I bought this on a whim, because of that cover. Wouldn't you? I balked a little at the price, since $4.88 seems steep for a self pub that isn't well known. However, I was intrigued with the premise and I went ahead and bought it anyway.

This wasn't terrible. There were several editing issues, which makes me think the author didn't pay for someone to look at it. Several instances where the author confused "wondering" and "wandering." Yikes. At that price point, I want a polished, finished novel and this wasn't it.

What bothers me the most is that I felt cheated by the ending. There were some MAJOR plot holes that the author didn't resolve in this book. There were some issues with a rival gang which involved Dallas, and the author never told us what they were. It's a series, according to info in the back of the book, but the author still didn't give me any answers. I'm all about conflict and suspense, but in this case we get NOTHING. I read through the whole thing, only to get to the end and absolutely NOTHING has happened. What I'm told at the beginning of the story is what I still know at the end. Completely frustrating. I feel tricked. Juped. Like all the author wanted to do was get me to the end of the book so I could buy the next at another ridiculously outrageous price.

Also, this was all very insta-love. And the MC's don't know anything about each other either! If done well, the insta-love can make sense, but in this case it really didn't. It was too easy. The relationship was too easy. She hopped on board with the MC lifestyle too easily. Needed more tension. More conflict.

Great premise, hot cover model but unfortunately, it failed to deliver. Admittedly, if it'd been .99 I probably wouldn't be so outraged. But at almost $5, I didn't get my money's worth.

In my quest for more biker/MC romances...

This features a hero who is a MC President, builds houses, is an entrepreneur, a bad boy and a high society bachelor (who gets invited to things like governor balls). The story also features a heroine who is an owner of a multi-million dollar real estate business, an orphan, a control freak, a bitchy boss, a badass chick(she knows guns and how to fight), and a closet submissive. Now, tell me, do these main characters sound like superheroes?

LOL, the storyline reads like any biker/MC romance-girl meets Jax look-alike & crazy, steamy, smutty semi D/s action ensues. Yet, a bit of intrigue and insight into the inner-workings of club life tries to come out and steal the show, but never.quite.does.

This is because the author doesn't know if she wants to describe grit or glamor, so she rocks the reader unnaturally between both. Awkward. It is also because the conflict is built up like a trail of breadcrumbs until by 60% of the book you actually become aware that there IS a bigger conflict other than the heroine's indecision over whether or not she wants to be involved with an MC President.

Then, there is a series of actions, the last of which results in the hero saving the heroine, but not before some serious clues start to come together, FINALLY opening the suspense. And yup you know it...a cliffhanger! By cliffhanger standards, it's a medium one, but not minor because you know there's a big secret between the main couple; the overall conflict isn't resolved and sooooo...this author is selling her sequel by gimmick.

Some good editing, cutting out of unnecessary ornaments adorning the characters and adding in...oh, I don't know...a whole story instead of 1/2 of one would have shown me, the reader, more 'effin respect! LOL

****and now I have to wonder if Seize Me would have redeemed itself to be equal to this or still worse IF I would have finished it, LMAO! But I won't torture myself by finding out**** Biker/MC romances must be difficult to get right, I suppose:D

What do I think?

I think I am tired of reading crap based on raving goodread reviews.

I think at a time when reading is at an all time high, we are drowning in writings not worth reading.

I think the self publishing opportunities available today provide us with some chances to read worthwhile stories of talented unknown authors, but the avalanche of junk being produced gives us lottery odds of finding anything decent.

I think every Tammy, Diane, & Harriet who just decide to write a book one day on a whim without any real writing knowledge or training lowers readers expectations.....over and over again.

That is my best guess at how this book could get 4 stars as an average for over 2000 reviews. Either that or authors are paying for reviews to sucker more people into buying their nonsense dribble.

Well I guess I got suckered.

The characters are far from being developed. They were unlikable and bipolar. I felt like someone decided to copy a 5 year old's style of rambling through a story. Their relationships and interactions made little sense. The plot was very thin.

