Seattle Sullivans #6

All I Ever Need Is You

Rate this book
Seattle architect Adam Sullivan is well known for his brilliant historic building restorations—and for having absolutely no interest in love and marriage. He’s happy for his siblings and cousins who have found true love, but though they’re clearly hellbent on seeing him settled, his family is just going to have to accept that Cupid’s arrow will be skipping this Sullivan. That is, until he meets Kerry Dromoland…and suddenly Adam starts to question everything he once believed to be true about falling in love.

As one of the top wedding planners in Seattle, Kerry has been waiting her whole life to find her own true love. So even though Adam makes her heart race and her body heat up every time they’re together, she knows better than to think he could be “the one.” Still, knowing he’s Seattle’s biggest player doesn’t make it any easier to resist his breathtaking kisses and wicked caresses…or the fact that he makes her smile more than any man ever has.

But when Kerry desperately needs Adam’s help—and he comes through for her without the slightest hesitation—she begins to realize that there just might be more to the man she can’t resist than she’d previously thought. Can the bad boy with no interest in being reformed—and the woman who has no interest in reforming a bad boy—find forever together?

The rating on this one is not so much to say I didn't like it. Adam and Kerry were good together. There just wasn't anything that made them unique or interesting to me. It was a regular dude falling in love with a regular chick in a plot that was pretty regular. They start off with sex, no strings. They end up with a lot more. Love the Sullivans, but none have really sparked for me since Sophie. I've missed a few in between so maybe there were other hits, but for me... Adam was not it.

This love story was all I ever needed in my life.

Adam didn't believe the words love and forever were for him, and then he meets Kerry, whose business is planning weddings and whom different from him, believes in love and forever.

Both start an arrangement of just sex because they're obviously attracted to each other, but then it turns into friends with benefits and then both fall in love but only one of them is ready to admit it and it all resulted in one of the most incredible, delightful, wonderful, adorable, sexiest and best journeys I've read of two people falling in love.

I laughed. I grinned. I squealed. I fangirled like crazy through every page.

Adam is one of the best heroes I've read in a long time. He's so adorable and sweet and sexy and handsome and intelligent and adorable and respectful and sweet and determined I want to have one delivered to my door ASAP. I LOVE HIM.

Kerry was also adorable, kind, willing to help those she loves and scared of falling in love with the wrong guy but also ready to recognize when she's made a mistake. I really liked her.

Adam and Kerry together? PERFECTION. Just like Adam said:

"You and I, we're good alone. But together? Together we're unstoppable."

OVERALL:

Bella Andre became my favorite author as soon as she introduced me to the wonderful family that the Sullivans are. I'm glad that after 14 books I'm still here and I am ready for more Sullivans. Even though I'm going to miss the West bunch.

All I Ever Need is You is a wonderful addition you cannot miss. I loved catching up with the other members. Although I do wish there could've been more interaction (like it happened in Mia's story).

Anyway, just go buy and read it so you can too know how amazing this love story is.

WARNING: This review will probably list all the things I love about Adam Sullivan. So be prepared…

Adam Sullivan is an accomplished Seattle architect. As the last of the Seattle Sullivans to not fall prey to love yet, he is also the most determined to stay single. However when he meets his brother’s wedding planner, Kerry Dromoland Adam throws his plans of bachelorhood out of window and jumps straight into bed with Kerry.

As someone who believes in the idea of forever and true love, Kerry is the last person someone like Adam should get involved with. However it is IMPOSSIBLE not to fall for someone like Adam. I say this all the time with Bella Andre books but I will risk sounding like a broken record because it’s the truth – she writes some of the best Contemporary heroes you will find. There’s something so very dreamy about each of them, but Adam has this bad boy thing going on that makes him utterly irresistible.

First of all, he’s persistent and determined and even though Kerry declines him the first time they meet each other, he’s right there the next morning, charming her with his gifts and the way he listens. Where can I find a man like him? He’s also very considerate as well, never judging when Kerry runs off in the middle of the night to take care of her drunk sister who gets herself into trouble a lot. Furthermore, there’s this one scene that in the scale of the entire book probably doesn’t mean a lot but it was a scene that resonated with me because it was so simple yet so effective in showing how Adam respects Kerry.

