Wild, Irish rock star, Greg Booker was just fourteen when he learned how precious life was.
From that day onward, he swore to live each day as if it was his last, filled with adventure, and to accept whatever happened during his life journey as some kind of divine intervention.
Despite being a musician in a world famous band, a rock star romance had so far evaded him. And although his fans and bandmates had grown used to his reckless, impulsive antics no one was prepared for what happened during a well-earned weekend break in Las Vegas.
When an unexpected event involving Greg took place, he sees it as a sign that this was meant to be, leaving most of his bandmates speechless. When Levi finally finds his voice, he offers Greg advice.
Can Greg accept Levi's guidance, or will he continue on the path he feels life has chosen for him?

Although Greg appears to be the wild child in the band, he doesn’t believe in divorce, neither does Annie, which means they have to work out what this now means for them. Bernadette lets the band know that the hottest actress in Hollywood wants Greg to escort her to the Oscars and Greg is going to have to take one for the team. When Greg meets Lori he can’t deny the chemistry between them and think he may have met his match. When Greg gets a call that his best friend is in hospital, Greg leaves suddenly needing to be there in case the worse thing happens. That’s where it gets complicated. You see an entirely different side to Greg while he’s at home and even the band learn things, they didn’t know about him. Deakon also seems to have discovered baking cookies. As sad as it is being the end of the series, you see that everyone has their happily ever after even ones you weren’t expecting.
Greg, the Irish bassist for the band, has loved his Lizzie since he was a teen. We see him wed at the end of Until Korry’s book……….but that’s just a snippet of what’s to come
Eliza (Lizzie) has been heartbroken since she told Greg that since he would be joining the band, then they would be no more 😢😢😢
BUT this wouldn’t be a KL Shandwick book without some grovelling, stupid decisions and lots of 🥵🥵
A must read now!!!!!!!
And let’s not forget Tim 😜 would love to read a book on him…..😜🤤
Every girl needs a good "Bad Boy" in their life. Greg's story was such a rollercoaster ride. Greg just proved that no matter who you are or how old you are, a woman just wants a genuinely nice guy who has a naughty side. Someone to make them loosen up and enjoy life to it's fullest. Greg's romantic scenes were palpable.
As a person who lost a parent at an early age, I can appreciate the trauma that it creates in the way you view life, major events, and relationships. The way Greg is able to bring out the importance of all of these experiences. I love how he wants to take care of everyone and wants to always do the right thing... which usually gets him in trouble.
I thoroughly enjoyed all of the scenes that exposed is to his Irish side. Having traveled to Ireland and being married to a half-Irish man, it was all very authentic. As always, KL Shandwick makes any Rockstar gathering intense and hilarious! I loved getting to see where all of our favorite rockers were in their lives. I hope we get many more books in the Pulsetunes series.
5 Star Review Until Greg (PulseTunes Rock Gods #5) by K. L. Shandwick
No one writes rock star romance like K.L Shandwick. I feel like I have been waiting for Greg Booker’s story for a long time, but now it is here, and it was so worth the wait. Until Greg was a well written, emotional story and is the final book in the PulseTunes Rock Gods series.
He lives by the creed of living each day as if it could be your last, something I am totally on board with. He is a member of a world-renowned rock band and yet love alludes him.
There was certainly angst in this story as well as trust and anger issues, all of which were handled well. It is also a story that got to me on numerous levels and my heart went out to Greg as he struggled.
Another emotional story from K.L. Shandwick and one that ticked all the boxes for me.
Say it isn't the end with the Screaming Shadows! I was both dreading and thrilled to finally read Until Greg. I have loved the series! I was invested in Greg and Lizzie from the start of the book having already loved Greg. Their story tugged at my heart. I didn't really understand Lizzie at times but everything happens for a reason. I loved her snark and couldn't wait for her to meet Sadie! As always with Kelly's books, some of my favorite moments were with the whole band together and how intertwined the story was. The last few chapters had me smiling. Goodbye for now guys. I hope to catch up with you in future books!
K.L. Shandwick has delivered yet another captivating and compelling rock star romance which was raw, passionate, and completely addictive. UNTIL GREG is the fifth and final book in the PulseTunes Rock Gods series, a second chance romance with all the feels.
