Isabella Trueblood made history reuniting people torn apart by war and an epidemic. Now, generations later, Lily and Dylan Garrett carry on her work with their agency, Finders Keepers. Circumstances may have changed, but the goal remains the same.
Lost: Her first and only love Chelsea Jensen had no idea her father had been to blame for her heartbreak when Jack Shane disappeared from the Wishing Tree Ranch. Ten years later, the betrayal still burned.
Found: A check A canceled check that explained everything. Or almost. Now she knew why he'd left her. But she didn't know if he'd loved her. Had she just been too young and too blind to see the truth? She was determined to track Jack down - wherever he was - and find out!
B.J. Daniels started her life in Houston, Texas, before her family moved to Montana at age five. She grew up in a cabin in the Gallatin Canyon near Big Sky and later on Hebgen Lake near West Yellowstone. Because of her love for Montana, most of her books are set there. Born into a storytelling family, all she'd ever wanted to do was write stories. After a career as an award-winning newspaper journalist, she wrote and sold 37 short stories before she finally wrote her first book, ODD MAN OUT. Since then she has won numerous awards including a career achievement award for romantic suspense. She lives in Montana with her husband, Parker, two Springer Spaniels. When she isn't writing, she quilts, boats and. makes rope/fabric baskets. She always reads, loving to lose herself in a good book.
As always B.J. Daniels delivers an amazing, entertaining and enjoyable read.Mystery, suspense, thrills and action.A story that will keep you guessing from the very beginning to the end. Thanks
Chelsea found something in her deceased father's den. She is on a mission to clear Jack's name. There is danger all due to her questions. Jack finds he is still in love with Chelsea. The suspense kicks up when Chelsea goes missing. Thankfully, Sam gives her dad a clue.
Quick hole some read. Mystery, intrigue and love what can you ask more of from a book. Oh yea cowboys! You will never guess who the actual cattle rustler was either.
Another good book from Ms Daniels. It has lots of emotions, laughter and that twist of mystery that completes the overall story. Never wrong with one of her books.
After the unexpected pleasure of the previous one I read in the series, The Cowboy Wants a Baby, this one fell short. The story was unrealistic, poorly described baddy plot. The heroine was a bit presumptuous with her ten year old expectations. What saved it was Sam, a wonderful 8 year old character, with lots of spunk. I love the quote of to her, everything was either "amazingly cool" or "too horrible for words," nothing was simply "fine."
I felt that the main story between Chelsea and Jack was easy enough to follow, but felt as if i was missing something in the larger plot arc that I think spread through all the Trueblood books.