In the scene, Kerry is working at a wedding, doing her thing until she bumps into Adam. Neither of them knew that they would be seeing each other but before they can really get into a conversation, Kerry is pulled away by work, answering all the calls for help while Adam awkwardly stands there waiting for her to finish. So absorbed in her work, Kerry forgets Adam is there and she apologizes for being so rude and all Adam says is a simple, “No need to apologize for doing your job.” I don’t know why but when I read those words on my Kindle, I just took a moment to pause and say, wow. What a fabulous guy. It proves that he is comfortable standing by her while she does what she needs to do and also that he respects and understands how important her job is to her. To me that is more romantic than flowers, midnight excursions or even smoking hot sex (which by the way, this book has by the bucketload!). And it once again proves why Bella Andre is an excellent storyteller because she writes those intimate, romantic scenes that show their love.

Bella has announced that the series will continue with the New York Sullivans. I mean, there is literally nothing I can complain about because I feel like I can read this series forever. Andre does such a great job of giving each character their own personality and epic love story, but also manages to maintain the lovely familial aspects of the series that make this series a must-read!

I love this series. Adam Sullivan is yet another swoon-worthy Sullivan cousin. Kerry was a wonderful heroine. The chemistry between these two jumped off my kindle and their story was just wonderful. Equal parts charming and very sexy.

I'm always left all happy and giddy after reading this series. Bring on Drake!

Awesome as expected! This installment of what is truly my favorite series doesn't disappoint at all. This story is fantastic as Adam, the last single Seattle Sullivan, tumbles head first into love. Adored Kerry's character and thought she fit with Adam perfectly. So nice to meet the New York Sullivan's and can't wait for those stories.

I highly recommend this one.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

All I Ever Need is You is my first Bella Andre book, and if her others are anything like this one, then it definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely adored this audiobook – I honestly don’t have a thing to complain about it. The narration was excellent, the story was a joy to listen to, and I loved the main characters. I honestly can’t believe I haven’t experienced The Sullivans series sooner, but now I’m eager to go back and read – listen – to the previous books!

She was the polar opposite of the kind of woman he was normally attracted to.
And yet, only one thought would form in his whiplashed brain: Where the hell had she been all his life?

Adam Sullivan is the last of his siblings to have his story told, and this cynical, eternal bachelor expects to never fall in love. But then he meets Kerry Dromoland, his brother’s wedding planner, and he can’t seem to get this woman off his mind. She’s the one woman he can’t stop thinking about, and the more time they spend together, the more the chemistry burns between them. Adam can’t offer his heart to her, since he doesn’t believe love is for him, but he can offer his body, so the two start a no-strings sexual affair that ends up leading to so much more.

Kerry, being a wedding planner, has always wanted her own perfect wedding with the man of her dreams. She won’t settle for anything less, but the feelings that Adam brings out of her are unlike anything she’s ever felt. Bella Andre did a wonderful job writing the burning chemistry between these two characters – I could feel how much they wanted each other and how they’ve never felt that way with someone else. There’s a spark in Kerry and Adam’s characters that had me connecting with them from the very start, and I couldn’t help but root for them and be invested in their romance.

What I loved best about Adam and Kerry’s relationship was the fact that they became such good friends, the best of friends, even when they were lovers. They grew close enough to be able to lean on one another and support each other, so it was easy to see them as a real couple, because they clicked so well. I also LOVED how Adam made such a 180 in his feelings towards love. Kerry makes him believe in love – there’s just too much sweetness as Adam tries to win Kerry’s heart and make her believe in them as a couple. Adam absolutely stole my heart! He was a wonderful hero I fell so hard for.

“You and I, we’re good alone. But together? Together we’re unstoppable.”

As an audiobook, All I Ever Need is You was absolutely perfect. Eva Kaminsky was spot-on in her narration – her voice is easy to listen to, it flows so well, and I swooned at the way she narrated Adam’s dialogue! She’s now my favorite female narrator and I’m definitely going to go and listen to the other audiobooks in the series just for her narration.