Greg Booker has only ever had two loves in his life ... playing music and Eliza 'Lizzie' McDade. When he was asked to join Screaming Shadows he followed his dream, Lizzie refused to leave Ireland, resulting in both their hearts being broken. Greg's life was turned upside down; drugs, alcohol and multiple women became his way of dealing with the pain of losing Lizzie. He became a hedonistic wild Irish man, constantly causing mischief, acting impulsively, and getting into trouble. A Vegas wedding he doesn't remember, and then a night at the Oscars with up-and-coming actress Lori Sinclair, has him thinking that maybe, just maybe, he could move on. A phone call from Ireland is about to change everything, especially when it means he will be coming face to face with Lizzie again.
The chemistry between Greg and Lizzie was undeniable. The sly glances, the anger, and the love was still there, even though they had been apart for years. Greg wants nothing more than to have Lizzie back in his life, but she is still holding a grudge against him for leaving. She treats him with disdain and contempt, whereas he shows her nothing but tenderness and love. The emotions between them were real, they were raw, but will he be able to convince her that he is still the same man he always was, or will it be too late? No matter what Greg says or does Lizzie is cold toward him, she's also moved on with her life, but for how long? I love that Greg laid his heart on the line with Lizzie and was as honest with Lizzie as he could be, the question is ... would she hear what he was saying and learn to trust him again enough to open her heart to him? Their relationship is an emotional rollercoaster ride, constantly affected by outside influences, being a rock star has its drawbacks, especially when you're trying to win back the woman you love.
UNTIL GREG was such a wonderful story to conclude this addictive series. Catching up with Jude, Levi Deakon, and Korry and their partners was wonderful. These five men are so much more than bandmates, they're family, and that's never more obvious than in the way they care, support, and love each other. I really enjoyed the friendship that developed between Greg and his bodyguard Raff. I loved Raff, so cynical, sarcastic, and such an alpha, but he was always there when he was needed. I can't finish without mentioning that Epilogue ... absolutely brilliant.
Seriously... I'm thinking of going to a desert island. Wanna know why? Because I want to read all day long but being a grownup sucks... And stuff needs to be done and well, I can't read as much as I want. I've been dying to grab this book since I ended the last one from this series, and when I got a glimpse of this new one waiting for me, I couldn't start it fast enough. K.L. Shandwick has had this effect on me since the first book that I devoured. Each book is special and will take you to a place where all your dreams will come true... Her writing is hot and wild, raw and so intense that will take your breath away. Until Greg is her latest release and it's the fifth book from the Pulsetunes Rock Gods. Have you had the chance to read the first books from this series? Guys, do it and you'll see where it will take you. This book explores the lives of Greg and Lizzie. Greg started to see life from a different angle when he was a teen. After that, his motto is to live each day to its fullest. When he joined Screaming Shadows he had to make the hard decision to leave his heart behind and that made him turn to drugs, booze and so much more in order to ease the pain. Let's just say he became "The Wild Irish". One wild night in Vegas made him do some seriously messed up things that came back to bite him in the arse... When a call from Ireland comes... Lizzie saw her heart crushed when the love of her life left her behind in order to follow his dream. She didn't forgive him for leaving her and blocked him out of her life. When he returns... Dayum...this book was something else alright... I was so freaking happy when I started to read because I wanted to know what the hell made Greg the way he was. I want to say so many things but I refuse to spoil so I'm gonna stick to what I can. So I'm not gonna lie, there were parts in the previous books that I wanted to hit Greg. He was wild and got on my nerves but then, when I started to read this book, things started to get into place and I had some insight. He has a huge heart, I'm not gonna lie, but he's reckless, and that had marked him profoundly. And Lizzie, she was broken and how can you mend a broken heart? The way this story progressed left me on edge the entire time because I was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Once I started to read, I couldn't put it down... So so good. It was a rollercoaster of emotions that's for sure and I loved the ride. I loved every single chapter and I'm so so sad that it's over. This series is one of my favorites this year and I can't stop the sadness because it's over. Another amazing series K.L. and I hope we can have more news from this band in the future. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Another 5 star read by K.L. Shandwick. Holy Moses in a Basket! What a ride! The much anticipated release of Until Greg is everything and more than what I expected. Greg left Ireland and his one true love, Eliza (Lizzy) to join the band, Screaming Shadows. Eliza refused to leave Ireland and the sadness and anger towards Greg when he chose his music over their relationship broke them both. She blocked him from her life and when Greg realized he had to go on without her, he turned to groupies, alcohol and drugs to deal with his heartbreak. He was impulsive and forever getting himself into trouble. Raff, his security guy had his work cut out for him, trying to keep Greg out of trouble. A wedding that nobody remembers, which has you rooting for a HEA with Annie, the older woman who Greg finds has stirrings of feelings for. He gets asked to attend the Logies with a diva actress, Lori, which leads to a hot night between them and added promises of more. He returns to Ireland unexpectedly to be with his best friend, who has a serious accident. Lori takes a liking to Greg, and wanting more, decides she needs to see him again, wanting to know if his promise for more is real, which leads to all kinds of trouble for Greg as he tries to get his life back together with Lizzy. Can he win Lizzy back? Does she still love him like he loves her? Can he have Lizzy like in their past or does he need to move on to someone else? The emotions are real and have you wanting Greg and Lizzy to find their HEA together too. But what about Lori? So many feelings for Greg wanting him to get it together and decide what his future is gonna be. Finding love and trust again for Lizzy is hard due to the hedonistic lifestyle Greg lived once he left Ireland. You will love this rollercoaster ride, with the other band members deserving a mention in the story line, filling you in on their feelings and thoughts on Greg as their band mate and how he now was part of their family. I loved the surprise ending as will you as it leads to a HEA for Greg. I was sad to finish the book and hope there may be another to let us know what all the guys are up to in the future.
