A stand-alone by USA Today & WSJ Bestselling Author, Terri Anne Browning.
Brooke I didn’t wake up one day and decide to be a Disney princess, but for the last six months, I’ve been living the dream. Of course, that dream includes screaming little girls at birthday parties every weekend. At least there’s cake. When my roommate offers to cover my share of the rent if I work her friend’s little girl’s party, I don’t hesitate. Only…she forgets to mention a few things. Like that I would love the birthday girl the moment I met her. Or that the man who let me down seven years ago would crash the party. And she definitely didn’t say anything about the jerk single father who just happens to be the hottest man on the planet. Paxton Foster is nowhere close to being Prince Charming… But he sure does spend a lot of time rescuing me.
Paxton No amount of money could make up for the mistakes of my past, but I’ve been trying. And then Brooke stormed into my life like a Category 5 hurricane, turning everything in my world upside down. Yet suddenly, it seems right side up for the first time. There are a billion reasons why I can’t have her. I have secrets. She’s far too young. And then there’s the small matter of her hating my best friend. But she is exactly what my daughter and I need, and I’ll do whatever I have to in order to keep her. With Brooke, I feel as if I can finally find redemption. I mean.....I didn't dnf and finished the book so it's not a one star and I didn't hate......all of it. The beginning waa good!
Poor, working class h who works at a catering company full time and then as a princess party person on the weekends. She (i forgot her name!!!!! And i just read it!!!!! 😬😬😂😂🤷) goes to a party with her roommate Sariah (buy I remembered her roommates name....wtf!? 😂😂). The party is for a little 6 year old girl who loves star wars than princesses and her father is a billionaire mma fighter who now owns thirty or so private gyms around the us. He meets h for the first time and loves that she's demanding he apologize to her roommate for being rude about something ....me forget . she sees her uncle there who is best friends with the mms fighter H. Her mom died and then her dad and stepmother shipped her off to a boarding school that would jail her and abuse her 🤔🤷🤷 she would be abused and starved constantly so PTSD from that. She gets migraines. Loved the scene where he takes care of her ❤
Ooh! Brooke is her name! Lol, damn, my oldness 😭😭 anyway, I really hate the nanny trope because who else they gonna fall in love with besides the ready and available pussy right there?!!!???!! 😂😂😂😬 that's why I stopped reading that boring Elsie silver nanny book even though people rave about it. Slow as fuck book.....anyhoo. Brooke loses her catering job AND her princess jobs in one swoop so she takes a temporary job as the little girls nanny 🤦
they move super quick from the beginning.
And then......😂😂😂😂😂😂
You know the book perfect strangers where the book just goes from one thing to another thing like inception? (You pressed the spoiler button so if you don't know now, you will). This is what all the revelations felt like at the end! Like.....sigh wtfuckery was to be had......
Her roommate sariah was the Hs daughter!!!! And she has feelings for HS best friend Luc, who is also h's uncle. H had sariah with the evil cackling whorebag joselynn? So it turns out the little girl is really his granddaughter 😬😬😂😂 ohmahgah..... There was so much happening, I needed to take notes (not really but 🤦🤦🤦🤷😐)
I really loved loving violet by her but this one was just meh and then the relationships at the end felt a bot incestuous 😂😂🙈

I absolutely love how Paxton Foster and Brooke Ackerman first meet. LOL! 🤣🤣 It's truly priceless.
I liked this, but for much of the book, I felt like I was missing some major details, and even though this wasn't identified as being part of a series (I stopped to check several times), I thought there was a prequel or something with details. While it turned out to be a case of several late 💣 revelations, it did leave me... confused isn't the right word, but perhaps you get where I'm going.
"Where she goes, I go. We're a package. Deal with it." (said with all the sass of a six year-old) -- Bella Foster
Bella is absolutely adorable! 💜🩷 I love how she has so many people in her corner rooting for her. The Kayla's and Janel's of the world could take a lesson.
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are James Amherst and Chloe Ryan. I liked both of them. I am fairly certain this was my first time listening to either.
Ugh this book is not my favorite. It is hard to say without giving the story away. I will just say I was sooo confused and felt mad for a good portion. I think what was suppose to shock you was ONLY done for titillation without being a thoughtful part of the book. It felt rushed and I was left asking a lot of questions. I didn’t see the resolution especially for the child in this book. Even the people who were suppose to be her people were selfish and didn’t protect her. They just gave lip service to it. I appreciate their trauma but they were adults and she was a child. Yikes. I am saying too much. I will leave now.
