#1 New York Times bestselling author Adalyn Grace delivers a sensational conclusion to the deathly and decadent Belladonna trilogy, with dramatic twists and a seductive new romance that will set readers' hearts ablaze.

Blythe Hawthorne has never let anyone tell her what to do—not society, not her overprotective father, and certainly not the man she’s bound herself to, no matter how rude and insufferable he is. In fact, she’s determined to be a thorn in his side for the rest of her days, even as he ensures that her life in his palace is anything but a fairytale. But as Blythe discovers a new side of herself linked to his past, she’ll have to decide if she’s willing to let an unexpected spark ignite…and to discover the truth about who she really is.

I was absolutely in love with this book until that ending. It just killed it for me. Am sorry, as much as I love books that make me cry, I just cannot love this one. Also, I should point out this is a complete "me issue" and not everyone will agree, which is fine.

Anyone who has been following my updates for this book and the series knows how much I adore Fate. He made me love Foxglove and about 85% of Wisteria, after that his character arc just falls flat and I hate it. I was thinking this is the best book in the series so far and maybe it is but not after the way it ended.

The book starts off amazingly. The banter, chemistry, tension between Blythe and Fate is just so intense and beautifully written. I loved their moments together and how they were taking time to get to know each other despite hating each other. The romance is so angsty but the problem is- it dragged with the build up too much and I feel like the two didn't get enough time at all to love each other.

I have always liked Blythe, she is fierce and speaks her mind. She doesn't back down. Her persona as Life is portrayed a bit weak tho, I wanted more power from her. She has been protected and safeguarded by others in all books, I wanted her to fight back. Tho this is something I wouldn't complain too much about as it gave Fate the chance to be the knight in shining armor. I love Fate so much. He is the perfect book husband material. He's morally grey, doesn't hold back from speaking his mind either or shy away from using his powers. He loves to love. The man is so loyal, who wouldn't love a guy like that?!

The problem with having a trashy ending is that, all it does is make you see the wrong in the book and am seriously experiencing that. I loved the beginning but the last 15% were NOT GOOD for me. The ending was rushed, character arcs destroyed, my man's character arc ruined and the romance's build up gone to waste. That same ending would have been MUCH more meaningful and impactful had the author let the two spend time together!!!! I said what I said and am sorry for this ranty review.

I AM DONE 😤😤😤😤

the true definition of a love worth fighting for. a love worth searching centuries for. a love worth sacrificing everything for!!

the moment Aris showed up at the end of Belladonna, i knew i’d do anything this man asked me to. i was so in love with him in Foxglove that i didn’t care who’s life he destroyed. ladies and gentlemen YEARNING IS BACK! if you’re telling me my man crawled to the ends of the earth, century after century to find me aka his one true one. baby dinner will always be on the table. this man waited, search, and bent the world for HER! #NEEDTHAT

even with all their shared banter and arguments. Aris looked and cared for Blythe and if she was something to be cherished. Blythe wanted to see the world, it was at Aris’ fingertips. Blythe is not feeling well, Aris is hunting down the cure. the acts of service. the way caring for her is second nature to him. i stood up and did a back handspring and applauded for Blythe having Aris wrapped around her finger.

that epilogue!!! excuse me while i exit for some personal space 😭 it KILLED ME and resurrected me and stabbed me in throat 27 times. this is a love worth waiting for on both ends. THEIR LOVE is what i WANT!!! lord i’ve seen what you’ve done for others…

We have covers!! And our first set of updates!

1. There will not be any ARCs for Wisteria, either digital or physical. My team and I really want to keep everything a surprise, and have everyone read it simultaneously once it's released :) No one outside of my team and a a very small handful of people will be reading it before it's out!

2. Wisteria *will* have beautifully designed cases, similar to the rest of the series. They may be my favorite yet!

3. Signed and Personalized copies will once again be available for pre order through Mysterious Galaxy bookstore. You can order here! Orders from Mysterious Galaxy will come with limited edition art prints and enamel pins (first come first served). Please include how you'd like your book personalized in the order notes!

4. Barnes & Noble has a *limited* special edition, featuring a unique cover with white flowers, unique end papers, and bonus content in the book itself. It can be pre ordered here!