I battled with the rating on this book; but in the end decided on a three stars. I find myself for the first time ever, not caring much for the hero in the story. In my opinion, he came off as uncaring, self-centered, and demanding in an unpleasant way. I am a huge lover of "alpha males" in the stories that I read. The more possessive they are the better. Even when they come across as demanding, it is done in away that shows they highly respect their woman; and her comfort and needs always come first.
This is the story of Luke Carmical, the head of Devil’s Renegades Motorcycle Club and Dallas Knox; who is a billionaire that others think of as a bitch. There is a mutual attraction between the couple, and the sex is the best Dallas has had. As their relationship grows, Dallas has a lot to learn about the Club world and the members who Luke labels as his family. Of course, nothing is smooth sailing in this world, and there is another club that is out to get Luke. It seems that even though Luke is the target, Dallas may be in danger too.
This book had all of the characteristics that the other Biker books have; but for some reason the story just fell flat most of the time. Luke's attitude bugged me to the point where I just plain didn't care for him. When Dallas is severely ill and taken to the hospital, Luke doesn't even go and see her. Instead he has business with his club, and that always comes first. That made me angry!! When I read a romance book, I expect the man pretty much walk on water for her! Thats the way it should be!

Holy Shit Balls...!!!
WHAT.A.RIDE...!!

That was awesome!!! Ok at this very moment I am cursing up a storm because I did not expect that ending...!!! It wasn't a bad one, it wasn't a good one, it wasn't one that I wanted and it definitely was not one I was expecting. Come to think of it...I kinda knew that was gonna happen coz there were only a few pages left and the story wasn't anywhere near being finished but what I can conclude from my rant is that I loved it!

Dallas is a self made millionaire. She owns a successful business and is at the top of her game but there is only one issue...she needs some lovin....well only for the night. She recently found her boyfriend in bed with another woman, and not even one worthy to walk on the same ground she walked on. She's kinda of a self absorbed bitch who gets what she wants when she wants and has no qualms fighting whoever to get it. So...she finds herself in at a local bar tryna scope out the crowd and when she thinks she has found her would be bed buddy for the night, she is sadly mistaken when he turns out to be a slobby perve with grabby hands. She then literally stumbles across her knight in shining armour Luke Carmical, a bad ass biker with eyes as blue as the ocean and a body that would put greek gods to shame.
Luke is President of the Devils Renegades Motorbike Club. He never thought his night would include a saving a gorgeous girl from some perverted asshole, or even looking after said girl by taking her home for the night. He is not looking for a relationship and has his own demons in his closet but for some reason he cannot resist the pull between him and Dallas. She is like no other woman he has ever encountered, and even though he knows that when she learns his secrets she will run, he can't find it in his heart to let her go.

Ok I know I totally suck right now but I can't find it in myself to give you more about this book without spoiling it for you all!

I thoroughly enjoyed it! This was definitely a random one click for me! I couldn't resist those abs on the cover...I know “you should never judge a book by it's cover”...blah blah blah but gah damn look at them?! Aren't they pretty???!! ok so I admit I only bought this book because I couldn't resist the abs and I didn't even read the blurb *shame on me* but I don't care coz I loved the book!

I loved the fast pace. Loved Dallas' take no shit attitude, living life to the fullest and no regrets sorta philosophy. Loved Luke and his outrageous Alpha tendencies, his swoon worthy soft side that will melt your insides and of course those gorgeous baby blues and lets not forget what got me into this whole thing to begin with...those gorgeous lickable abs that you could probably fry an egg on coz they so hot...reeeoowwww...!

Ok ok I'll stop I think I'm getting a bit carried away here! This story was awesome. I loved the story line, it seemed outrageous at times but it was great. The story of Luke and Dallas is not near finished, it ain't even half way finished so I will definitely be waiting for the next book! I would highly recommend it to everyone!

I hate books like this. Ones that feel like the author is just writing about themselves and what they think they would like. No actual character development. Extremely immature writing. I mean at page41, she already thought she was in love? Leading up to page 41 she went home with a biker guy she met at a bar, slept in his bed, did a strip tease, had an orgasm when he went down on her but didn't fuck him, as HE wanted to take it slow......I kept reading just for the amusement factor.
My favourite bit leading up to page 41, was how full of herself she was. She knew she was gorgeous, which is not a bad thing. A confident girl is always a gorgeous girl, but when a guys tells you how beautiful you are, your response, no matter how hot you are, should never be " I know".... The book redeemed itself a little from there and i finished it, but with extreme disappointment when I realised it was the 1st book in a trilogy.
If your 18 and narcissistic, then you'll probably like Dallas and tis book. If you're older, more realistic, and need more depth to your characters then this book will irritate you. Problem is, if you do read this, you will want to know what happens next, so on that the author did a good job.

I found so many things “Wrong” with this book that is a miracle I finished it. OK, where to start…
The quotes were all jumbled together. There were MANY instances where I had to re-read the sentences twice to understand who said what.

I felt all throughout the book like big chunks of the story were cut out, leaving the reader to guess what had happened in between scenes.