I feel bad saying I just didn’t like it cause this author has always on my must read list. Soo yeah this book is a no for me.
I will say the COVER is NUMMY. Don’t mind me as I wipe away the drool. Wink.
Anyway this is just my opinion. Happy Reading to everyone whatever you decide to read.
I honestly didn’t know what to expect going into this book, but I really enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down.
Firstly, being a princess at parties for little girls - dream job, check ✅ Falling for the sexy, older dad who also happens to be an MMA champ and billionaire - check✅ Falling for the precocious and adorable little girl - check ✅
Brooke has found a calling, quite by accident actually, helping to entertain at birthday parties by being a princess. When her friend, Sariah, asks for her help for a sweet six year old, Bella, Brooke is all in. That is until she arrives and meets Paxton, dad of said precious Bella and then Bella😍
Lives are turned upside down and inside out when Brooke arrives for Bella’s birthday party. Many secrets are eventually revealed that I never in my wildest dreams suspected…but could see when I reflected back on earlier chapters😳
First I have to say I LOVE TAB! Like I’ve been a fan since TRWHM and I’ve read every book she’s ever released! Like I said I’m a fan. But this book left me confused…
Careful reading ahead there are spoilers but maybe if you’ve read this you can answer my questions..
Seriously lots of spoilers
Okay last warning, I told you so…
I liked the characters, well I liked Bella and Brooke, and TAB always has that instalove sort of feeling with her characters and and there’s always the alpha vibe going on which I love so yeah you have that here but I just have so many questions.
For starters I feel like there needed to be some sort of confrontation/ resolution with Brookes dad and step monster that never came. Since she’s essentially still a missing person I thought being photographed with Paxton and Luck at the fight would bring them out of the wood work and they’d be dealt with appropriately and completely, instead I feel like their still out there just waiting to wreak havoc on their lives.
What’s going on with the migraines? The last two times TAB wrote characters with debilitating migraines they had cancer so I feel a little left on read with just a quick mention of still needing an MRI.
I just feel like there is suppose to be a part two for Brooke and Paxton. Like there wasn’t even an epilogue but all we got was hey your getting sariah and Lucks story which to be honest finding redemption unpacked more of their story then they did Brooke’s and paxtons.
I love how TAB writes relationships between kids and new love interests she always forms such incredible bonds between them like with lyla and Josie in off limits or Anya and Ryan (my all time favorite if I might add) but they’ve always seem so authentic and naturally cultivated but for some reason Brooke and Bellas relationship fell a bit flat to me. Like in one hour of conversation this 6 yo little girl suddenly trusts and is worried more for this stranger then her own father or “aunt” and “uncle”? I’m sorry but in real life I’d be concerned for abuse in the home if that were the case. And then fast forward two weeks and suddenly Brooke is the “only” who cares about her even over all the trusted adults in her life. It just doesn’t seem genuine to me. 6 y/o are so much more fickle then that and lack trust in strangers especially considering what Bella was going through. Even though that relationship felt off theirs was still my favorite out of everyone’s.
I still don’t understand why luck, after essentially looking for this girl for 6+ years, is hand delivered her and instead of trying his best to explain some pretty simple and straight forward circumstances to her so they can start forming a relationship he instead goes on a two week bender and essentially buries his head in the sand. That’s never explained.
And then there’s sariah, man I struggle with her, because yeah she’s been through a lot but in the beginning the reader is lead to believe that she’s this week fragile thing and that’s why we have to forgive her for stalking Brooke, manipulating her into living with her, then manipulating her into confronting her past, then essentially leaving Brooke with no job and no way to afford her rent or food so she’s forced to stay with Paxton and accept his offer to be his nanny. Then fast forward and here she is throwing hands at a women who makes her friend feel bad and confronting her psycho mother like a boss b**** but there’s no real talk about her personal development to make that feel authentic. Like should we pity her or celebrate her? And if she’s always been this strong willed and not sad and fragile why did we let her off the hook for all the puppet mastering she did in the beginning.