Some of the most memorable Rockstars that I have ever read have been penned by K.L Shandwick, and as an extra bonus they all turn up together at a celebrity wedding in this story and their banter is hilarious.
In Greg we have another very talented musician, the bass player with the famous band Screaming Shadows. He may be famous and living the hard and fast life of a Rockstar, but his outrageous behavior is hiding a ton of hurt...
He has made so many shocking decisions, feeling lonely and vulnerable, most of the time he is high or drunk. His band mates and security guards constantly clearing up his messes.
What happened in Vegas did not stay in Vegas. He attended an after party where most of the guests were not human (what!!) Out of the blue he found himself at the Oscar's, surrounded by glamour and culture (scary) On a bad day he may have jumped out of a hotel window to dive into the pool below, normal right!
An unwanted phone call forces him to stop, to face up to his mistakes with family and friends back home in Ireland. Under the scrutiny of his beloved family and the love of his life he once left behind Greg is forced to man up. As soon as he sees Eliza, his Lizzie again he wants what they once shared. He wants to belong to her again, to have her in his arms again, but she is broken and bitter. He really does have a huge mountain to climb...
This love story will pull at your heart strings, I loved the sassy Lizzie, she really let Greg have it, it was brutal. Her family members, and the family the band created are all wonderful and they all come together and support each other beautifully. This is a big book and an even bigger journey.
Until Greg is the fifth book in KL Shandwick’s Pulse Tunes Rock Gods and brings this fantastic series to a conclusion. She has certainly kept the best to last with Greg Booker. Just like the other band members his story is an emotional rollercoaster of a ride for him to find his HEA.
Greg is the Irish bassist for the Screaming Shadows band but his life has been full of ups and downs. He found the love of his life early on but ended up having to make a choice and he choose the band.
During this series he has always been the wild one and getting into trouble. He lives every day to the fullest to compensate for what he has lost. It is a heartbreaking tale as he searches for what he wants and we find out the reasons behind some of his behaviour.
The author keeps you on your toes as you never know what will happen next. News of an accident has him dashing home but it means he has to face his past.
There are some funny parts amongst the angst as Greg struggles with events. He had totally embraced the rockstar life but now we see a different side to him when he is with his family and friends.
This could be read as a standalone but the band is made up of great characters and it would be such a shame not to read their stories. It was lovely to catch up with them all and see how they pull together yet again.
Who will he end up with? Will he listen to his band mates when things become fraught? Some great surprises I didn’t expect. Another fantastic rock star story from K.L. Shandwick and only she could end it like that !
That’s how you close an epic series! Bravo K.L. Shandwick for writing another must-read narrative!! Greg Booker may be the last member of Screaming Shadows to have their story told, however, it is certainly no less entertaining than his band mate’s stories and has some unexpected twists and turns too.
I’m not going to mention anything about the storyline except that it is an incredible one to read. I hope you can go in blind like I have and witness Greg’s story unfold without any prior knowledge of where it will lead to - I had no clue and I loved that I was never fully certain until the end! This story is written using multi POVs and I know you’ll love getting to know Greg and seeing him with his loved ones and friends. I found his character development to be perfectly penned throughout the narrative. Greg surprised me at times and that certainly gets a tick from me. I always love it when K.L. Shandwick brings in characters from her other book series as they are all favourites of mine. The closing scenes literally melted my heart. What else can I say except they are perfect!!
K.L. Shandwick writes stories that bring out many different emotions and deal with real life issues. The PulseTunes Rock Gods Series is one that I highly recommend to you to read. I am gutted that my time with the band has come to an end – I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment!