First Dallas was a spoiled, conceited brat who did not trust anyone, and then all of a sudden, she is BFF with her Assistant. She was a class A b-tch one minute and a clingy, insecure girl the next.

The story of the book could have been good, but the delivery of it screwed it up badly. There was absolutely no development of the characters. I finished the book still feeling detached from all the characters. The one that was developed the most; Dallas, was the one character who annoyed the crap out of me.

I would suggest the author does a little more research of the MC world before venturing to write the sequel of this book if she wants it to be successful at all.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!
I was hoping that maybe with the good reviews and all that "Saving Dallas" could perhaps meet up to the hype of motorcycle gang books like Kristen Ashley's 'Own the Wind' or 'Fire Inside" but this doesn't even come close!

The plot was boring, the pacing was slow, there were a few typos in the text, and the characters were so annoying!! Especially Dallas!! So whiny and immature. And Luke, well, I didn't see the hype about him really. Nothing extraordinary about him.

These characters just did not mesh for me. I could not see how Luke and Dallas work as a couple. There's no chemistry at all.

And the sex scenes! They were LAME.

Sorry guys, "Saving Dallas" wasn't able to even save itself from the likes of me. Bleh.

I'm going to be nice and say this book was not for me. It may be for some but again not for me. The story was all over the place, it was not believable and the way she ended it made me yell out OH COME ON!!!!

The sad truth is that I'll pick up book two cause I wanna know more. I'm a glutton for punishment.

I am once again completely baffled by the number of glowing reviews for this book!

Dallas is the most shallow, dense, clingy, stupid character I think I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. She is a highly successful, ambitious, smart business savy millionaire 26 yr old. Yet, she has unprotected sex with a complete stranger who takes her home from a bar to his place! Within hours of meeting they are in love. She is a no nonsense alpha bitch one minute and a whiny, complaining child the next. I hoped for her death at a third of the way through.

Supporting characters and Luke were not easy to care about either and went undeveloped. The plot was slow moving and fizzled out. There really was very little in the way of story line to begin with.

Skip this MC book.

I Loved this book..Once I got into the story with all the twists and turns, I couldn't put it down, it didn't bother me that there was no mention of a second book until the very end of this, I can handle that, what I can't handle is the bugger of a cliff hanger!! That sucked!! I want book 2 now!!

Gah, this chick was so annoying!

It's too late to DNF this book (since I already finished it and all...) but if I'd do it all again I'd probably give up on this book pretty soon. Boring, cliche, annoying characters. The male char wasn't too bad, only thing that saved this book a bit.

2.5 stars... Let me preface this with the fact that I LOVE Alpha Men.. add in some tattoos and a bike, well

Dallas Knox was a character that I could not stand. You know the kind that if they spontaneously combusted in front of you, you'd actually have to think really really really hard before even wasting a drop of your own spit to potentially save them-- yeah, she was it for me. I had a very hard time connecting to her.

Being five foot four with a body most people only dream of can get you a lot when it comes to men. Not to mention my long, silky brown locks, my perfect teeth, and a smile that would make the devil himself bow down.

Luke Carmical, oh Luke... totally Bad A$$, yet so beautifully tender.

I would move heaven and earth for you Dallas. I will spend the rest of my days making you happy. I have loved before, but never like this.

But their relationship is based on LIES , OMISSIONS and a whole lot of CRAZY-- both main characters seem to be a bit bipolar. However with the cliffhanger style ending, you really don't find out the depth of Luke's lies , but he does say he's a bad person.

Am I going to read the next two books to see if there really is any redemption in Dallas? Yes, because I love a bit of drama and non endings piss me off.

As others have pointed out, there are several areas that desperately need an editor's attention. Own is used when On should be and vice versa. Sense versus Since and Decoy versus Deploy... is it a bad read? No, but it could be so much better.

Writing wise the book was excellent, Character wise? Not so much. Not at all
We have this rich spoiled bish sitting in a bar feeling sorry for herself because her boyfriend dumped her for a 5 (and she is a 10, ummmm ok?).
She is out to find herself a one nighter...she literally has some altercation with a cowboy when she gets rescued by our hero Luke... (supposed goon, as she calls him and his bikers) he takes her home, leaves her hanging..and the next day she is already sending a thank you note to cupid and the unicorns...bla bla bla.. Two days later she is practicing the I love you. Luke then shows his other 3 personalities as well, so they fit together great!

