sure it was supposed to say 'chick'.
The novel starts out as potentially interesting; she's interning at a lab and popping some secret recipe pills on the side so typical superhero formula beginning. But then we meet The Boy, and all sense of a plot is lost amongst the cliche tender embraces and passionate kisses. I could not stop cringing. It seems like it was written by an angsty sixteen year old who read Twilight one too many times. The characters are stereotypes in a cliche world, there is little or no character development and there is nothing unique in their story. Plus as soon as the conversation starts spawning more 'baby's than Angelina Jolie it's not really going anywhere.
The no-sex-before-marriage, God-love stuff seems preachy so instead of making the characters noble and strong it feels more like a lecture from the author about 'kids today...'
Finally, when you get past all the terrible relationship bits, there's the entirety of the main character. Firstly, we all know girls work out but if you want it to seem real it needs to be built more than just throwing in a few fancy weight- training terms. Yes, there are female gym junkies too, but since they are rare it takes a lot more work to make the character more believable. Otherwise it seems like the author was just insistent on making the lead female, no matter what effect it had on the storyline. Since she's popping these pills, we need some more explanation as to why, plus a little science wouldn't hurt. I would be interested to see if any kind of science appeared in the second part, but other than that I have no interest in the continuation of the story. The idea of her turning into all the elements is different enough to be interesting, but the delivery is weak and unbelievable. The story has potential, but it needs a serious amount of work to become even an okay story.

Let's start with the positive aspects:
- beautiful cover
- intriguing prologue
- it was free

Now for the negative aspects:
- very slow moving plot that doesn't actually get anywhere by the end of the book: Natalie goes to school, Natalie goes to a meeting for her summer internship, Natalie goes home, Natalie goes back to school and starts her internship.
- Lack of descriptions. Narration is bland (see previous bullet point, it runs pretty much like that) and characters just tell you what they're thinking and feeling.
- Natalie. I just didn't like her, probably because she was so darn stubborn and liked to wallow.
- WHY? Why, why why does switching from glasses to contacts make you prettier? I am so disappointed that the author is perpetuating the stereotype that people who wear glasses are physically less attractive.
- Religious aspect. Not that I'm against religion in books, but in this case, the author seemed to throw it in just because she's religious. It doesn't have anything to do with the main character or the plot - at least not yet. I'm hoping this does matter in the next part.
- Unnatural speech patterns and awkward sentences: "You have magnificent creativity."

What do you get when you combine two horny rabbits, a terribly selfish sidekick, experimental vitamins and a story that seems to make no progress? You get this book. There were times I was more than ready to quit this book, but I thought the story would pick up and go somewhere.

It seems like those ebook freebies are hit or miss. Usually miss. It seems there are very few that can impress me just as much as one of my favorite series. Element was not one of those books. Every so often I find a book where I have notes seemingly on every page. When I was done with Element, the notes piled up. None of them are positive things about the book.

First thing that I didn't like about this was the writing. It was very basic. We didn't really get to see "inside" Natalie's head and get to live through her. The reader is simply told everything without much in the book to actually show the reader anything. While it makes the book an easy read, it also doesn't give the reader any reason to get attached to the story or characters. There was very little character development and back story and very little in way of building up the story. We get dropped into the story with a nightmare that maybe gets explained in further books, but not in this one.

In the description, it says that Natalie offers to take these vitamins. We don't see anything from this. The lab, or her talking to anyone (don't they check up on you if you are doing trials like this?) about her time taking the pills. We just get a brief few lines through the novel that she's taking vitamins along with some protien supplements. I was very disappoint with the lack of story development as this was what made me interested in reading it in the first place. The vitamins are glossed over, almost as if it were a second thought.

Natalie somehow manages to land an internship, along with her friend Lise, after their freshman year in college. For the same people that make these little vitamins that Nat (such an appropriate nickname since these pills seem to be turning her into a very masculine character) is taking. Apparently Nat is very honored and very scientific minded. Who would have thought? Not the reader. No, why would we want to know her life goals, her aspirations for her future. It makes the story very disjointed, since there is obviously very little planning when it came to writing both plot and character.

I don't know if this book had an editor, but I'm guessing not. There is actually one line I wanted to share, as it had me laughing, and not in a good way. The line read:

"She heard him smirk but didn't turn around to acknowledge his high school behavoir."