Greg, he is completely loyal to those who matter to him. Childhood friendship with Floyd has stood the test of time, they are brothers in all but blood. Greg will drop anything for those closest to him if in need, sometimes to the point his heart is torn. He can be the crazy one of the band with antics like diving off a hotel balcony into the pool below, but he loves deep. This story is full of ups and downs, there are twists and turns that keep us readers guessing almost to the end. It's emotional, full of turmoil and angst, it's true to the nature that is Greg, down-to-earth to his core. Realistic and surprising at times, even a little funny at certain points. There is love and romance, wonderful characters that include all members of the band and families. It is a journey of reflection and growth, of understanding and being understood. I think this story totally did Greg the justice he deserved and an ending that is perfect. Each band member has had their own issues and vulnerabilities that have drawn readers in to empathise and love, I can't wait to see what others think of Greg, me? Well I totally loved him. Moving story that I could often identify with except for the rock star bit. KL Shandwick has written another epic story that I feel is worthy of at least a 7 star rating.
I loved this book. The final in The Pulsetunes Rock Gods series. And it does not disappoint. I have loved each and every story. Each one has been my favourite, but Greg has stolen my heart. Greg starts out in the previous books as a fly by the seat of his pants, party till you drop guy, no thoughts or plans, just whatever comes into his head. Jump out of a window, get married for a bet. But all of this hides deep, hidden, heartbreak. As this book develops, he comes into his own and learns to live in the light. Greg has been burying his grief at losing Eliza, his Lizzie. His best friends sister and love of his life. When she would not follow him to his rock stardom. Lizzie herself is damaged and angry. She lives her life hiding in her home town, looking after her mother and not regretting her decision. When Greg and Elizas paths cross Greg sees the woman he cannot forget, and Eliza is just reminded of everything she lost. The emotion and pain bleed from the page. The joy and happiness pull you in making everything that went before so valid. I loved this book and highly recommend it, the series and author.
I loved Greg's story. Greg landed his dream job, but it meant he lost his first love, Lizzie, since she wouldn't follow him. One night, he learns what happens in Vegas and stays in Vegas, but Greg finds it can't be forgotten, and he has to take action to fix the error of his ways. Tragedy strikes, and he has to rerun home to Ireland urgently when his best friend Floyd has a tragic accident. He runs into the love of his life, Lizzie, once again. Will the pair regret decisions past and reunite, or will they be destined only to be friends? I received an arc for my voluntary honest review for NNBB. If you love a rock star romance with angst and all the emotions, you will love this book. Although this is Book Five in the Pulsetunes Rock Gods Series, it is able to be read as a standalone. If you haven't read the other books in the series once you have read this book you will want to read them to find out about the other members in the band.
Greg's story certainly didn't go the way I thought it might, following on from the "incident" in Las Vegas. It continued straight after Until Korry and although it technically doesn't have to be read first, I would recommend it.
Greg Booker, the wild, unpredictable, spontaneous and somewhat impulsive bassist, was gorgeous. Hidden beneath his partying ways was a broken heart of gold and a loyal and caring soul. I loved how we discovered this throughout and why he acted like he did. I'm not going to give any more away as there were some twists and turns with his love life, but to say the woman who had his heart grew up a lot during this book. I wasn't sure I liked her to start with, but her reasons and reactions showed her own heartbreak and insecurities.
Although this is the last book in this series, I'm sure we will see more of Jude, Levi, Deakon, Korry and Greg in the future. The rock music world KL Shandwick has created is full of amazing characters and we saw quite a few special cameos here.
Until Greg was another fabulous book to conclude this series about the rock stars from Screaming Shadows and the women who claim their hearts. I've loved every one!
Until Greg by K.L. Shandwick is the story of Greg. Greg only loved on person his whole life…but, that’s over and never going to be again. So, he goes through quite a few ladies in search of ‘the one’.
This story was so heart-breaking! Greg desperately wants what he can’t have and tries to find solace elsewhere. But, there’s just no getting over his first love. When they meet up again later, he realizes he can’t be without her. However, she is adamant that they will never get together. His past tends to get in the way as well.
Though this story can be read as a standalone, it’s so much more enjoyable if you have read the entire series. Each of the previous characters make their presence here and it’s delightful to see where they’ve all gone since their stories! Touching, tender, heart aching, emotional, turbulent, and hugely romantic…I adored this read!