Basically, I loved listening to this audiobook. I adored the sweet, gorgeous romance, and Eva Kaminsky’s narration made it all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

Matchmaking at its best! Bella Andre again brought us a story that made us laugh and cry, cheer and boo. She gave us characters that were fun and intriguing. She gave us another woman who just doesn’t understand that when a Sullivan finds his true love, he doesn’t let go without a fight.

Kerry and Adam were made for each other. Both are strong and self-made with businesses that are thriving. Adam as an Architect watching all of his siblings and cousins falling in love and getting married. Kerry as a Wedding Planner growing the business that her mother started when she was just a child, watching everyone around her falling in love and getting married. But, it’s Rafe and Brooks wedding and they need Adam’s help. One look at the beautiful Kerry and he does not mind in the least that he’ll be working with her.

Now, both Kerry and Adam have different feelings on marriage and love. She is looking for that “true love” that will sweep you off of your feet, with a man that is stable and committed; and he doesn’t do long term and was totally up front with her about that. So, a fling it is. And a hot one at that.

But, if you know Bella Andre as well as I do, you know that that there is no way a Sullivan goes into a “fling” and doesn’t come out on the other side unscathed. Well, at the very least, in love and trying to deny it! So, as the great Adam falls, as the whole family watches his demise, as Brook and Rafe say their vows … Kerry and Adam find their happily ever after.

I am always excited when a new Sullivan book comes out. They are always fun and filled with love. I so enjoy reading about the men that have to finally face the realities of love and the woman that they fall in love with. But, just once I would love to see a man and woman who really do fall in love and are ok with it, not fight it and maybe give them something different to fight for other than the love of each other.

As usual, I loved, loved, loved the Sullivan’s. The writing was spot on. The story was fun. The characters were interesting. We were visited by the whole Sullivan Clan and got a look into the future. Thank you, Bella, for allowing us to continue this journey with this wonderful family!

Love, love, love me some Adam! Little did he understand what was happening with his Sullivan siblings and cousins falling in love and having babies, much less did he expect it to happen to him, and then BAM! it happens thanks to brother, Rafe, and his lovely bride-to-be, Brooke! And it's just perfect that she's a wedding planner capturing the love of Mr. I-don't-do-love. The love story of Kerry and Adam are an excellent close to the Seattle Sullivans. But wait, we've now been introduced to the Sullivan branch of the clan in Maine! And we know the New York branch of the tree is coming, too! Oh Joy!

It's so wonderful to know that we don't have to say goodbye to the Sullivans, as Bella Andre is a master at developing her characters, embellishing his or her love story with all the twists and rewards, as well as weaving the continued growth of couples we've already met into the new relationships we are introduced to in each story! And how exciting it is that each branch of the family live in differing states on different coasts so that we not only get a change in scenery and culture, but enjoy the fulfilment of the Sullivan dynasty of love!

While each book can stand on it's own, I highly recommend starting at the beginning of the series, having a marathon of addictive reading because there is no doubt that Bella will ensnare you in her Sullivan tree having you wanting more and more! For a Family Tree, please go to Bella's website to download!

Enjoy! I sure did! xoxo

wow!!!! Bella Andre has done it again, Adam & Kerry's story is awesome, heart warming, sexy to the HOT. Didn't want to put this book down until it was finished. I think that the Sullivan Series has become my very favorite series ever. Kerry owns a wedding planning business & is helping Adam's brother Rafe & his fiancée Brooke with their wedding. Adam is an acclaimed architect & building restoration expert, they are brought together by some matchmaking but Kerry isn't buying what Adam is selling. Neither is looking for anything out of their new friendship except fun sex but what they get is totally different. She's looking for forever with someone who won't destroy her heart like she thinks playboy & perpetual bachelor Adam will do. Adam isn't looking for anything permanent just fun, he's not the marrying kind. Until after they spend their first night together & neither can get enough of the other, thus tainting the pool of future relationships. Their 1 night/week at a hotel for fun sex on the QT turns into a speeding train that neither want to put the brakes on right away, until Kerry's family history comes to get in her way. Can they find a way around the no relationship deal? Do they want to? Will Adam finally see that there is someone out there for him....his forever person is Kerry?

