A novel from book club favorite, Suzetta Perkins — what happens to those who are left behind in the turbulent breakup of failed love and romance?
The transition from despair to satisfaction is an emotional, and yet often hilarious road to bump along. Ex-Terminator brings a fresh view to life after divorce as four women and a man struggle to move beyond their feelings of loss, failure, and abandonment, in order to establish a sense of normalcy and discover who they really are again.
Can new love be found, even while the old still lingers and haunts everyday thoughts and actions? As these brokenhearted people form a support group to shore each other up in the midst of their stormy lives, little do they know how much they will come to mean to one another, or how each one will be changed by the healing they discover.
The Ex-Terminator is about a group of divorced people that consist of 4 women and 1 man. The group discusses their trials and tribulations after the divorce. The book is a good inspiration for others that are going through a divorce or recently divorced. Enjoyed the book!!!
This was a pretty good book about overcoming and finding love again. Although some of the characters could be a little immature in certain parts, I enjoyed reading about different characters and how they were there for each other. There book was rather long and some parts moved kind if slow. The variety of characters is what helped maintain my interest. I would definitely recommend this book.
I thought it was a great book. Although long it kept my interest. The most interesting characters were Rachel & Marvin and Mona & Michael. Regardless it was a good read that I would love to discuss at a bookclub.
Very good novel. Well defined characters make for an unforgettable read throughout. Loved the drama each couple brought to the table. My favorite character was Claudette. She was so feisty and genuine.