She heard him smirk. She heard him smirk. That girl got some mad skillz. Maybe the author and I have a different idea of what a smirk is. To me, this is a smirk: verb: 1. smile in an irritatingly smug, conceited, or silly way. Now if she had mentioned she heard him chuckling or chortling to himself, that would have been different. Also, the spanish. We, those of us readers who don't speak spanish, are expected to read between the lines or google a translation. There should have been a non-spoken translation added. It's fine for the spanish family to speak spanish. Just don't make me guess at what is being said. Mostly, this book is full of grammatical errors and these are the top ones that stand out.

I felt bad for Natalie. She had a shitty best friend. Lise was a miserable and selfish child who failed to grow up past 5th grade. Not only does she whine and cry until she gets her way. Such as, let me whine and cry until Natalie goes out to the club because I don't like the other people I could hang out with. Let me whine and cry until Natalie goes out with a boy I want her to so we can double date and have sex and talk about it. Let me whine and cry when the guy I kinda like won't sleep with me but wants to still see me, that bastard, he must be gay. No guy self respecting guy says no to a hot piece of tail who just wants to sleep around. Let me be a bitch and snap when my friend shows concern and tries to get me to respect my body. In truth, I found I had no idea why Natalie liked Lise.

Now, the part that really rubbed me the wrong way. The "couple". Very insta-love. Natalie and Ryan seemed to be going crazy with the hormones. Couldn't be close together without wanting to start ripping off clothes. Which most times, doesn't bother me too much. I understand lust. It can be a powerful thing, especially for two kids who are just this side of their teenage years. But it got old when the story coudln't advance because these two were going at it with their cheesy porn star lines, sans sex. I was very interested, at first, at the idea of this story. Of something going on with Natalie. But her constant refusal to tell the truth or to have a considerate bone in her body (for example, to tell people when she leaves a venue and doesn't call them until the next day or two) made her a hard character to like or to connect to. Natalie was a character that I wanted to slap upside the head and tell her to grow up a bit. I realize she is still a teen, but come on! No need for the drama llama to rear it's ugly head every other page!

Unfortunately, I found nothing redeemable about this book. Oh wait, it was free. I didn't waste my money. But really, I took a chance and this time I got a dud. Hopefully the next freebie will be better.

Can't wait for Part Two!!! Element Part one was an amazing story it had romance, suspense, wit and humor.

The book starts off introducing us to Natalie Vega. She is a smart, funny, and lovely girl who recently has gone through a tough time in her life. She offers to be a test patient for several vitamins and supplements created by Kronberg Laboratories, a large pharmaceutical company where she interns at. Her best-friend Lise also is interning there so they really excited to start working. Then enters Ryan Garrett who was her former high school crush and who seems to have a great interest in Natalie. But something is wrong with Natalie, she starts having dizzy spells when she's around Ryan but she shrugs them off as nothing. But soon her body starts going through physical changes that goes beyond the normal, it’s unreal and unheard of. She question's what she is to do: Tell Ryan the truth, or keep the secret she so desperately wants to tell him.

I really loved Element Part 1 and can't what to see what Part 2 has to offer. It was a story with and amazing plot, something unique, different, and new! I highly recommend this book, CM Doporto is a remarkable author and I can't wait to see her work in the future.

I read this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was odd to say the least. Poorly written romance with little sci-fi made for a disappointing read. I chose to read this book because of its alleged sci-fi storyline. That was barely mentioned in the book. Instead a confusing romance was detailed. I applaud the author's desire to write about college kids that are abstinent, but why add so many creepy sensual details? It made for an uncomfortable juxtaposition. I would not read the next part of this series, nor recommend the first.

So good.....

The author gets you going in the story and you find yourself having to FORCE yourself to stop reading long enough to use the restroom or get a drink. A wonderful whirlwind of emotions went through my mind while reading this...I felt for Natalie, I hoped for her, I ran with her. This is the type of writing you find in one of CM Doporto's books/stories. You do not want to put it down...

My Review
3 Roses

This book was just O.K. Not great, but ok.

The first 3/4 of the book or so read very much like a Spanish Soap Opera, which I didn't particularly care for. The reactions each character had were very dramatic and emotional, and not very realistic (especially the main character, Natalie). Each scene gave a clear picture of overly dramatic people, and picturing it as anything but a Soap was very difficult...

