Elliott made a mistake in pushing Simone away, but is it too late for him to pull her close again?

Admitting to Simone that he really likes her is a big step for Elliott, but before they can move on with this new relationship, there are some things they need to get straight. Amused by his “guidelines,” Simone is willing to try to understand Elliott’s point of view, so long as he gives her what she wants, too. Everything seems to be moving along until a misunderstanding about Simone’s relationship with an ex lover forces them to face their real feelings for each other.

The third part of the serial novel Every Part of You.

Elliott and Simone finally start to have a relationship. Well, kind of...

In this part I didn’t enjoy the erotic scenes that much – except the first one – because of the one with Aidan and Corrina. I really didn’t know where to put that scene. Reviews say it is extreme. Well, the reason I don’t read books labeled BDSM is that while I may enjoy them to a certain extent, my tolerance is very limited. VERY.
And this scene is far above my limit.

Still, the erotica between Elliott and Simone is steamy and intense.

“I like that you like it,” Elliott murmured. “I fucking love it, as a matter of fact. It makes me lose my fucking mind.”

The emotional aspect is well done too, especially Elliott’s viewpoint. Simone’s a little distant.
I like Elliott very much, and am starting to get irritated by Simone.

Simone knows she wants more but is not honest about it. I adored her sincerity and openness in the previous parts of the story, but sadly it is gone now, and I find her a little bit manipulative.

Elliott may be not aware of what he really wants, but he is still honest. Or at least he tries to be.
“You’re special,” he said into her mouth as his fingers tightened on her skin. “And you make me crazy. And I hate it.”

At the end of this part, Elliott realizes his true feelings, and doesn’t hesitate to tell it to Simone.
“Yes, Simone,” he said into the softness of her hair. “It matters.”

Waking beside Simone had felt so natural that he couldn’t imagine not doing it every day.
She had driven him crazy the night before.
He wanted her to drive him crazy again.

3.5 - 4 SPANKING STARS

Pretty hot and very intense. I guess i'm just noting like Simone emotionally because I can't understand why she lets him dictate what he is willing to give her when she knows she wants so much more from him. One minute he's telling her it can only be sex, then the next he's acting jealous.

Looking forward to the next installment.

This review is posted onWay Too Hot Books.

"I like that you like it", Elliot murmured. "I fucking love it, as a matter of fact. It makes me lose my fucking mind."
She had a clue, now, why he was so against it. "And you you don't like that."
"No. That's insane. Who likes losing their mind?"
"We are all mad here," Simone said, quoting the Chesire Cat.

How to date, but not actually date? That's "the riddle" Simone & Elliot are still trying to solve while having crazy, hot sex in the meantime. It's obvious that there's only matter of time when one of them will crack and ask for more, but who will it be?

Without spoiling anything, all I'm going to say is that the story is only getting better and better. Simone is still my favorite character, but I have to say that I'm also warming up to Elliot with every next pages. The little clues we get about his childhood and abusive father make it easier to understand why is he so closed off as a person and afraid of commitment. Both of them are showing more of their emotional side and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for they HEA. Another characters that we meet a little bit more are Simone's ex Aidan and his girlfriend. They have a more extreme version of Dom/Sub relationship which was interesting to read about, but I'm still glad it was more of a background story.

What will it be that finally breaks Elliot's cold demeanor?
Will it be late for them when it finally happens?

You know what you have to do ;)

"Yes, Simone," he said into the softness of her hair. "It matters."

Quick review for a quick read. I'm still fascinated in watching the developing relationship between Elliot and Simone. This installation of the "Every Part of You" series had enough palpable tensions to fill the respective story. Elliot realizes he screwed up the last time he met Simone and tries to make amends. The two still have a complicated relationship based on pleasure and pain, and certainly on the cusp of BDSM, though it's not necessarily defined as that - at least not yet.