And then Paxton, he was alright I guess, I mean he definitely has the she’s mine and no one can touch what’s mine vibe going on that I love in a TAB H. But here’s where I struggle with him about 1 hour after you met this women she appropriately tells you to reevaluate your priorities and place your 6 y/o defenseless sad and lonely little girl at the top of that list and instead of listening and making the first thing you do is get to the bottom of what that means you put it off. He had sariah watch her so he could go help a stranger and then two weeks later still hasn’t prioritized time with his daughter and jets off out of town and the entire time his only concern is having to leave Brooke this new girl in his life that he doesn’t want to leave behind. Meanwhile Brooke is the only one who is thinking about Bella in all of this so yeah I guess in the end it makes sense why Bella feels the way she does but jeez how much neglect had she been experiencing from the adults in her life who are apparently the good guys in this story to feel that way about a complete stranger.
And I get that this is a story and it isn’t meant to be real like really life it’s fantasy so I shouldn’t expect real life scenarios, that’s not what I’m asking for it totally fine with insta connections just make them FEEL believable and I know TAB can. I’ve read her novellas and short stories that seem to have more authentic connection in a couple of chapters then this book seemed to accomplish in 200 pages.
I’m sorry, honestly I hate even writing this because I love TAB, I do and she is and will continue to be a one click buy author for me, but what the heck is going on?! I feel like I’m in the twilight zone or something reading her last few books. I’m not sure if she’s rushing them or getting pressure from outside influences or what but I hope she gets her voice back because her talent is amazing and it hasn’t been shown in the best light with her last few releases.
2.5/5 stars

I mean, it was OK. Started out good; I liked the banter btwn Paxton and Brooke. But the story is disjointed. They don’t get together in an organic way. Insta-love….confusing story lines. Not my type of writing style. 3*conflicted*stars!!!!
This started out so good. I thought it was gonna be a 5 star read, and then it jumped ship and went off into insta love land with a bunch of nonsense that was never throughly explained...and I'm not saying it ends on a cliffhanger but it definitely feels unfinished and leaves a LOT of questions unanswered
What to Expect: - Billionaire Romance - Boss/Nanny Romance - Workplace Romance - Single Dad - Secrets & Lies - High-Profile MMC - Scandals & Betrayal - Age Gap - Found Family
Characters: Brooke & Paxton Narrators: Chloe Ryan & James Amherst
Paxton and Brooke meet when she goes to his daughter, Brooke's, birthday party to play Rapunzel. She has taken a side gig as a princess to earn some extra cash. Throughout this book we find out what a horrible childhood she had. She declares no one will ever control her again and I got that. Paxton, however, was a bit much. He goes overboard a lot and it was a lot for someone who was a 45-year-old man. All of the adults in this book left a lot to be desired. It was not even close to my favorite book by this author. Felt like I was still left with a lot of questions and not much resolution to their story.
This is my first book by this author. I read the blurb and it sounded like something right up my alley. It took me a little bit to really get into and connect with the characters, but once I was, I was hooked!
Tropes: ♥ Billionaire Romance ♥ Single Dad ♥ A Full-On Villain ♥ Workplace Romance ♥ Boss/Nanny Romance ♥ Secrets & Lies ♥ Betrayals ♥ Scandals ♥ Found Family ♥ Age Gap ♥ High-Profile MMC.
I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this and struggling for the first chapters to connect with the characters kind of had me wanting to DNF… HOWEVER, I DIDN’T and I am so glad I didn’t. Once the story started to flow and I got to know the characters more, I honestly couldn’t get enough and it only took me a day to devour the entire audiobook!
Brooke hasn’t had the best life, she struggles a lot with her past after being traumatised and terrorised by her stepmother and father as a child…. But that doesn’t stop her from being a sweet, kind and beautiful woman. A woman who works hard for what she has and a woman who is working hard for a good life. She currently works two jobs to stay ahead and one of those jobs is a little girl's birthday party. While at the party, after putting the single dad of the birthday girl in his place, the dad offers Brooke a nanny position.
The moment Paxton laid eyes on Brooke, he knew there was something there and he was taken by her, then add in the way she interacted and connected with his daughter Bella, and it was a no-brainer… He had to have her as a nanny and he was the type of man that when he wants something, he will get it… he doesn’t give up until he does. The thing is, it would seem that he doesn’t just want her as a nanny, it would appear that he felt an attraction and connection with her also.