Let me be up-front, I love the Sullivan series! So I am a bit biased! I love the family dynamics, the humor, the energy and the romance. It is rare, and a pleasure, that after I finish reading, I still think about the characters. Adam… (**deep adoring sigh**) is now at the top of my book boyfriend list!! LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOVE him!!!

For Adam, I loved his pure honesty, humor, understanding, and that he loves to love a strong, independent woman. Kerry is a perfect match for him - strong willed, funny, self-aware and honest. It was a pleasure to read their journey - ups and downs - and to find myself laughing and welling up for them.

Bella Andre - - - you are ruining me for my real life!! BTW, ruin away!!!! : )

This brings us to the end of the Seattle Sullivan's and next we move on to New York.

Adam is the last Seattle Sullivan to be single and he plans to stay that way. Until he walks into a meeting with Rafe and Brooke's wedding planner and gets swept off his feet. He never knew what hit him. Kerry doesn't plan on marrying because she promised her mother she will wait for the right man, but how will she ever know if he's the right man? But it's pretty obvious a player like Adam can't be right. It's fun to watch their relationship grow and turn into good things.

Language was fairly clean. There were sexual situations.

I thought this was a great read. I love how each Sullivan has their own personal traits that make them lovable. Adam is no exception. He is adorable man who doesn't believe in love until he meets Kerry. I thought their chemistry was perfect. They were so cute together. I think Adam and Rafe are my favourites from the Seattle Sullivans. However, my overall favourite Sullivan has to be Sophie Sullivan from the San Francisco Sullivans. Now, I am looking forward to what the New York Sullivans have in store.

I thought this one was good. I thought that Adam and Kerry's relationship developed a lot more than in the last book (even though they were both in denial about the seriousness of their feelings). But, I just loved the overall good vibe of this one and the series in general.

We got introduced to one of the New York Sullivans so I interested in seeing if the vibe of the East Coast Sullivans will live up to the West Coast ones.

Another beautiful love story by Bella Andre! The chemistry between the characters was electric! They were made for each other. There wasn't a whole lot of drama but it was a nice change. Loved everything about this story, especially getting a glimpse into the other family that is in the next series, can't wait for their stories!

Wow! I really loved this story, the sparks fly when Kerry and Adam first meet, and from that point on they practically combust. This is definitely the hottest of the Sullivan Series. It was also great to catch up with the whole Sullivan family, and be introduced to some new ones too. I will definitely be checking out Drake's story when it's released later this year.

:) so lovely!
Adam is the last one of his brothers still single.... and with no intentions of changing that...
Kerry is looking for true e faithful love....

What starts as friends with benefits.... change to a lot of more than what they ask for.

I trully enjoy this lovely story... all the interactions with the other Sullivans are so funny and so much entertaining. :)

The female lead is a wedding planner - by choice because she believe in romance, love and forever. She is not into one night stands and wants the white pickett fence, children and sunsetts. So she has absolutely no interest in a player who has commitment fobia and now tries to woo her in bed. After the male lead has send her several presents she arrives at his firm to tell him: "I'm still not interested".

She is a strong, indepentent lady with firm ideal but all the male lead has to do to convince her is to ask her once again. What ????
She came there determined to say no, but suddenly she crumbles like a sand castle. I mean - he does not have to work for it - all he has to do is ask: " are you sure?" Talk about a woman with backbone - she really stood her ground!
Suddenly she is like: " you are right - a no string affaire is a super idea - I'm totally capable of a purely physical relationsship with no strings attached." Say what??