In the meantime, one of Simone's lovers enters her life again and adds some complication to her sentiments on a number of different things. It results in another rendezvous with Elliot, though Elliot's not too happy with hearing about Aidan. And Simone's former relationship with Aidan definitely classifies under the BDSM tab.

It definitely leaves off on an interesting note, and one that I look forward to seeing how it pans out in the next installment.

Overall score: 3/5 stars

Note: I received this as an ARC from NetGalley, from the publisher St. Martin's Press.

Okay... Guidelines. This didn't exactly go the way I imagined it would. I was hoping to get more from Elliott than guidelines. Answers would have been more welcome. Explanations for his behavior, too. Stories from his past would have been great. No such luck. I guess those will come at the very end.

What I got here was mostly sexy times, which wasn't enough for me to love this part. At least Elliott wasn't running away too much. He was starting to come around.

Simone's ex Aidan made an appearance with his new girlfriend/sub. Honestly, I didn't care much about that part. Except maybe for the fact that Simone finally got closure.

Now, part four, you better give me some answers or I'll beat you.

What is Elliot's problem? He is a class act jerk. In Taunts me, Elliot runs cold then hot. He is no good for Simone and she knows it.

In installment three, Ms. Hart continues with a mixed up Elliot. He seems to be doing better because at least now he's communication and dating Simone. Simone's own complications with her friend Adrian is something which I think will backfire on her. Still, it's interesting to see their dynamic.

This relationship is not heading in a good direction. Ms. Hart seems to be steering it towards a collision of hearts. The little bit of kinky play in here is a nice touch. Hope there is more in the next book. Recommended for those who enjoy complicated relationships.

Part 3 of Megan Hart's serialized story. I'm beginning to get annoyed with Elliot.

Again, this would be better as a full novel, however it is a quick and enjoyable read.

I read all 5 parts of this series in the same day, so I'm reviewing the whole series as one thing, as I didn't pay too much attention to each individual book. I do know that I was extremely happy to have the next one to continue straight onto at the end of each part as they always tend to leave you hanging for more each time...

I really enjoyed this one! it was quick, a bit of fun, hot & sexy, and also quite refreshing from the almost standard hot, rich, BDSM Dominant, male lead character. Yes, Elliot was pretty much that guy, but he wasn't. Rich - yes, hot - yes, BDSM master - absolutely terrified of it & what his preferences in the bedroom make him as a man - a monster who beats women.

The BDSM goddess in this story is Simone. The straight-up, tell it like it is, not afraid to ask for what she wants, pleasure/pain seeker. She too, like Elliot, despises the BDSM lifestyle of doms & subs, masters & slaves. Yes, she's tried it, but her outspoken, take no bullshit personality does not make for a good submissive, but she can take anything dished out to her, especially if that involves a good spanking or even a caning.

These two are a match made in heaven. Able to truly fulfil their fantasies together, & feed their desires to their hearts content. That is, until Simone's openness & Elliott's fears come face to face in a way that very nearly destroys them both.

Simone will not chase after a man. She doesn't need to. But when Elliott runs, she's very tempted to hightail it after him.

Sometimes the best thing that ever happened to you will cost you the highest price. & sometimes the greatest risks reap the highest rewards. But are Elliot & Simone prepared to risk it all for the chance of a scorching hot spankingly ever after?

Simone and Elliott cross paths again at a future politician's party. Although Elliott tries to deny his insane attraction to Simone, it proves to be useless, provoking endless fantasies about her. After a brief encounter on the balcony, Simone finally heads home with Elliott. After spending an amazing night together, Elliott and Simone fall into a routine sexual relationship. Elliott makes it clear from the beginning that he is not interested in anything serious, and Simone, eager to get her fill of him, willingly agrees. Even with Simone following Elliott's "guidelines", it becomes clear that Simone is starting to mean more to Elliott than he was prepared for.

