Lots of danger. No fear. Three thrill-packing adventures in a smart and sexy series, packaged in one daring book.
Gaia Moore is brilliant and beautiful. She’s trained in three kinds of martial arts, has a reflex speed that’s off the charts, and can break codes in four languages.
She’s also missing the fear gene.
It all starts with a simple game of Truth or Dare…but as the game goes on, the stakes get higher, and soon secrets are being revealed. Deadly secrets. Secrets about Gaia, who she is, and her past.
Now one of Gaia’s close friends is in danger, and it’s up to her to figure out how to, once again, be a hero. But life is full of complications and Gaia isn’t sure that she’ll be able to keep her friend safe. And if things don’t go as planned, she’ll have to decide just how far she’ll go to get revenge.
Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.
Fast paced. Gaia's story is revealed and more characters are participating in the scenes. Reading this is like riding a roller coaster, one second you're up--thrilled and lauging--and then you're down--depressed,frustrated. And that makes it a hell of an amazing read.
I love Gaia, and the series, however, when i started I thought there were only the three books, each with three books in them. I realized the story wasn't ending nearing the end of volume 3, looked it up and saw 36 books! I was disappointed. Also disappointed I can't find the rest of the series in the three bundled volumes I got the first three in. So let the hunt begin for the stand alones. I have to know Gaia's journey now.
She's such a (excuse the profanity if you consider this word as one) total badass!!! I love how she completely doesn't care what anyone else thinks of her and every time an action scene comes on, I can find myself anticipating a great 'a**-kicking' read. Bold and Beautiful.
First off, I have all three of these combined series and completely thought that the third book was the final one then I look it up on good reads and find out there's 36 books in the series...... would that mean 12 of these combined books???!! When will the other 9 come out because I would like to complete it and place them on my shelf. The covers are so pretty. :)
Secondly, this book series is great because it captivates you and when you read it, it's like having a conversation with the book. It's witty and funny and the amount of references that I get, I completely love it :D It's like a roller coaster ride, when you read this book. At points you feel high and happy with the Gaia then you also feel the times when she's been shattered beyond belief and crazed by her situations. Oh, what's a 17 year old to do in her case?
It's a great read and pretty lengthy but if you're a quick reader like myself, you'll get through one book in two days :D
Enjoy it! Feel it! Live it!
In the meantime, I guess I'm gonna go hunting for the others or waiting for the rest.
Still as great as I remember it from when I read it as a teenager. I am still shocked this series never became a TV show. It was leaps and bounds ahead of anything in the YA genre at the time and really it competes well at present too. True there are a few flaws. Obviously the CIA does NOT work in the way it is portrayed in these books. But it really doesn't need to be perfect. Gaia Moore is an amazing main character. Sure you want to slap her half the time but that's the beauty of it. She is labeled as "perfect" but she makes mistakes. She redeems herself in the end. I have never finished this series for some reason. I made it really far (there is a BUNCH of them) but I can't remember where I left off. I do hope they continue to release three books at a time like this. So I will be waiting around for Fearless 4 to be gracing my bookshelf!
Gaia turned into a really mean, cold-hearted person after Mary got killed. I wasn't expecting Mary to die and she got herself killed! Gaia's ONLY girl friend got killed by Loki!!! Loki is a very cruel and twisted person and I hope that he dies too. There wasn't much of Sam again but that's good because how did he deal with Gaia? It was a shock when Ed and Gaia weren't talking but now they have a thing/they're dating?!?! I don't ship it. I still really like how each book brings some new issues and just adds to the infinite amount of drama.