Wow this was so different to what I was expecting and not in a bad way Let me start off by saying how much I loved Greg he is impulsive, reckless at times but is loyal and strong Greg has never had a proper relationship apart from Eliza who he left home in Ireland to join the band His life with the band is completely different to that home in Ireland and enjoys his rockstar status with the ladies. He remains friends with his best friend at home and has never lost touch. After a call from his brother Greg rushes home to be with his best friend and family after a serious accident. This book is cleverly written and from different characters perspectives I absolutely loved Greg's character and loved his story more. 5*
If you love rockstar romances that are raw and gritty with lots of passion, love and stories that will have your emotions all over the place look no further than Ms Shandwick’s Pulse Tunes Rock Gods Series. Until Greg is the final book in this series and I was sad to see the world of rockstars come to an end but the best was left for last and the series ended with a bang. K.L. Shandwick is the Queen of rockstar romances she knows what her fans want and she writes stories from her heart. I have loved everything about this amazing series but I’m sticking my neck out to say Greg is the man for me. Until Greg is a well written, emotional journey that captivated me from the first line to the last word.
Until Greg is the fifth and final book in the Pulse Tunes series, and these guys definitely went out with a bang!
If you have read the previous books you will already know at the end of the last one, Greg had gotten himself into a little pickle, so going in, I thought I knew where Greg was headed, but boy was I wrong!
Greg is an Irish rouge and bassist for the Screaming Shadows. His choice to follow his dream meant leaving behind the only girl he'd ever really love, but when he receives a call regarding his best friend Floyd he soon finds himself back in Ireland and face to face with the girl who stole his heart years ago, Eliza.
K.L. Shandwick definitely threw me for a loop in the best way with this story. I can not recommend this book and series enough.
Until Greg was a bit of a surprise for me. I enjoyed the Suprise wedding in Vegas to Annie. I thought the story was going to go back to them but instead it goes back to his high school sweetheart Eliza (Lizzie). You know Greg holds a torch for her throughout the whole story. He always compares others to his Lizzie. I did enjoy his other love interests as well but his heart was always Lizzie's. I love how they rehashed the past so that they could move forward. Lizzie annoyed me at first about how she lashed out towards Greg. Floyd's accident was the push they both needed to talk about how they were going to move forward. I loved the story.
Until Greg is book 5 in the amazing series The Pulsetunes Rock Gods written by the talented author This is Greg and Lizzie's second chance romance story. All I can say at this point is K.L, you have done it again. The story was filled with plenty of drama, amazing characters, tension, lots of emotions, heat and sparks, sizzling chemistry, lots of famous musicians, romance and a lovely end. Greg is now my favorite rock star!!!! It's sad that this is the last book in this amazing rock star series. Grab it up, you won’t be sorry you did.
Pulsetunes Rock Gods Book 5 was an outstanding ending to this series! Sad to end the Rockstar's stories. Greg's story is amazing. You think on the outside he's a bad boy, but once you get to know him he's a lot more then that. He will do anything for his friends and family. There is a lot of ups and downs in this story, but getting to know Greg is a must. This for sure is a hard book to put down. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it's a must read!
Until Greg was the perfect ending to K.L. Shandwick's Pulsetunes Rock Gods series. I enjoyed every book and would like to thank K.L. and Serena Worker at DS Book Promotions for giving me the opportunity to ARC read this great series.
One of my favorite scenes from Until Greg was when Greg was at the Oscars with Lori Sinclair and he meets and talks to a certain popular actor (I won't say who so I don't spoil the book for anyone who hasn't read it yet.)
I'm sad to see the Pulsetunes Rock Gods series come to an end but I look forward to reading whatever K.L. Shandwick decides to write next and also reading some of her other books. 🙂
*I received an ARC from DS Book Promotions and am voluntarily leaving a review.
K.L. Shandwick Until Greg (PULSETUNES ROCK GODS Book 5) Greg & Eliza They were in love from early on, her brother being his best friend. Then Greg won the bass guitar position in the band, and her ultimatum left him adrift without her. This was a book with angst, and crippling fear overcome by love. It was so good! Triggers: mentions of domestic violence and child abuse.
Greg Booker might be the newest member of Screaming Shadows, but he sure keeps life interesting. When he finds himself back in Dublin and facing Eliza, aka Lizzie, will he finally win her back, or is his new life not something she can handle? It is a great series dealing with real issues. I can't wait for what's next. I received an ARC, and this is my honest review.
Greg's story is amazing. He's a lot deeper person than previously suggested. What he will do for friends and family knows no bounds. There's some twists and turns in his life, and other surprises. This is a hard book to put down. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pretty good book.. Second chance love, best friend sister, kind of book.. Some drama and some mild steamy scenes... Don't know if this is the last book in this series but it was a good book...