This was my least favorite in the series so far. I felt like there was such a buildup for Elliott and Simone's first time, and the buildup was fantastic; sexy, mysterious, etc. However, when the big moment happened, it was told from Simone's perspective only and was way too quick for me. I would've loved to have read this scene from Elliott's point of view. And, after such a mind blowing experience, I wanted to hear more, read more mind blowing experiences.

All of Megan Harts characters have little quirks; or I like to call them perfect imperfections, but I have to say that I am having a difficult time understanding Elliott and what is up with him. I remain a faithful Megan Hart fan and know without a doubt she will not leave me hanging! I look forward to seeing this come full circle. 3 1/2 stars.

I reviewed this at MustReadBooksOrDie with my friend Shelley!

Shel: I know what you're thinking. You're thinking you can't do a novella series..you don't like the waiting...they are just getting going and POOF! it's over for that installment...the characters aren't as developed...and so on and so on. Court: I've so thought that before, but keep reading!

Shel: I think Megan Hart just may be the writer to convince you that a novella series will work for you. First of all, by the time you read this review all of the series will be released. Court: They are ALL out! And so fracking good. Shel: Second of all, the series is completely filling. The characters are not short changed, neither is the plot or the steam. Of course, when a writer is budgeting his or her words, the details may be fewer and the pace, faster..but I didn't mind it one bit. I found this series to be paced nicely and the writing very clean--not bogged down on anything unnecessary. Court: I had deeply strong feelings for Simone and while my feelings for Elliott tended to be toward the pissed off side of things, he was a very multi-dimensional character as well. My constant thoughts of Simone were that she is fierce, and strong...yet submissive. That was quite a feat for me to see pulled off so I was very excited to see what sort of journey Simone would take through each novella I read.

Shel: The story is interesting. There's the instant intrigue of Simone and her voyeurism. There's the simple and not so simple Elliot. There's the complication of their sex life and what is deemed right/good/acceptable. There are hurt feelings and confused feelings and honest feelings. I loved how in so few words, Megan Hart gives us a very raw story of the pleasure and pain of engaging in their relationship. Elliot is so infuriating and Simone is so strong and vulnerable and good. I loved Simone...more women could stand to be as honest as she was in this series; and, I love how she refuses to apologize for who she is and what she likes. And, Elliot finds a way to be less of an asshole by the end too...as he learns how to accept his truth and tell it to Simone (and more importantly, to himself). Court: OMG Elliott...he killed me...but really, just like Simone he was brutally honest too. He was so straight laced and rigid in some things...but still was an incredibly hot lover in others. He had so much hate and anger for things that had happened in his life, that he went through a great part of it alone. I didn't want him to be alone but on the other side I needed him to hardcore get his head out of his butt, pronto!

Shel: Anyway, I could ramble on for a while about why I enjoyed this series..instead, you should buy it and let us know what you think. Court: Please do. We can ramble on about this forever, and really want to!

Taunts Me is the third part of Every Part Of You which is one book split up into five parts. It's probably not the cheapest way to buy books if honest but I'm sure the marketing guys thought it would be a great idea! Although I'm not sure that readers will be overjoyed at the overall price when they have eventually downloaded the whole thing ! Nevertheless it's still a good way to make sure this authors work appeals to you. Also I fully realise that some readers just want to dip into a book now and again so this sexy book should fit the bill.
Simone and Elliott are a very sexy couple together but the problem is that Elliott has not been sure if what he has to offer is enough for Simones needs. Elliott isn't ready to commit to a relationship and has pushed Simone away but he's regretting his hasty actions. In this installment we see Elliott realising that just maybe they could still enjoy each other's company as long as ground rules are established . Simones not a unintelligent woman and fully realises that Elliott doesn't want commitment but what they share sexually is a unique connection that's well worth pursuing. So just how casual is their relationship? Simone is about to find out!
As with previous instalments the reader is left wanting more and the next download cannot come soon enough! This author keeps pulling this reader in and it's hard not to connect with the characters. There is real emotional content here and Elliott in particular has hidden depths that I would really like to discover more about . This is a sexy read about the connection between physical pain and sexual pleasure that might shock some readers but nothing feels gratuitous and indeed there's the beginnings of a scene here that is left to the readers imagination which is far more titallating. The results bring both Elliott and Simone to a pivatol moment which is intense and edgy.
Will I read more? Yes. Am I happy it's spread out in this format? No, I'd much prefer it to be sold as one book if honest. Ms Hart is an author whose work is clearly popular amongst those who enjoy dark sexy and slightly dysfunctional tales. These characters are not sweet and yet they are written as humans full of fragility , vulnerability and surprising strength. You will not find victims here unless it's surrendering to passion! Well worth reading but please do read in order starting with Tempts Me.