The writing was not realistic at all- the dialogue was some-what cheesy, and irritating, and had a lot of phrases that didn't make much sense. For example, Ryan is supposed to be a Southern Texas cowboy, yet many of his lines read like a surfer guy from SoCal...then he'd have a random line like "this condo is kickin'" ...what??

It seemed very disjointed and confused- like the characters aren't completely defined, and very unsettled.

It also somewhat seemed like a book written by a dictionary...every phrase was something you'd expect to hear from a proper English professor...not college Freshmen (even if some of them were nerds...). It just wasn't very believable or realistic, and got to be somewhat monotonous in tone.

The reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2, is because once the plot got going (past the monumentally frustrating main chunk of the book with a lot of redundant personal challenges and internal turmoil from the main character) toward the end of the book, it actually got interesting. I hate when books leave on a cliff-hanger, but it did leave me wanting to read the next book, now that there's more of a story than "Oh my, I'm so afraid to trust anyone, but gosh darn it, you're sexy, and I just want to bang you so bad, who cares?!" *fake Southern accent there*.

I'm hoping the next book will be better, and since I am still considering reading the series, I'm leaving it a 3 star instead of 2.

I'd recommend it if 1) you don't mind cheesy Soap Opera plots and dialogue to trudge through til the last few chapters, and, 2) the next book in the series/the series all together, sounds interesting to you.

Brought to you by OBS reviewer Dawn

AHHHHH!!!! The book ended on a cliffhanger and I am very frustrated! It was such a pivotal moment and I don’t have a lot of patience. LOL!

Now that I have it out of my system, on to the review.

Natalie is attending college while working to get over her most recently failed relationship. She and her best friend Lise will be interning at Kronberg Laboratories.

While taking supplements from Kronberg, Natalie becomes obsessed with working out. Her body is going through some serious changes.

I found Lise to be a bit obnoxious as she hounds Natalie to party. Life isn’t one big party! BUT because of Lise, they meet Ryan and Sal. Ryan and Sal are truly nice guys which was refreshing.

Natalie and Ryan hit if off, but they are both very cautious, which I can respect. Neither wants to jump into a relationship. They take their time getting to know one another. I hate it when a couple jumps right into bed. It was admirable that Ryan didn’t pressure Natalie for sex despite their intense attraction. Natalie nor Ryan understand why they have such a connection. I hope to learn more about that in the next book.

I liked Sal. I have no idea how he can handle Lise but it’s funny to watch it progress. He’s going to have to beat her off with a stick. She needs to learn to develop their relationship as opposed to trying to have sex right away.

I don’t want to give too much away. Natalie’s body begins to change in a way that scares her. She tries to hide it, but you can’t hide something like that for long. I know Ryan will love her in spite of any weirdness. and I don’t think Natalie will be the only one to change, but who knows.

This is a good solid story. I’m excited to read the next installment. I recommend the book to young adults and women. Element Part 1 is the perfect book for young adults. I’m not sure how the pieces fit together, but I cannot wait to find out. I’m hooked!

I was offered this book in exchange for a honest review.

So here goes... this book could have done with some serious editing before being published. The plot of the story which I originally found interesting... vitamin pills which change Nat into the elements... was completely lost under crazily forced attraction, constant moaning about getting her heart broken and cregular attempts by the author to remind us that you must not have sex before marriage or you're going to hell. I kept forgetting we were meant to be seeing the pills change her... I think the author did too; there were only occasional references to it for the first 75% of the story.

I found the writing style jumpy and disjointed. Every single character... none of which were particularly developed... spoke in exactly the same way. There was the occasional Texas twang added and some of the dialogue was lost to me because I don't read fluent Spanish.

You can't please all of the people all of the time... and this didn't please me. I won't be reading the next instalment but I'm sure there are people out there who would enjoy the love story rather than the element part.

Have you ever wished having superhuman powers... But I may regret it.

Being a paranormal romance & fantasy author, I like to read other authors to learn how they are able to spin out great stories and entertain readers. When I was browsing through the paranormal & fantasy genre, I noticed that this book with its distinctively cover.

Although this book has many reviews, but there does not mean this is a great story. One thing to determine is the author construct the sentences, scenes, dialogues between characters, ending and many others. As I was flipped from pages to pages, I noticed one sentence/quote that is worth mentioning, it is "Natalie shook her head. "No, you're right. I can't stay in recluse forever. I have to get out and enjoy life." To many, this sentence is very ordinary, but to me, It tells me that the main character, Natalie is really a confident person and can't really stands insincere people. The author does know how to bring out Natalie's character. Good job.