Dallas
Spoiled
Self-centered
Doesn't like the word no
However she loves when he tells her to STFU
She doesn't like domination/she loves domination

Luke
He is our on Christian Grey on X
Atleast 5 personalities (and lucky us we get to meet all 5)

So this is what I am not understanding, she calls his biker gang, dirty goons, but within 2 days she considers herself in love with him and considers the "goons" her family? What have I missed???

I literally saved myself 50 dollars..I didn't have to go to Kings Dominion to ride the roller coasters, I got to watch (read, hahaha) one from the front seat (in my bed).

Despite the huge editing issues...I really enjoyed this one...heads up...I will beta read and edit Saving Dallas #2 just to get an advanced copy! Cheers!

Just read Kim's blog and there is NO WAY this book could be a 1 star!!! My 4 star rating was primarily based upon the edits and typos that are jarring when I am totally grooving on the story, the awesome (real) characters...
Try this one out if you love MC or love stories with angst!

More questions left unanswered than answered, but I am hooked.....on a MC Gang and it's not Chaos....

The whole CDC (which mean Cunts Don't Count, BTW) naturally pissed me off, but Luke never expressed that sentiment. Love him. He reminds me a great deal of another sweetie pie MC Prez. Cannot wait for the next book!

I only made it to Chapter 8. This book is pretty awful. Bad character development, ridiculous insta-love with a mix of nonsenscial angst, and multiple editing mistakes.

Had I spent money on this book by itself, I would have demanded a refund. Thankfully, I got it as part of an anthology, and the other books made up for this dud.

aust read Saving Dallas & it is by far one of my favorite reads of 2013 so far, and in my 10 favorites of all I have read which is close to 300 just since last September. This story is raw and captures your heart & breaks it all at once but in such a good way. I can't wait for book 2.... you are a gifted writer & I thank you for this book. Your talent is shown in this first book & I can't imagine it getting any better but look forward to you surpassing all expectations.
Thank you for the originality of a common theme that you made fresh and new all on its own!!

It is a must read!!!

Love this cover!!!

I've somehow managed to read this series in completely random order - this should have been first!
It hasn't really mattered, I don't think? The story is still great!

Had a knock a star off, the writing wasn't up to the standard of KJ's later books...*sighs*...its probably 4.5 story/4 for the writing to be clearer!

I didn't particularly like Dallas for most of this one, nor Luke for some of it but as the story played out, we learn that there's a lot more to their characters that'll be explained in book two, so I'm diving straight in...

As a blogger and an avid reader I have read my share of books ranging from sweet and loving to down right erotic and disturbing. But I have a special place in my heart of bikers and no matter what I am reading I will drop it just to read it. Not every single one I have read has been great but I have to say that Saving Dallas ranks among my top 5 favorite books about Bikers. The first thing that drew me to this book was the cover. I happened by chance to see it while I was looking at another book on Amazon and I knew I had to have it!

In this book we meeting Dallas Knox a millionaire who owns her own real estate company who has been in a funk for the past few months and is looking for one thing and one thing only a one night stand. She knows she looks good, she knows she can have any man she wants, so she intends to find it that night. What she doesn't expect is to be saved from a wannabe cowboy by none other than a member of a MC; but not just any member the president of the Devil's Renegade Motorcycle Club Luke Carmichael. Luke saves her from being humiliated and takes her home with him to take care of her. He doesn't take advantage of her all he does is care for her. Due to this fact I had a hard time believing this was going to be a book I would like especially when he said he wanted to take things slow and wouldn't take advantage of her. I was seriously sitting there scratching my head like WTF?!?

But as the story progressed I started to become fascinated with the man that is Luke Carmichael. He was loving one minute and bad ass biker the next I just couldn't figure him out. Dallas almost gives up on the first man to make her FEEL differently about herself when he takes her to meeting the club and she sits in the corner and is literally ignored by Luke. He talks to the men and hugs women but he doesn't so much as pay any attention to Dallas and it hurts her. One of the girls, Red, tries to explain to her that that's how it has to be that she will learn but she has to do exactly what Luke tells her to do. But she doesn't listen running into an old friend she hasn't seen in years, she begins to talk to him and Luke loses it dragging her out of the bar to yell at her. When he's done he storms back inside not even sparring her a backwards glance. Hurt and dejected she calls the one and only person she can her assistant Lindsey. Dallas has never felt the need to be nice to Lindsey after all she's her assistant but Lindsey makes her see the light and soon they become fast friends and begin to hang out. Dallas realizes she has lost her chance with Luke when he says that he wishes her the best and that he hopes to see her soon again someday.