3.5 Stars - Every Part of You: Taunts Me is the third installment in a five part erotic serial by Megan Hart.

Elliott Anderson likes things a certain way. He's very particular. Very precise. He doesn't like dating, or does long term relationships. Doesn't do well with someone else asking relationship things of him ... the kind of things you're supposed to do with a girlfriend. He doesn't do them. Doesn't like to do them. And admitting to Simone Kahan that he really likes her is a big step for him.

“I get it. You don’t want a girlfriend and you’re a freak about people messing with your stuff. You’re not always a dick, but you will be sometimes and you won’t apologize for it because you’re just a cranky grouch, and that’s who you are.”

Amused by Elliott's “guidelines,” Simone is willing to try to understand his point of view, so long as he gives her what she wants, too. For her, pleasure and pain is all tied together. She likes it when he uses his teeth. When he pinches her. When he pulls her hair. And everything seems to be moving along fine, until a misunderstanding about Simone’s relationship with an ex-lover forces them to face their real feelings for each other.

In the third installment of this erotic serial, Simone and Elliott are still trying to define the boundaries of their somewhat dysfunctional relationship. They're both quirky and likable, and both have a pain fetish. He likes to give it, and she likes to receive it. Regardless, this is an edgy, intelligent, well-written erotic read that's only getting better with each installment.

Content: graphic language, explicit sex, oral, biting, pinching, toys, impact and edge play.

I also recommend: Every Part of You Tempts Me (Every Part of You, #1) by Megan Hart Every Part of You Resists Me (Every Part of You, #2) by Megan Hart

I read this in the five separate, short installments but will review it as a whole.
Simone is full of self-confidence with a side of naughty. While at work she has enjoyed her voyeuristic side watching the attractive male below bring back many woman to have his way with in his office. Having a penchant for masochism, she’s learned to ask for exactly what she wants and if the chemistry doesn’t complement to move on quickly. She continues her brazenness by virtually inviting herself to a party with the male one evening.

Elliott is a strange one. He’s a little bit OCD, a little bit germaphobe, and quite a bit neurotic. Coming from an abusive and neglected childhood, he has worked hard to overcome the obstacles placed upon him. He focuses on taking care of Molly and not becoming like his father. He has spent much of his free time with a parade of model type blondes but no one that he ever wants to be around more than a couple of dates.

This wasn’t my favorite series. It felt like there was more angst with a trivial amount of satisfaction. I didn’t get find much enjoyment in the flat characters or the dysfunctional connection they share. Elliott is constantly pushing Simone away and then running back to her; talk about mixed signals. In a lot of ways, I think this was the biggest turn off. Because there was so much rebuffing, it made me wonder where the plot was going. There were moments I enjoyed the rapport between Simone and Elliott but there were even more where I was left shaking my head. After the pages has settled or more aptly the kindle recharged, I think perhaps I didn’t get what was the author was trying to convey.