This is a paranormal & fantasy novel with some romance, actions, and mystery elements in it. The novel has a present-day setting, focusing on the school grounds and on the Kronberg Lab. Overall, this novel is well-suited for young adults.

As mentioned above, the main character, Natalie is a beautiful college student, having great ambition to be a scientist, nerdy and at times very sensitive to small issue. The relationship between Natalie and Ryan does make the story romantic, although they are afraid to hurt each other. Not to give away too much, you should read this story to get a taste of Natalie's superhuman strength.

What I like about this novel is the fast pace action among the characters, how the author builds the story, and does have some amusing moments among the characters. The plot is simple to follow and is suitable to mostly young adult. There are some scenes that really caught me by surprise. Rest assured that if you think, you aren't able to identify who are the good and bad guys, think again.

If you are looking for some suspense coupled with romance scenes, then you should read this part 1 of the series. You'll definitely get lots of entertainment and enjoyment out of this novel series. I like the cover art. It does catch my attention though.

If there's one thing I'd change about this book, it would be to do some minor editing to the story. I hope that the author would hire an editor to re-look this manuscript. She should try to tone down Natalie as at times, she is over-dramatic.

This book looked great on my Kindle Fire HD tablet with good formatting and layout.

This story starts off with a bang. Natalie has been through some things - and from the sounds of it, she's not ready to talk about it!

Instantly jumping into her internship, she's at a vitamin company and decides to offer herself up as a guinea pig for the new vitamins.

But these vitamins aren't like normal vitamins and nothig is the same after!

The story really does start off pretty quick. You don't get a lot of intro with the characters, but luckily there aren't too many to keep track of.

And Natalie and Lise are really cute. They are your typical girls just getting through college and doing an internship they were lucky enough to land with a big corp. Their banter and parties are fun and easy to read.

They bump into Sal and Ryan right off at the internship and, instantly, their chatting and bonking heads are so sweet and not at all awkward - not even the electric jolt and the near passing out.

This story is a great adventure and kept me turning the pages. The mascerage ball sounded amazing! And I liked that all of the elements of the story seemed to progress naturally and didn't seem forced or awkward at all.

I'm so glad I gave this story a chance.

This novella has a wonderful paranormal romance story line. I thought the story was interesting and fun and the characters were easy to relate to and understand. Ryan and Natalie were sweet, likable characters who were greatly surprised by the paranormal elements that were about to enter their lives. The author did an excellent job of foreshadowing what paranormal elements were later going to surface for the couple as she writes the story of Ryan and Natalie's early courtship. My biggest complaint is that I felt like part 1 and part 2 should have been combined into one complete novel. I truly think that combining the two would have created a wonderful standalone book that could have been left where it ended or picked up later if the author decided to continue the story at a later date-which I hope she does since I still have several unanswered questions. I just don't see how leaving this in 2 separate parts really helps the story along. The cliffhanger at the end of part 1 actually made me mad rather than making me want to read part 2. However, I read part 2 a few days later simply because my daughter already had it on her nook.

I received a free copy of element in exchange for a honest review.

The story is about a strong women Natalie and together with her best friend Lise she is follwing a summer internship at
Kronberg Laboratories. She is also a test patient for several vitamins and supplements created by Kronberg Laboratories, a large pharmaceutical company. Natalie, is not a very open person and is afraid to open her heart, afraid that her heart will be broken again. But then she meets Ryan, who turns here world upside down. Every time she is around Ryan or close to Ryan she gets a strange feeling and is struggeling to controll here self then.

After a while Natalie starts to change and first she doesnt even notice the changes. Then something strange is happening to her....

I like the writing style, and I also think it is a very interesting and unique story.

I think this is a very good book and i really enjoyed reading it. It was for me a real pageturner and with a cliffhanger that makes you desperate to get the second book, so i would say go get it and i hope you enjoy it as much as i did.

The amazing thing is that to go with this amazing cover, you not only get an amazing story line, you also get an amazing character build in many characters.
This story takes you to a whole new environment, you never get to have an amazing story that invites you to a new view on everything. There is so much and you never know what to expect.
You are always wondering what is going on during this book because it is never what you expect! You think it's one thing and then it is another! I loved this book from start to finish and believe me when I say it is more amazing than you can imagine.
The most amazing thing is the love going on. You want more and more but she keeps it slow. She makes it way slow through the story and you are gripping anything around you to keep you grounded lol. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. I am a spoiler free reviewer so I can only tell you how much I loved it.

