Be careful what you wish for…
Maxwell Craig was Lily’s one secret obsession.
He was well beyond her reach, a man of style and means. He was also the best friend of her boss and Lily knew she was foolish, longing each night for Maxwell’s touch, his kiss. But then Lily was just a simple girl with no love life to speak of, so who could blame her for wishing?

And yet when fate brings Maxwell into her path in the most unexpected of circumstances, Lily begins to wonder if it was best to never get what you most desire…

This series is a contemporary romance featuring a billionaire, alpha male bachelor, with searing depictions of submissive themes and romantic activity.

"There was a naughty girl
And a naughty girl was she,
For nothing would she do
But scribble poetry"

Katelyn Skye began her creative career very young, writing little romantic poems that she was too afraid to show to anybody. After graduating from high school and getting admitted into college, her poems slowly developed into longer verses and eventually into little stories that she finally allowed others to read.

They eventually matured, as she did, to romances filled with the wildest fancies of her imagination. As her own sex life flourished, so did the lives of her characters and her stories became edgier, more alive than ever before.

Katelyn Skye endeavors to give her readers the most modern and contemporary romance tales for women. She writes strong, independent female characters who either learn to, or are not afraid to experience all that life has to give.

She hopes you enjoy reading her work as much as she has always enjoyed writing it.

Enjoy,

Katelyn Skye

3.5 stars. This was very interesting. I really enjoyed this story. However, the story was somewhat lacking due to inconsistencies. First off, the author kept changing Maxwell's image. He went from blonde to dark hair back to blonde. The author also didn't seem to know the difference between a step-brother and half-brother. I also felt like Maxwell's last transition from blackmailer to good guy seemed kind of fake. It just wasn't believable for me. Overall, this was a nice short story because it did in the end keep me really entertained.

First Impressions

She was shy but smart she worked as a paralegal. Upon first meeting her boss's best friend she was infatuated with him. He was beautiful and rich. A true playbook. He always flirted with her but was told by his friend not to touch. A chance encounter, a misconception and all bets are off. Out having a good time with her best friend she's mistaken for an escort. Not being believed it was a misunderstanding she cornered into a situation where it's either one nite or tell the Boss she's a callback.

I liked this story. Even though it's short, you get hooked fast. By the time the story ends, you are wanting more. Cliff hanger. Have to buy the rest.
Lily has worked hard to get a great spot in a firm. Her boss's best friend (max) is hot and she dreams about him. Max has liked lily for a while but knows she is off limits, until he see her on a date with his client and thinks she is a call girl in the evening. He wants her, but finds out her secret an now he is lost....