SERIES REVIEW

EVERY PART OF YOU is a serial novel made up of five books. It’s a dark, erotic, well written story about Elliot Anderson, a partner in a law firm and Simone Kahan, who works in the same building as Elliot. While Simone is working late one night, she looks out her window and notices Elliot’s activities in his office after hours. After that, whenever Simone works late, she watches Elliot hook up with different women in his office late at night. One night when Elliot and Simone are both working late, they accidentally meet in the elevator. Elliot he is arrogant, selfish and terse, but Simone can’t help being attracted to him. Simone is confident in who and what she is. She isn’t intimidated by other people, knows what she wants and always speaks her mind. Simone knows she is flawed, but is able to accept herself for who she is. Elliot is also flawed, but has a hard time acknowledging who he is. At forty two Elliot is inhibited, introverted and not honest with himself or other people. Elliot and Simone are two lost souls who are drawn to each other.

This is a well crafted story with great character development. As the story unfolds we understand Elliot and the circumstances that made him the man he is today. Although, there isn’t much information about Simone’s past. Each book is about sixty pages and continues where the last book left off. I don’t understand why Megan Hart wrote this as serial and I have to admit, it spoiled the story for me. For that reason, I gave the book a lower rating. That being said, I think Megan Hart writes an intense, edgy, sexy read. There is some BDSM in the story.

Megan Hart's serialized novel Every Part of You is broken down into five installments, each of which are titled to reflect the topic for each. In Tempt Me It we are introduced to Simone and her fascination with Elliot and his liaisons which she has a very good view of from her office. Elliot seems confused as to how to deal with his unusual desires. Meeting Simone seems to confuse him even more. They share the same dark passion but where Simone welcomes it Elliot seems to run away from it. In Resists Me, the relationship progresses, with Elliot still denying what he's feeling and what Simone seems to represent for him. Passion overrules his logic and Simone gets what she wants. It didn't end quite the way they wanted. Taunts Me and Denies Me just continues what essentially is the theme of this novel. For Simone its falling in love with the perfect man who seems to deny what he wants and thinks what they have is wrong and for Elliot it seems to be a lot of daddy issues. Megan Hart excels in these type of novels where you can't see the main lead ever getting together at all despite the feelings and the rightness of it. The sexual scenes are definitely steamy, the BDSM theme is lightly tackled but more implied and the pathos and tone is definitely tragic despite the almost wry humor of the heroine. The novellas are pure erotica however the developing relationship between the leads truly captures the readers interest making you just want to keep turning the pages. The ending chapter definitely is keeping everyone on edge.

3.5 rating...

I really do dislike rating a book one novella at a time... but, it is what it is... This really is not the best way to publish a story. The reader loses connection with the characters when they are this spaced out. I would have liked more from the erotic scenes in this installment, they felt very rushed. I would like more time to be spent with Simone and Elliott as a couple and really wish we would move into the story behind Elliott and his strange need to have his life in order all of the time. Elliott with his OCD and Simone with a carefree... I like it rough attitude is an interesting combination for a couple. I think I went down a little in the rating simply because I really didn't like the whole scene with Aiden and Corinne... Aiden is not an appealing Dom to me... he is insensitive and self-absorbed and treats his sub like a doormat. It didn't seem like his sub was enjoying it either so that just sealed my dislike for the scene. Aiden is definitely in it for himself only and what he wants. BUT, I love Simone and her confident, forceful personality... it's a refreshing change of pace than what seems to be the norm in erotica lately. I'm still in this one till the end... two more novellas to go and I hope we get more of the sexy and forceful Simone and I do hope Elliott learns to take what he wants! His hesitation is making me a little impatient! And I hope that Corinne grows a backbone and dumps the loser Aiden... :)

This series is becoming a bit of a tease.  Just when things start working out for me and I'm getting into the story, the end of the "serial" part comes.  This is also difficult to review and rate as these "parts" are not extremely long.  And I do think this book would feel different had it been released as a full novel.

That being said, this part brings us a bit of that push and pull that Simone and Elliott keep going through.  Just when I think Elliott has decided to admit what he wants is exactly what Simone is offering, he gets cold feet about it and backs up.