This book deserves more than five out of five stars!

I liked this book! :) As you may or may not know, I have a weakness for books/movies about people with elemental powers, so this one belongs on that list too. It wasn't the best ever and sometimes the romance between Ryan and Natalie seemed a bit... rushed. It almost is one of those instant-love thingies you often read in books nowadays. And I'm not really a fan of that. But overall this was a fun book and I liked it. I really did. And I would read the sequel because I want to know what happens next.

This book was hard to put down. I felt I could connect with many of the characters and love Natalie's character. Doporto makes her characters as human as possible, flaws and all...and you feel that throughout the story. This book is a great relief in YA writing as it does not contain lots of sex and filthy language. Doporto demonstrates that a great plot does not need those variables in order to keep the reader wanting more. It was a great read and cannot wait until Part 2!

The idea is glorious but it isn't properly developed. I thought it was about a girl changing into something, but the whole story revolved around this girl and this boy falling in love?..... besides that, I liked the writing style of this author, very simple and easy to read. AND I REALLY want to know how Ryan will react.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I immediately got involved in this...and then very quickly I felt it slowed down far too much and I struggled to read the 75% that made up the middle of the book.

I personally found the characters undeveloped and did not believe they would react / speak the way they did.

I did not understand what drew the two couples together. All I could tell was they thought each other were 'hot' (never read that word so many times before) and then suddenly they were in love. As a result, I didn't really care about any of them as people.

I found a lot of what happened just too coincidental and convenient to be plausible.

But most of all, I think the actual story took a serious back seat to the romance, rather than getting the right balance between the two. So much so that I wasn't sure what the plot was meant to be, for a long time, and I kept forgetting about the supplements.

They are meant to be interning at the lab, but we almost never see this happen, so there is no tension, no suspense or mystery, and I thought it smacked of lack of research into the writer's subject. There were also characters who appeared out of nowhere with no explanation of who they were, and the ending felt more random than shocking.

I also found the language painfully repetitive and sometimes just not thought through. At one point, Natalie says she didn't realise 'global' warming affected the whole planet. Really?? She is meant to be intelligent.

I think this needs a lot of reworking. My rating reflects that with work, I think it could be good. The idea is there...somewhere.

Book Review- Element Part 1 by C.M. Doporto

This story introduces the character, Natalie Vega. She is a college student, taking summer classes and interning at Kronberg Laboratories in the lab. This presents a chance to move on from the near-death experience she had and her heartbreak. However, the author decides to make things complicated when Natalie comes face to face with Ryan. He is a blast from the past, as they went to high school together. Add a constant urge to exercise, dizzy spells, and her body getting stronger, and things get weird.
The author presents this sweet beginning relationship between Ryan and Natalie. Their chemistry is pretty explosive. I wondered as I read the story if they were actually drawn together naturally or if it was something the lab was doing to them. The author didn’t explain any of it but did show the connection several times. He was sweet and I liked the pairing between the two.
Her dizziness wasn’t explained and remained a mystery to Natalie. I suspect that the lab was doing something through the supplements she was testing. Not sure if my theory is correct yet. It wasn’t revealed in part one. The title was Element and I wasn’t sure where the author was going to take it. It took awhile for the author to get the point. I was surprised when the moment finally came and it wasn’t what I expected. It was a good story and sets the stage for part two. I can’t wait to read it to see what happens next. I give it a 3.5 out of 5.

I wish, i can say something great about this novel but i can't. This is piece of shit.
At the beginning of the novel starts out as potentially interesting; she's interning at a lab and popping some secret recipe pills on the side from the said lab. After that i really want to say more.. oh how cares.

Hot, and sexy boy comes in and instant-like for her but its her crush from high school. Boring!

I really don't care of the main character at all either. Next on this was the waiting for marriage before sex. I don't care if you do that but have something more in the story on why you have it like that. Not just that my parents did that or my cousin parents and the said cousin too.

Next the lack of swear words, i really think you need to understand that everyone, kids, teens and adults will swear!

This book needs a overhall with everyone, its so boring. Hopefully the second book with be better but I'm not hoping it will.