This was a well-written, wonderful, fast-paced, entertaining, drama-filled, enjoyable billionaire single-dad romance with a few twists that had my jaw hitting the floor. For the most part, it was a heartfelt and sweet romance, but Brooke has a dark and emotional past which puts a dark spin on the story.
All in all, this was an enjoyable listen. I am glad I kept listening and didn’t DNF. I look forward to seeing what else the author has up her sleeve!
Finding Redemption By: Terri Anne Browning Narrated by: James Amherst, Chloe Ryan
Did someone say taboo romance? Yes please! Terri Anne Browning writes a wonderful billionaire single dad with a quirky daughter looking for a nanny story. Let's start with Brooke, hardworking and trying to get ahead, she takes on being the princess at parties. Going to Paxton's to hang with the little girls should be fun until she meets the sad birthday girl. Addressing the problem immediately and taking on Paxton's attitude from the start, she winds up being offered a job as the new nanny. Is that what she wants to do? Paxton makes her a bit crazy, as she does him. But is it attraction? Their connection is immediate, but she can't do anything, it's her boss. I love this story, and the direction it all went in. There are quite a few surprises that pop up as well as some health issues, and it all plays out perfectly. I enjoyed my first Browning romance and look forward to Soriah's story!
James Amherst is new to me and the voice he uses for Paton is perfect. A bit arrogant, overprotective and passionate, he is a man with many layers. Brooke is young, and carries some baggage, played out by Chloe Ryan. She engulfs Brooke's struggles and gives her a realistic sound creating an amazing character. These two are perfectly cast and made for an enjoyable listen.
Finding Redemption By: Terri Anne Browning Narrated by: James Amherst, Chloe Ryan
Terri Anne Browning puts her own unique spin on the billionaire single dad/nanny trope and delivers an original and multilayer story that is captivating from start to end. The characters are complex, easy to relate to and connect with. Brooke did not have the easiest of lives, works two jobs to stay ahead and at one of those jobs, a girl’s birthday party, she gets an offer for another job, a nanny position for that girl. This was after she put the girl’s father in his place more than once and then left because she ran into someone there that she hoped to never see again. Paxton was taken with Brooke almost immediately, and after seeing how she connected with his daughter, Bella, he knew he had to have her, and it turns out not just for his daughter’s nanny, because he felt a connect to her as well. I enjoyed how everything played out in this book, it is a well written and plotted, fast-paced story win non-stop drama, some angst, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful romance. Browning spun a mighty fine web connecting the characters and there were some surprising twists and connections. Thank you for this terrific story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 James Amherst and Chloe Ryan are versatile voice artists and they did a fantastic job bringing the characters and story to life. Their character voices and portrayal of them were fitting, and they were believable in every role, including as the two leads, Brooke and Paxton. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to and their performance elevated the story to another level. Thank you for this terrific listen.
This is a standalone romance read / listen but oh, I want more!!! I have questions and seriously want some answers. Browning delivers a wonderfully well written romance with some dark undertones and a great level of sweet and heat. Some humor as well but our main character Paxton is fierce. Fiercely protective and Brooke just as quickly as she's on his radar does he decide she must be his. Plenty of twists and turns with our secondary characters that mostly answer the jumble of questions but yikes, I want more! Bella's character is refreshingly pure, and I loved her from the beginning. Our dual narration by James Amherst and Chloe Ryan is perfectly done for these characters and brings them to life and allows us listeners to enjoy the smooth flow of the storyline all the better. A great listen and I'm definity looking forward to more from Browning!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review. *this review is based on the audio version of this read.
Finding Redemption is a heartfelt, swoon-worthy standalone that blends second chances, single dad charm, and a dash of chaos into a romance that’s equal parts tender and fiery. Terri Anne Browning delivers a story that’s as much about healing as it is about falling in love.
Brooke, a reluctant Disney princess party performer, finds herself unexpectedly entangled with Paxton Foster—a brooding billionaire single dad with a complicated past and a daughter who steals hearts instantly. Their chemistry is undeniable, but it’s the emotional baggage and secrets that give this story its depth. Browning handles the age gap and redemption arc with sensitivity, making you root for both characters as they navigate trust, forgiveness, and unexpected love.
The banter is sharp, the emotional beats hit home, and the little girl at the center of it all adds a layer of sweetness that balances the angst. If you enjoy nanny romances with a protective alpha and a heroine who finds her strength in the storm, this one’s for you.