Dallas goes back to her life but with a new outlook growing closer to Lindsey as the days pass, but Luke is always in the back of her mind. They run into one another not too long after that and he saves her once again from getting a DUI when her and Lindsey get hammered at a bar one night. I found it sad that even when being face to face with Luke again and being given a second chance she still doesn't take it; allowing him to walk away once again. It's not until she goes to a formal dinner event in which she is attending to expand her growing real estate business that she finds herself in his presence again. I am further left scratching my head when it's revealed that Luke owns a construction company. She finally gives in and goes home with Luke. From here the sparks start to fly and from that moment I knew I was hooked. It was interesting to watch Dallas find herself and deal with her issues that she's lived so long with; but never allowing Luke to see or find out what the real her is like.

But with every story there are secrets, and secrets are what define what happens in the relationships. Secrets have a way of rearing their ugly head at the worst moments. So when Dallas returns from a trip to Tupelo in which someone tried to kill her only to find Luke more distant than before taking phone calls in the other room, worried that Dallas will leave him when he announces he has something he needs to tell her, and just acting differently Dallas begins to worry. So when the secrets surface what will happen? I can't tell you that as much as I would LOVE to, you will just have to read for yourself to find out. There are so many things left unanswered in the first book and when I got towards to end of the book not knowing that there was going to be another book I thought for sure the author was going to rush through the ends so I was delighted to discover there are going to be two more books in this series. What exactly is Luke hiding? Who is he really? What is Dallas not tell him? Who exactly is this rival MC gang? So many questions, so little answers and I want more and I know it will be worth the wait. Well done Kim Jones I give it 5 stars!

I am so disappointed in this book. I am determined to only read completed series, so I feel like I have waited forever for the series to be complete and start Saving Dallas. First, I want to say I am so glad I caught this book on sale and only spent $0.99 because if I had spent the $3.88 it is currently listed for, I would have been furious. I was looking forward to this book. I really enjoy MC books, both dark biker books and biker-lite. I think the overall storyline of this book was good, but it felt so rushed and so much happened in the 242 pages that I think I have whiplash. First of all, I am not a huge fan of insta-love, but this was over-the-top insta-love. They were declaring their love before they knew much more than just their names. And, WHY does Luke love Dallas? She was either being a hard-core bitch or a wimpy cry baby the entire book. I am all for fiction and can usually put aside "reality" when reading a book, but I have a very hard time buying into the fact that Dallas was 26, an orphan, who was able to become a multi-millionaire real estate tycoon that EVERYONE seems to know. It would have been more believable if she was 36, not 26. Plus, wouldn't someone who had achieved so much be more mature? As for Luke, I agree he is romantic, but again WHY??? And, he is supposed to be this big, bad biker, but he is a beta male, not alpha. For a true Alpha, try reading some of Kristen Ashley's heros. He was wimpy and then, if he got mad, he acted like a 2-year-old throwing a temper tantrum. Not sexy! The entire book was rushed, including the steamy parts. I didn't feel any chemistry between the two, which made the insta-love even more unbelievable. I didn't even feel like they had insta-lust, so couldn't buy into the love, at all. The MC wasn't even really a part of the book. We met several of the members, but that was the only interaction except a minor role for Red and Reg. Dallas told Luke that she loved his club, but she hadn't spent more than about 15 minutes with any of them. Finally, the writing. Even with a rushed love story, I can usually tolerate it if the writing is up to par. But, did she even use an editor? There were so many cases of mis-used words, incorrect words, missing words, and run-on sentences, that sometimes I had to re-read a paragraph a couple of times to figure out what she was trying to say. I can usually overlook a few grammatical errors, and, since I am not an English teacher, they usually have to be pretty bad for me to catch. I felt like she was just rushing toward the end of the book, instead of taking time to flesh out the story and make it more enjoyable to read. I did finish the book, but I will not be continuing the series. Yes, I do kind of wonder about the cliffhanger ending, but I am not willing to pay the $3.99 for book 2 and $4.88 for book 3. I am definitely questioning the 4&5 star reviews and wondering what other books they have read. Maybe, in comparison, this book isn't so bad. But, I would recommend lots of other books prior to this one. I may have to re-read a Kristen Ashley book to get my alpha male fix after this disappointment.

After finishing one of Kirsten Ashley Dream Man novels recently, was on a biker bad boy kick. Should know that anything else pales in comparison, so unfair disadvantage already against any other author, but this was another striking example of when a good storyline goes bad due to poor writing.