These are both conflicted characters that have a lot of their own issues.  Simone, even though she's so strong on the outside, is delicate and easy to hurt on the inside.  Seeking love and acceptance, to feel safe.  And when the ground she's standing on starts to shake, she goes back to what she knows can feel safe.  I wasn't necessarily a fan of that in this part.

I think there are good things to come from these two from here and as their pasts coming to the light.

I've been enjoying reading Megan Hart's Every Part of You series (#1 was Tempts Me and #2 was Resists Me), but was looking forward to learning more about Elliott. Taunts Me, the third installment in the serialized novel, and Denies Me, number four, both offer more of a glimpse into his life, but he still remains an enigma. He's a whole whack of contradictions: commanding yet quiet, mature yet boyish, seemingly in control yet a complete disaster under the surface. I still don't have a good sense of him, but I know him a bit better, and I appreciate that. And it helps, because in these two installments, Elliott and Simone go through a rollercoaster of sex and romance and denial and despair. Knowing a bit more about Elliott helps it all make sense.

Still, I wish I knew him more. There are times when he talks and talks and makes Simone laugh, but we're just told about it, we don't really experience it, so I don't quite believe it. I wish I could see the chatty, goofy side of him, to know why Simone, who doesn't fall easily, is tragically close to falling for him. Other than the fact that he checks off all the boxes in the bedroom.

Oh, right, the bedroom. Holy Toledo. These kids are crazy hot. Nicely done.

This series just keeps getting better and better. It has the feel of those once a week soap operas that leave you counting the hours till the next episode. We left Simone and Elliott at a stand still. He became fearful and pushed her away once again saying he didn’t want to see her but his heart had other ideas.
Simone saw him at a party and decided the best revenge was to make him jealous but her heart also had other plans. Once he got the shove he needed he went to talk to her and things got hot for them. Finding out that maybe he could do this they started the date routine. She was charmed by him but wanted more.
When Simone admits to Elliott that she had been to Aidan’s house, his jealousy took control and he questioned Simone. Things take another rocky turn here for the couple and we are left with him wanting to know if he was enough for her and how could he convince her that yes it did matter if she was with someone else. Simone wasn’t willing to give him that chance to ask again. How dare he question who she had been with when it was Elliott that didn’t want more than sex?
I can hardly wait for the next book to see if these two will ever get it together and make this work.

My review is a reflection of the entire series...

If you haven’t read the sexy erotic stories of Megan Hart, you should, at least once. I find her books often expanding the tolerance of my naughty radar. Simone works in the same building as the successful Elliott Anderson and has watched him take on new conquests almost every night of the week. Voyeurism is definitely Simone’s kink and she is not shy about it. After nights of watching Elliott handle his business, the perfect opportunity presents itself for them to meet. Simone’s approach is a a tad bit more aggressive than the women Elliott is used to courting and only peaks his interest in Simone. As soon as things start to get steamy, Elliot is faced with some personal challenges that throws a monkey wrench into this new erotic relationship. Everyone deals with stress in their own personal way and Elliot is faced with exploring other areas of his sexual repertoire. Areas he has often deemed as immoral. Will Simone stand by Elliott through thick and thin? Will Elliott realize how his life has changed for the better with Simone in his life? So many questions and hopefully a lot of answers.

Every Part Of You Taunts Me
Megan Hart
This is the third part of these amazing series that will have you non stop page turning.
Simone has not been with Elliot for awhile when she is invited to a party thrown by Trent Boudreux, who is rumored to be the future Govenor. Of couse Elliot is there.
They meet up after the party and the sparks are flying. They delve deeper into realm of sexual pain.
"I'm going to hurt you Simone."
"I hope so, I told you, I like it."
They experiment with his belt and puts clothes pins on her nipples. Holy hotness here. The sex scenes were smoking. This author does a great job of creating and setting the background for these two characters. Their wants and needs are so similar. Simone is okay with who she is and embrasses the fact the fact that she likes a little pain and prefers her sex a little bit rougher. Elliot has been not reached this point in his life yet and is still weary of finding anyone like he it. He is not at peace with who he is and struggles to admit it to himself or anyone else.
I am really enjoying this story and looking forward to the next part. I would rate this series a 5/5.