5. You all are the best <3 I'm very very excited to share this book with you!

this was a 5 star read all the way up until the ending. ughhhh. why did this have to end the way that it did?!?

if there was going to be a 4th book, i could definitely over look it. but theres not. this is the final book in the trilogy, which makes me feel so deflated by how rushed and incomplete everything feels towards the end. because this story is sooo good. it even had the potential to surpass the first book in terms of how much i enjoyed it.

because this story is a masterclass in how the “enemies to lovers” trope should be done. the relationship between fate and blythe is beyond perfect and had me super giddy the entire time. i was eating up everything they were giving me and i couldnt wait to go back for seconds. i seriously couldnt get enough of them.

its just the massive holes left behind at the end that are killing me. i honestly dont know how the series can be finished when there is still so much left unresolved, unacknowledged, and undeveloped.

my heart says this is worth full stars, while my brain is telling me its could have been better.
looks like the heart wins this battle and i round up.

i sat on my rating for dayssss 😭

i ADORED this first 85% of this book. then chaos ensued for the last 15% and i… didn’t love it. (iykyk)

additionally, characters made some really uncharacteristic decisions at the end and it was quite confusing and off putting? (sk’s review sums this up pretty well. seems like we were on the same page. literally and figuratively.)

however… this is still a 4 star book, for now, and that means i will always recommend it. i refuse to let the ending entirely destroy the amazing time i had during this trilogy. 🙂‍↔️

this trilogy is the perfect addiction to your fall tbr. the gothic vibes & the romances are so well done.

who knew death & fate could be so hot? 🤭 all of these characters have my heart.

i already want to re-read immediately.

3.75 ⭐️ I think Adalyn’s writing and world is so magical but nothing can compete with the first book for me.

Thank goodness for the epilogue because if we didn’t get that I fear I would have caused a riot! Really wish we got more of both Fate & Blythe!!!!!

4.2⭐️ my favorite animal is a mmc taking care of his "enemy" fmc when she's sick FRRR 😭😭🤭

there was much action going on till halfway into the book. the atmosphere in the first half??? really magical and had me happy to back reading about death, fate, life and Blythe. I didn't see the plot twists coming and I was shattered just before it all ended. it's safe to say this was so much different from the first two books in a good way! 💙

how did I forget that I pre-ordered this beauty?? 🥺💙

✨ “one single thread of gold tied me to you.”
💌 “oh my, we really were timeless.”

this was such an imaginative and wondrous story. i absolutely loved the enemies to lovers romance, and all of fate’s magical elements.

What to Expect:
➼ Forced Marriage
➼ Enemies-to-Lovers
➼ Slow Burn
➼ Forced Proximity
➼ Witty Banter
➼ Embodiment of Chaos
➼ Concealed Identity
➼ Emotional Read
➼ Series Conclusion
➼ Third Person POV

This was easily my favorite book in the series. It had a bit of a Beauty & The Beast vibe which is always welcome and I just enjoyed their dynamic as a couple and the included tropes much more. They genuinely could not stand each other at the start, but the magic kept them together which was the perfect set up for the enemies-to-lovers/forced proximity tropes. I loved how devoted he was to his former wife which made his behavior towards her at the beginning feel slightly endearing and understandable rather than him just coming off as an ass.

I saw the twist coming in book two, but the author did an excellent job unveiling it in this installment. I can see why some people didn’t like the ending, but I think it was important that it was written this way to maintain the “balance” that so much of this series has revolved around. It was definitely a sad ending, but not devastatingly so.

I’ve thought a lot about Belladonna since finishing this, and I think there were two major issues that prevented me from truly enjoying it. The first was that it really never sat right with me that she was continually ingesting poison and self harming in order to see him. I didn’t like the message this sent about love and it made them seem ill matched as a couple. The second was that Death was a total bore to put it bluntly. Their interactions all had a very rushed and solemn quality to them. I felt like they never got to have any fun together or spend enough consistent time together to truly feel like a couple. As book boyfriends go, Fate was the clear winner for me but to each their own.

If you’re like me and didn’t LOVE the first two books, I think you will really enjoy this one! Don’t give up on the series just yet!

✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼

People are gaga for this series, but it’s been a solid 3 star series for me. Expecting more of the same from this one. Based on the premise I am surprised I don’t like it more, but the stories are just kind of slow and a little too gothic for my taste.

I did see a few ominous reviews that made me nervous about the ending though… 😶

*insert ross gif* “i’m fine, i’m totally fine”

To be completely honest, this book is MY FAVORITE out of the series 🪻😭 Does it have to do with the hate to love + arranged marriage trope? Probably. But as soon as I met Fate in Foxglove, I was already smitten, and the flirtatious banter he was giving Blythe was EVERYTHING. ✨

“𝑩𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒉, 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒔, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚.”

𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚: This story picks up after some major events in Foxglove. The main characters of Belladonna and Foxglove take a bit of a back seat, allowing this book to focus on other characters and trust me when I say YOU WILL WANT TO READ THIS ONE. 😍

This book is the last of the series of Belladonna and even though the characters change you do see the conclusion of the series as a whole. The story pulls at your heartstrings in the most beautiful way, and yes, you’ll end up with a stuffy nose from crying the last 10 minutes of the book, but it’s TOTALLY WORTH IT. 🥹 Some may argue that the ending was not the best, but to be honest if you see beyond the wait.. you can truly see how everything is connected by a single thread.

Not gonna lie... this book made me wanna go hug my hubby in a post-reading “pls hold me” type of way. 😭

RATING BREAKDOWN
Characters: 4⭐️
Setting: 5⭐️
Plot: 3⭐️
Themes: 3⭐️
Emotional Impact: 3⭐️
Personal Enjoyment: 5⭐️
Total Rounded Average: 4⭐️

What a beautiful conclusion to this series. I have loved the Belladonna trilogy, but this was by far my favorite installment. Blythe and Aris are such iconic fairytale romance characters, and their story is aching and healing in the best ways.

This is the most magical setting. I love the gothic setting in both Belladonna and Foxglove, but this setting is more fantastical and whimsical. It has that gothic and dilapidated feel some of the time, but the rest of it definitely leans fairytale. I loved the winter vibes and the way the magic wove throughout the setting and plot.

The characters and their relationship were more the center of this plot which made it the most romantic of the books, but the mystery at the heart of the trilogy was tied up nicely and the villain came in seamlessly which can be hard to do this late in a series.

Overall, I find this to be imaginative and emotional escapism, that's super satisfying and dreamy. If I'm going to read something for young adults that's a bit more simplistic I want these immaculate vibes. Highly recommend!

Whether she realized it or not, he was putty between her palms. He would spend every minute plucking the stars from the sky to deliver a bouquet of constellations if that's what it took to please her.

5 fated stars

This installation of the Belladonna series is the best yet. I enjoyed the first book, had some issues with the second, and this one just crept up from the shadows and demanded my attention and devotion.

The dynamic between Aris and Blythe was 🤌
Aris so clearly loathed her for what he thought she'd taken from him, but it turned into one of the best aspects of their relationship. Even when they started to simply become friendly, they were still digging at each other constantly and I LOVED it. They are both really strong characters and they worked so well together.

I had my reservations about this book because it was the setup for this book that I felt took away from Signa and Death's story in Foxglove, so while I was excited for another installment I only had average expectations for it. So imagine my surprise when Aris almost single handedly made me devour this book.

Also seems like AG could be gearing us up for one more book to tie off one of the main threads of this book? Would be a really great story.

And can I just say, the scene toward the end with Aris and someone who shall not be named for spoiler reasons was awesome. Definitely a way darker side to him than you got to see in the rest of the book and I ate up that side of him 💀

Highly recommend this series to all who haven't tried them out yet and would absolutely recommend to anyone who read the first two and were feeling iffy about the third like I was 🩵

ahhh blythe and aris🤩🤩

Fate is quite similar to Aaron Warner (he calls her love and has been going crazy looking for a girl; also, he’s blonde), so if you like him, you might like fate.

One thing I loved about this series was the atmosphericness(is that a word?)
it really feels like u are in the place and all ur senses are being used(so perfect read for autumn and winter)

the writing also improved in this one(not that it was bad in the first place)

if I had written it I would have changed sm of the plot like the fate and blythe discovering she was life bit(like them discovering it at the same time or sm-i didn't get the shock reaction that I was expecting). The thing about this book was that it wasn't super amazing or really bad it was js good ig.

Overall I really enjoyed this series for the beautiful writing and atmosphere also am quite sad that it has come to a finish...
with that said I prob enjoyed the second and first book more(and also like signa better than blythe)

Questions I am left with
what happened with the chaos plot line as well as signa finding out about her mother?(possible spin-of?)
how is the father alive at the end?
is signa immortal as well as blythe?
wat is signa?
are blythe and mila the same? or like completely different personalities if so then is fate falling in love with them like fated or sm?

THAT ENDING
*Spoilers*
ahhhh I just didn't like it I'm sorry but not the 20 year thinggg also how old is that dad at the end?? and the fox never saw aris again😭😭

I also didn't like the whole Percy plot like cant the guy just rest in peace aris could have js killed him or sm?? to think he is js pointellysly roaming around...

Pre-Read
i neeeed itt also im guessing this is about fate and Blythe so hopefully an enemies to lovers also looking for some more of sigma signa x death and possibly a new mystery???