You get hints of what is happening only a handful of times until the last few chapters. Most of the book is about 2 young college kids and their sexual tension. If you read what the book is about and then read it. Two completely different books

I had mixed feelings about this novella. First, the book is first and foremost a Young Adult Romance and SciFi is a far second. Most of the story revolves around the budding relationship of Natalie and Ryan. While I was definitely engaged in their romance and I was enthralled by their plight, I think I was expecting a little more freaky stuff.

That being said, I suspect the next part in the series will have a great deal more freaky stuff. Sadly, like many of the novellas I've read, especially ones broadcasting they'll part of a series like this one, I felt a lack of closure.

I loved the dream sequences most of all. But I guess I have a thing for dream sequences because you can stretch the limits of reality even beyond the limits of your story. I also loved the part where they're dancing and he's singing "Getting you home" by Chris Young (which is a song, by the way, I really like). All I was thinking was that it was probably not the most apropos song when they intend to wait till marriage.

I was a little frustrated with Natalie and her whole I don't want to get hurt again thing. I get being hurt and being afraid of getting hurt again. I don't get taking a single experience and extrapolating it consciously to the entire male population. This bugged me throughout the story and made me want to yell at her to get over herself.

I really enjoyed the last ¼ of the book and the ending was great. It took a while for the story to really build. The author gives you bits and pieces and clues, but unfortunately it has more than one part and you only get the first part with this book.

Now, onto a few of my pet peeves. I'm not overly fond of reviewing ARC copies, as this one was. I'm never certain what will be removed from the finalized printing and what was, in fact, a mistake. Why doesn't she put up a fuss when he suggests adding a class in May when they had their schedules finalized in April? And, I don't know about you, but when I hit someone really skinny, I go down. No muscle and no fat means you contact directly with bone... which is very painful. Last time I did it, I was on the floor for ten minutes trying to regain the ability to walk.

All in all, if you enjoy a good YA Romance with just a dash of weird, I think you'll enjoy the book. It's sweet and angsty. There's danger and suspense and shady dealings. It really picks up around 3/4 the way through the book. I found myself really wanting the two to get together and really frustrated as their pasts and presents kept clashing and keeping them apart. Looking forward to Part II.

The impressive things about the book were the:
a) Cover - looked cool enough..
b)The whole " OMG I CAN CHANGE INTO FIRE,WATER AIR AND EARTH. P.S I CAN FLY TOO. WICKED"
c)The idea

What I pretty much got annoyed with was the fact that she was so emotional(I mean she practically lost control with Ryan in an instance. I mean not that i'm against it, it's just that it was too much. Though I adore Ryan's wait till marriage thing. Not many guys would do that.)and helpless and why couldn't she have just told him " Hey look i'm a freak but if you love me you'll understand". Okay not so aggressive that so wouldn't suit Natalie but she could have still mentioned it to him since it would hint at the fact that she and Ryan were so close that they could share everything with each other. I felt the last part was a drag because right at the end she gets superpowers like wonder girl and then doesn't want to think about it since it's messing up her head. I get that but if I were too develope freakish powers and the ability to fly I would have gone like: "Oh Crap, now I have to save the world". I would be awestruck, a little confused yes, but definitely not depressed and sick. I was also upset with the grammar though I didn't find it a big deal. Sure "shined" should have been "shone" and "breath taking" should have been one word but then everyone makes mistakes. What I didn't like was that Natalie "worked out to much". There were a little too many hints about how tough and strong she was getting. It could have been a little less because the picture in my mind which formed Natalie was a beautiful girl with biceps and the book didn't really explain why she got that plane nightmare ( WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT??) and how it was a near death experience. It also didn't explain why she took and keeps taking those pills? Is it because they pay her to do so or is it because she wants to look strong or is it because she has vitamin/calcium deficiency. Anyways back to the positive side: I really liked the last part as it was definitely an intriguing and compelling cliffhanger:

She held up her arms and watched her body materialize into a vibrant green color. “Oh no,
it’s happening again!”
The color drained from his face and he gasped for air. “Wh--at? What do you mean it’s
happening again?”
“I….ummmm...well, it’s like….” She didn’t know what to say.
He stared at her in disbelief. “What’s happening to you?”

ALL IN ALL THE BOOK WAS PRETTY GOOD AND I WOULD ENJOY READING THE NEXT PART TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS...
I RATE IT AS A 3 STAR BOOK ***