***This book was provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.***

The more I read of this series, the more intrigued I am. And the more I learn about Elliot, the more mysterious he becomes! It seems like with each facet of his personality that is revealed, you realize there are hundreds more.

I loved this installment. Hot, as usual, and we finally get to ‘meet’ the infamous Aiden. I like the addition of Aiden’s character, because It really gives the reader more insight into Simone. Their past relationship is telling, though, again, I think there’s lots more to tell, and I can’t wait to get there.

Simone and Elliot finally define their relationship in this one, though it doesn’t quite work out the way either one of them planned. I love all these lines getting blurred and all this insecurity on both ends, not only about their relationships but about themselves and their desires.

I think what this series really has going for it is that for every question answered, it leads to ten more being asked. At this point, it would be nearly impossible to walk away from–-though I don’t know anyone would want to!

Remind me not to start a book when its a part of a series the third book in. I felt like I was watching the little train that could that actually couldn't while I waited for the crash at the bottom of the mountain.
Every Part Of You: Taunts Me is the third book in the series. From what I gather its all teen maturity erotica? I think? (Love scenes not sexy, the characters are seriously lacking...)I couldn't even follow the plot as I was too distracted being caught in where it left off from a point I haven't read. Whatever it was, wasn't memorable enough to remember.
Being lost didn't help since I got started in the wrong book. However the character personalities were pointless and so was any kind of resolution from what I picked up half way through the story.
Is there going to be more to this series?
I was going to rate it but I don't feel its fair to post a rating when I can't post a fair review either.
So I will have to read the previous books and revise when I have a better picture of the overall story.

3.5 Stars ARC received via Netgalley for an honest review.

It has been a while since I read the first 2 installments, so it was good to get back in the world of Simone and Elliot.

The tension just keeps on growing as this series goes forward. Elliot knows he effed up big time at the end of part 2, and now this is him trying to make things right.

Simone, Simone, Simone. I don't know, I guess I just want to slap some sense into her. Elliot is what he is, but Simone flip-flops between the assertive go-get-him woman and then the total opposite.

The relationship as it is is starting to grow, and we start to get more into the light BDSM/pain is pleasure side of their relationship.

We also meet the infamous Aiden, and it is going to be interesting to see where Simone's relationship with him will go.

Now, on to Part 4: Denies Me.....

Elliott's guidelines are a hoot and I hope to hear more about their origins.
While the type of pain Elliott and Simone prefer is not something I personally dabble with, I still find the connection they share sexually to be quite captivating. I always like reading interactions with characters that are considered a bit...taboo. And while biting and pinching may not seem extreme to most, I think the level they prefer is more than most can tolerate. I think it's probably more than Elliott WANTS to tolerate because at the end of the day the last thing he wants to do is hurt someone. He's far from abusive, but seeing how his father behaved when he was younger has tainted him a bit.
Do I think he will ever really sell the house he's staying in? No. It's like his only like to a happy pas (sort of).

Though I am not usually a fan of serialized books, the author is strong enough to make the technique work. Megan Hart is a very skilled writer. She has woven a tale that is intriguing and given readers an extremely compelling hero and heroine. The themes of voyeurism and BDSM are handled with finesse and class, and the erotica factor seems high and going higher.... This 3rd installment is well written, fast paced, beautifully set and as I said, the passion is there. I am a sucker for clever dialogue and Ms. Hart has the talent for writing dialogue down to an art! The story continues soon, and I for one will be there to read more..
