We wrote this book as a companion to Through the Mists of Faerie. There is no particular order that you need to read them in, but we do suggest that you read them both.

Here, I'm slowly comming to the last page of this magical guide-book written by the brilliant authors - the Silver Elves.

And indeed, “The Elven Way” book takes the reader beyond the field of the known and lays the road into the forest of unknown, revealing new, wonderful and exciting secrets about the world of Magic, the Path of the Elves and rich elven heritage.

It is a very fascinating work that illuminates the theme of the High Elven Spirituality, and High Elven Magick, the Philosophy of the Elven Way and the Teaching of the Elves.
It also tells about the Shining Ones, the ancient elves, our guardians - highly advanced and light divine creatures that help and protect the modern elven folk today.

The book tells about the psychology and of course, the spiritual component of each person – and the development of this component, spirit too! The book provides a vast reservoir of knowledge about how this world is arranged and how it works, what is the Elven Spiritual Path and who are the elves!
I consider this book as a keeper of Pure Elven Wisdom.

And for me it was really a book that could enlighten, inspire me and make me think about something. It can teach to look on the world in a deeper way!!!!!
It is a very deep, very interesting and useful work, written for all - those who are only in search of the right spiritual path and for those who is already following a certain spiritual path.

For me this book is a magical treasure, and it takes pride of place on my first bookshelf!
I'm sure I'll read it again and again and maybe pass on to my children and grandchildren as a guide for life and for their magical way!

The Elven Way is one of the most enjoyable books I have read in the field of elven literature. I have read it three times now! It really feeds the soul and explains the magical spiritual path of the elves in such beautiful and clear language. If you are looking for books on elven philosophy and magic, I highly recommend all of the books by the Silver Elves (They have 39 and I have read over half of them) and The Elven Way is really a must read and my favorite.

The Elven Way is both powerfully informing and engrossing. Almost every section of the book is enthralling in its own right, and together the chapters create a rich picture of the mystical, magical, spiritual path of the elven folk, providing a thought-provoking glimpse of their connection to the Shining Ones – the Source of Enlightenment. The Silver Elves write with impressive narrative force, coherence, and emotional resonance. The result is the distinct Silver Elves, an utterly riveting work of nonfiction that illuminates an otherwise unknown realm of Elfin. It is not data or the scientific proof, that can be too complex, too cumbersome, too abstract to persuade even agnostics, much less the sceptics, but the Silver Elves’ storytelling, for “the universe is made of stories, not of atoms”; its understanding, whatever the composition of it may be, is the work of stories, not of science. And what is really needed is a new rhetoric by which to illustrate it, in a simple yet compelling way, as the book, The Elven Way, does it. A wonderful read. Highly recommended.

This is a tough one. Reading was somewhat slow going, since it is rather dense, but the ideas presented here are an intriguing mix of Wicca, Taoism, and general New Age ideology that is stunningly close to ideas I have had for some time. It used some pretty strange turns of phrase that were cute at first, but wore a bit as the book went on. It also used a set of gender-neutral pronouns which makes sense given the subject matter, though I would have chosen a different set. It also suffered from a distinct lack of good proofreading and editing, particularly in the second half of the book, but if you can get by those things, and the fact that this is apparently not the first book here, and some of the ideas aren't fully explained here, then there are some really profound insights here.

The Elven Way has a unique and enchanting way of presenting magic and the magical path, very much in harmony with nature and ancient wisdom. This is an excellent book to assist in developing personal magical potential and I particularly liked the section on realms and dimensions and occult laws. While quite a bit was new to me, I found myself nodding 'yes' to most of what I read.

2.5 stars. This book has a lot of good information... Repeated over and over again with little to no elaboration. If you read the first half of the book you can go ahead and put it down.

Very little information about what makes this path the ELVEN path and not just magick with elves. We get it, co-operation and Shining Ones, but can you actually tell us more about the elf parts of elven magick and not just say for the Nth time to master your own psychology or that you gotta find other elves to Collab with? Their emphasis on joining elven groups makes more sense when you realize they run a bunch on Facebook, but I digress.

They introduced a lot of seemingly cool concepts without ever explaining them. The one that really interested me was about the astrological influences in helping find a Shining One guide but the most you get is them saying that astrology influences and that's it. Cool, I already knew that, but *how*? They introduce the 7 Rays of Manifestation and the 7 Root Races with the 7 Subroot Races and this and that but don't expect any kind of explanation.

The one thing I do really like about this book, however, is that it carries a kind of kindness that is rare in witchcraft and spirituality books. I also really do like the philosophy of the path, I just would've wished for a book that didn't reiterate the same 5 points over and over again.