Dallas is a wealthy woman with deceased parents who has a hidden past. One night she meets Lucas, construction owner/biker president, while falling at a bar one night. Fast forward 24-48 hours and now they are falling in love. (*Sigh, hate when authors think saying the words alone will make us readers believe it.)

Middle of novel is spent having stupid jealous misunderstandings and going hot one minute cold the next towards one another. Seriously I feel like I got whiplash from these mercurial characters! And when I say hot, mean it figuratively, cause even the sex scenes were lukewarm. Scenes were overly dramatic, has one conversation with employee who she doesn't know and suddenly "my friendship with her I knew would last forever" and I think my eyes are still twitching from the number of eye rolls I did.

Some alpha dominance came through which was enjoyable while it lasted, but Dallas being an insecure bitchy protagonist overshadowed most of it. As did Lucas not acting possessive and protective when he needed to (as a traditional alpha male does) e.g. She easily rolled over on stuff, like being admitted to the hospital and accepting excused from her boyfriend about being unable to visit.

Lastly, the formatting/editing was poor. The paragraph spacing had me confused who was speaking at times with no visible indications or attributions (he said, she said.) And several words were misspelled/misused.

I will say book got way better last 20%, plot got more creative and suspense started up with the connection unraveling between Dallas' past (although why it's 80% into the novel seems a bit late) seems author began to hit her stride, thankfully while I contemplated DNFing it prior to 50%, was curious enough to actually see that play out otherwise this would have been a 1 star novel. Hopefully her creativity builds in her second novel, although might have to take your word for it.

I have read a lot of books where the girls either start off with a lot of confidence or lack of.

Dallas had a lot of confidence, but it came off as conceited. Dallas thought she was "close to a 10" and thought to herself how could her ex-boyfriend cheat on her with a girl who worked at Arby’s, and drive a Honda? That came off as a bit b***chy to me. As I continued reading about Dallas I thought “maybe your ex cheated on you because he did not think you were all that!” However, I thought okay this book is titled Saving Dallas so maybe the heroine needs a bit b***hy so she can be “saved” from her obnoxious behavior. She really did not change.

I honestly did not see or understand what Luke saw in Dallas. Why he would want to being him with her except to have a one night stand with her. Besides her being pretty, I just did not get it. She was not very likable.
The story was good. The bickering did not bother me. I just always thought Luke could do better.

When it comes to MC books, sorry, I think the guy deserves the girl that is worthy of his love and or make him a better person. I think Dallas and Luke were anything but good for each other. Sure the sex was great but it did not connect me to the characters.
However, I want to say that I will read more by Kim Jones. Dallas and Luke’s story did not work for me, but I had no problem with the wording or flow of the story. The writing was good.

A copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Wasn't sure about this book and I'd no idea it would just end without warning, I really hate it when books do that. Well back to the book, Dallas if I had to pick one word to sum her up it would be Bitch and because she was so unlikeable it made reading this book, especially the first half more a chore than a pleasure, it didn't help that again the first half seemed slow and a bit plodding. I did stick with it however and I found myself enjoying the last part, but then I suppose that's the idea so you'll then download the next book. Luke, he seemed too good to be true in places then positively bipolar in others, this is explained along with the weird start, it's the tamest biker book I've read, these are what I think of as part time bikers, they have their lives, jobs and the club although it's stressed how important the club is it's not like in most other 'harder' books I've read where they eat and sleep biker, all living in the same compound, I'm explaining it badly but you know what I mean. As for the next book I'm going to download a sample, check out the price and then make a decision but I have to say it's unlikely.

I lust after bikers. I wanna be an Ol' Lady. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the club and their 'laws don't effect me' way of life. However...
After the first MC book I ever read...nothing has been the same. MC books just don't compare to the one I absolutely LOVE...which shall remain nameless, for the sake of this review.

So Yes, Luke Carmical is sexy, studly, HOT, and full of endurance. I didn't like Dallas at first but she grew on me. Thank GOD she got over her self...she was a little too full of herself to start. I liked the secrets that were hinted at during the story but never told...it led to a good cliff hanger for the next book. I'll continue the story to see how things unfold.

Needs editing, majorly. Heroin is not likable at all. She makes a comment about having gave up everything for the hero which was ridiculous because she didn't have to give up anything beside having to learn not to be a selfish bitch! I also feel like there's too much going on too fast and it doesn't really allow you to connect to the characters. I do like books like this but feel like this one needs to go back through some major editing and brainstorming. I also feel like this story would be better if told with dual narrating for both H and h.