Finding Redemption was well written but felt unfinished, especially concerning the main characters. Their love story seemed to be an afterthought compared to their involvement in the side characters' lives. They hadn't agreed to fully accept and commit to each other until the 98% mark of the book, which is ridiculous. Other than stolen kisses and him claiming her when they hadn't even spent 30% in each other's company in the entirety of the book, the focus was primarily on all things Bella and Brooke’s PTSD. Brooke and Paxton’s “deep” connection just wasn't believable because of all these things. This book feels like it was only written to set the scene for Luck and Sariah’s book.
What became of St. Andrew’s or Brooke’s stepmother and dad? Was her dad seriously okay with what transpired, or was he appeasing his wife due to his cheating? How old is Brooke? What did Paxton even like about Brooke other than him “just knowing at first sight” that he wanted her?
Finding Redemption by Terri Anne Browning is an age gap single dad romance that I listened to on audio narrated by James Amherst and Chloe Ryan.
This is the first book of Terri's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I enjoyed the fast pace of this book. But I honestly would love to see the book extended or a series created off this world since I feel like there is a lot more story that could be added with Brooke and Sariah's history.
I enjoyed the instant connection between Paxton and Brooke, but I have to say the connection between Brooke and Bella stole the story for me. I loved getting Paxton and Brooke's points of views throughout the book.
James and Chloe did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a single dad romance, age gap romance, billionaire romance, or a nanny romance.
When she was a teenager Brooke’s life was forever changed but it has only made her stronger. As a way to supplement her income she plays a princess at girl’s parties and is convinced by her roommate and best friend to attend one for someone she knows. However, the surprises keep coming as not only does she meet Paxton, but she reunites with someone from her past.
Paxton is a former MMA fighter and successful businessman who is intrigued by the sassy woman who doesn’t back down. It doesn’t take long for her to steal both his daughter Bella’s heart and his own however there are secrets and turmoil which add some complications.
One meeting is all it took for Paxton to realize he wanted Brooke in his life, and I enjoyed the relationship that Brooke had with Bella as she not only understands her but protects her as well. Through the performance by the narrators, you could experience the wide range of feelings that the characters were having. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions
I really liked this—it drew me in right away with a female lead who had to rise above a very hard and dark past, and early in, introduced me to an adorable 6 year-old character who I felt was very well done.
It packs lots of drama and alludes to several dark pasts that I’d absolutely love a closer look at, but didn’t need in order to easily follow this and of course, to predict every single little lie, secret and twist.
Packs:
Workplace romance. Boss / nanny relationship. A full-on villain. Billionaire romance. Single dad. Secrets. Scandals. Petty, superficial other women and moms. High-profile male lead. Found family. Age gap.
Overall: well done. A fun read that left me wanting more of this world and these characters. 4 stars.
🎧Audio: Both narrators were great, overall sound quality was perfect—a flawless production. 5 stars. 🦩
Loved the amazing dual narration from James Amherst and Chloe Ryan, who bring the angst, drama, emotions and heat to your ears.
Brooke life was not easy, she works two jobs to stay ahead and at one of those jobs. One of them is a party princess. Her room mate askes her to a do a little girl’s birthday party, When meeting the father Paxton an ex MM fighter, Brooke puts him in his place. When things start going wrong for Brooke, Paxton offers her a job as his daughter Bella nanny. Paxton was taken with Brooke , and after seeing how she connected with his daughter made it perfect. Paxton is a complex character, as the story unfolds you realise why he acts around Bella. The is fast-paced story with drama, angst, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful romance. Oh the twists at the end.
I debated my rating a lot, honestly, but decided on 3.5 stars. The story drew me in, but at same time I sort of felt like there were gaps. Brooke was fiesty and not intimidated at all by Paxton's growly attitude...it was nice to see them get an HEA but I guess I really wanted to their relationship to develop some and have substance, especially with a child in the mix. The whole time I was anxious to discover the big secrets, and eventually had a good idea of some but one blew me away honestly, but wasn't at all what all the hush hush felt it was hiding...like why did that need to be kept from Brooke? I realize it sounds like I said a lot of negative comments, but I did enjoy the story and was invested in the HEA coming, just wanted more I suppose. Narrators brought story to life.