The ploy for the two to start an affaire just comes of as too contrived and it happens to fast.
It annoys me to no end when the writer makes the female lead do an one-eighty, without any believable reason, where she convinces her self that all her principles and her whole outlook on life can be dispenced with because it would'nt be so bad to have a little sex. It would'nt go against all her plans and hopes to suddenly hop into bed with the first guy who actively pursue her.
(I'm not talking about morals here because women should have as much sex as they like with whoever and with as many as they like. )

But it makes out the female lead as a woman who does not know her own mind and can be easyally persuaded to think otherwise. For lets face it - the male lead is hot - but that gets old real fast if he has an emotionell abillity equal to a teenage boy.

If you are really looking for love and the forever kind of guy - and that's what the female lead - and most of us women are looking for- then a fling is a deadend. Because most women cant separate sex and feelings and why should we have to? It only leads to heartbreak if the man is emotionally unavailble.
You give your self intimately and bare your self so its easy to get attached.

I would have liked to se the female lead have some more backbone. So its a 2 stars from me.

Kobo + Contemporary Romance Series Challenge 2025. Tropes: Family/Friends, Friends with Benefits,
MC's h. Kerry Dromoland, wedding planner for Rafe & Brooke, mother Adelaine Dromoland former owner of wedding planner business, sister Colleen, lost her boyfriend and has been in the dumps.

Comment: Another almost "love at first sight" romance. Adam is the last of his family to find his one true love when he least expected it. He and Kerry were set up by Rafe and Brooke as they thought they could be a match. They started out agreeing to have fun meeting up at hotels once a week. Gradually they realised they liked each other as friends with benefits. Adam and Kerry fell in love with the same old house. She bought it and he is going to restore it. Adam talks to his dad about his relationship with Kerry and his dad gives him the thumbs up to tell Kerry he loves her. Adam goes and talks to Kerry's mother who has advised Kerry to be cautious with "Players" and recently stopped sleeping with Adam because of her mom's warning. He tells her he loves Kerry and will be there for her always loving and supporting her. Kerry's mom has a heart to heart with her daughter and Kerry is feeling relieved and encouraged to follow her heart. At Rafe and Brooke's wedding at the families lakeside cabin, Kerry confesses to everyone including Adam that she is in love with him. Later she proposes to Adam. At the wedding all the cousins from San Fransisco, Seattle, New York and Maine were in attendance. The next group of stories with be the New York Sullivans.

What's not to love?

Of course I've loved all of the Sullivans so far. They are the most loving family of any series I've ever read and Bella Andre really knows how to spell out that love, emotionally and physically, until you want to be a member of the family!

In All I Ever Need IS You, Adam, architect and builder, and elite wedding planner, Kerry, meet when planning his brother Rafe's wedding. Adam is the resident playboy and last of the siblings to be in a real relationship, although he's grown up surrounded by family love. On the other hand, Kerry is surrounded by love from all the couples whose dreams she makes come true, but she cannot believe that permanence would ever happen for her since her father left her mother when she and her sister were young kids, and never looked back.

What starts out as a great friends with benefits arrangement quickly turns into so much more and Adam proved time and again that he would always be there for Kerry. I loved both characters. Their sizzling hot chemistry went from combustible to simmering and back again. Each page seemed to spark as their love story continued. Bella must have burned up her computer because this book was hot!!!

Adam Sullivan isn’t like his siblings. Or his cousins (which are mentioned often enough for us to realize there are previous books in this series and that there will be more in the series). But he isn’t going to fall in love; he’s not even interested in the state. So that’s why he’s so arrested by the heroine in the first ten pages of the book.
Kelly Dromoland is a wedding planner who definitely believes in love. She knows that all of the Sullivans are handsome but, when looking at pictures, she’s always been drawn to Adam the most. So when he walks in as the substitute for his brother Rafe and Rafe’s fiancé, she is immediately attracted even more. But she knows that he’s a player so she rejects his advances. So he chases her by sending her sweets that she can’t resist. So she says she’ll be in a physical relationship with him even though she really wants love; she’s willing to give up on her dream for a chance at just getting to sleep with him.
I didn’t really like either the heroine or the hero. Adam was a jerk who just kept overriding all of Kelly’s feelings and then getting upset because she was acting the way he told her he wanted her to act. And Kelly was set up as this amazing business person but she can’t stand up to either Adam or her mother.
