In Taking Chances by Christina Paul, Christian Bradford, son of Lord Graydon from A Second Chance:First in the Bradford series rescues a young woman in distress. As a gentleman would, he cares for her wounds and plans to escort her and her deceased father back to Ireland. However, he is very surprised to learn that she is well known by his Uncle Aaron as her father was part of the British Operative group for the Crown. Christian and Samantha Prichard begin an adventure of a lifetime finding a missing list that holds the names of many aristocrats whose lives are in danger. Their search will take them from England to Ireland and back again and involves many of the operatives for the Crown. During the journey their "hot" relationship is developed as they explore each other's motives as well! Steamy Georgian Historical Romance with some mild erotica. Hold on for a wild mystery, romantic steamy novel.

I continue to be impressed by Christina's skills in creating a realistic story line and capturing the reader right from the start. Character development is excellent. I loved every page of this book and look forward to the third in a series that has me hooked.

I really enjoyed this book, the mystery was intriguing, and Samantha and Christian’s chemistry was immaculate. I have always loved to “spy for the Crown” plot and this book is a great example. This book was interesting, easy to read, and consumable. I will definitely come back for a reread in the future.