It was an ok story but definitely didn't feel like a Terri Anne Browning book. I felt Brooke fell really flat as a character. She was a tough run away who lived in the streets and got in the face of an angry man the first time she met him but wanted a useless /neglectful Nanny to fall in "dog poop" and thought of it as a strangers "no no" instead of even saying privates if she didn't think of the clinical or rude name. It came across as Terri Anne light. Maybe we are just spoilt with such characters as Emmie and Anya. I will probably read the next book but won't be on the countdown desperate for it.
This is a okay story that a bit of mystery to it. It is an age gap, single dad/nanny along with a few others. It seemed there was a bit of “daddy” play going on so not really a fan of that. Paxton is over protective and possessive but otherwise he seemed okay. He goes after and gets what he wants type of guy. Brooke is sweet! What she did for his daughter at the beginning and well all throughout was great. That ending was crazy…I had to really listen hard to figure it all out.
I listened to this on audio. Chloe Ryan and James Amherst are the narrators. They both seem newish to me and did a good job.
Finding Redemption is a single dad, age gap, billionaire, nanny romance. This one is a rollercoaster ride of emotions that is action packed with twists and turns, and secrets revealed. The banter between Brooke and Paxton had me laughing out loud, and Bella was just adorable. It was drama filled and quick paced. However I feel that this story left a lot of holes that weren't filled for me. We didn't get enough back story on any of the characters and I couldn't really connect with these characters for most of the story. It was an Ok read.
James Amherst and Chloe Ryan did a good job portraying these characters and bringing the story to life.
Great Story! Audiobook Review 🎧 I really enjoyed this single dad, age gap, billionaire, nanny romance. Brooke has had a tough past and is working a few jobs and her roommate asks her to do a princess party for a little girl that she knows. This is where she meets Paxton and Bella. Brooke eventually agrees to be Bella’s nanny and Paxton and Bella begin to get closer. There is a lot going on in this story with their pasts and when you think you know what’s going on, the story takes another twist. I thought this was a great book with enjoyable characters. The narrators did a great job with the character’s voices and made the book fun to listen to. #AudiobookObsession #TheFlock
TAB always can draw a reader in. She’s one that builds characters in a universe uniquely her’s and drawers the reader in. Paxton and Brooke’s story is more about Brooke accepting that she deserves love. Bella, the child she falls in love with as an adoptive or foster parent should, steals the storyline as only a TAB secondary character can. Definitely a great story.
Terri Anne Browning you do not disappoint! Paxton and Brooke's story is a rollercoaster you do not want to get off. Gosh I loved this book from the first paragraph to the end. I didn't want to put it down. I absolutely loved the rocker series but got kinda bored through the next generation. However, this is a wonderful beginning to another series. Definitely 10 stars!!!!❤❤❤
Wow, just wow! Brooke and Paxton were in unlikely match. Brooke has been through so much in her life. Terrorized by her step mother and father. There were so many twists and turns it was hard to keep them straight. The shining light in this story was Bella. I literally fell in love with that kid. She was raised with privilege, but had been used by Janelle. Can’t wait to read luck and Soraya’s story.
This book had so much potential and I am so disappointed! There’s not much character building, relationships are rushed and I do love an Insta love but this was lacking foundation! TAB books don’t go onto kindle unlimited and all her books I’ve bought in the past, love the rocker series but the past few books I’ve bought I’ve felt have been underwhelming and I don’t think il be buying her books again! This is super harsh but this book was not worth the money
Paxton and Brooke meet when Brooke takes a job as a disney princess for Paxton's adorable little girl. There's an instant attraction, especially on Paxton's part, and he soon finds himself asking Brooke to be his daughters new nanny and sparks soon start to fly.
It's been a while since I read/listened to anything by Terri Anne Browning, and whilst I did enjoy this story, it did seem to end a little abruptly.
James Amhurst and Chloe Ryan were great at narrating Paxton and Brooke's story. They are both new narrators to me, but I will definitely be listening to them again in the future.
This was a very intense and emotional story. I absolutely adored Bella, she was an absolute sweetheart. The chemistry between Brooke & Paxton was intense, and it was sweet how fast and hard Paxton fell. The frustration between Brooke & her Bestie was an added layer of emotions, and the difficult past with her uncle. There’s a lot of things that need worked through. It was fast paced, but I also feel like the ending was too abrupt & would have liked more of a resolution and HEA.