Not too longg noww i have spent most of this year waiting for thiss💕

i accidently clicked finished😭😭

5⭐️

I have been sitting here for a good 10 minutes trying to think of what to say through the tears pouring from my eyes. What a brilliant, heartbreaking end to this series. Brb while I spend the next 7-10 business days trying to wrap my head around what just happened here. 😭

After reading the first 2 books, I already knew that I loved or I was going to love Blythe even more. Her character immediately drew me in and I was SO excited to see that we have a whole book on her. And let me just say...it delivered and more. This series just kept getting better and better each book, and I can confidently say that this was my favorite book in the trilogy. Blythe was such a beautiful, well thought out and deep character that you can't help but just be drawn to. I liked that this book was enemies-to-lovers and it was done so well. There was so much tension and angst between Aris and Blythe and it was done RIGHT!

The plot itself was mind-blowing! There were so many twists and turns and there was so much action but it never got confusing. It was written in a way that everything was easy to understand and kept you on the edge of your seat wanting more. This book could have been another 100 pages and I still would have been asking for more. One thing about this series is that I truly do love the writing. It's different from what I usually read, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it to the fullest.

Overall, this was an incredible end to such an amazing series. I wish there were more books to read, but alas...I will just sit here and weep over my favorite characters. When I tell y'all that that couldn't stop crying during the last 20 pages...the tears would just not stop. I could not recommend this series enough. The start of it (Belladonna) was okay, but like I said, the books just get better and better. If you were like me and the first book wasn't your favorite, stick it out!!! You won't be disappointed. 💙

"Hello, love. I hoped you wouldn't make it."

“Speak one more word to my wife,” Aris growled, “and I will tear your tongue from your throat.”

brooooo

So, I read this book in the span of 4 months 😅 it's not even because the book's bad, and I'm disappointed in myself because I was so hyped for this book to come out because I do really love this series, but it was literally just me and my lack of interest in reading in general.

Considering this, I may not remember some important details since I read most of the beginning all the way back in September buuuut I'll try to remember for you guys 😝

The Plot

Look, I may not remember minute details, but I'm pretty good at remembering plot lines and random stuff, but sometimes the plot in this was kind of confusing. There was just so many details into the whole entire system of the magic, if you can really call it that.

But then also, the plot twist seemed very, very obvious, and I guessed it from the beginning, whiiiich seems to be a common theme with these books, but I don't even know if they're supposed to be plot twists because of how obvious this one seemed 😭

The plot just seemed a bit messy at times, and while I did find it interesting, it just got complicated at times.

But I've always loved the setting and just overall mood and tone to this series, and that will never change.

ALSO THAT ENDING? I WAS ACTUALLY IN SHOCK BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WAY. It was definitely insane, but it was also so confusing, because it was so fast and it just seemed like a solution that could've already happened? Some things just seemed to happen so easily, like it was convenient to the plot. I don't even know.

“Fate was her summer sun—too intense for most to bear, while she tipped toward him like a flower, craving his touch.”

Characters

I'll admit, I'm a hater of change, so I was kinda annoyed when I found out this book would be following Blythe because I was attached to Signa and Death, but I do really like Blythe. Not as much as Signa, but I do like her. She's definitely a lot snarkier, a lot more opinionated, and sometimes she annoyed me, but honestly, that's what I loved about her. She didn't take shit from anyone and always stood up for herself, which was definitely a delight to read.

Now Fate. I love him, and have loved him since the last book. He kinda reminds me of Jacks, I don't know why. The things he says, the loyalty, the 'touch her and die' thing, all of it is impeccable, those are just my favorite kind of book guys. And the way he pretends not to care but he totally doesssss, does it for me every time 🤭

But as I said, Signa and Death just have something to them, and this always seems to happen to me, but I feel like that'd be an unpopular opinion because people always love characters like Fate, but just like.... I love Death 😭

“Not everyone gets to grow old. Not everyone gets to love or be loved in return. Sometimes the world is cruel.”

Romance

I could tell this romance was gonna be good at the end of Foxglove, and yes it was. They had such good banter in the beginning, and then I was getting a bit worried because it seemed like it was teetering a bit too closely to lovers way too soon, but I should've trusted the progress. I am veeery specific with my enemies to lovers.

The tension in the later chapters was chef's kiss, amazing. And then the scenes when they give in, those were so good.

I'd give examples of specific scenes, but I'm stupid and didn't write this right after I read it 😁

“Take the dress off and I'll fix it for you.”

omg

anywayyyys, I definitely didn't enjoy this book as Belladonna, because that book is just so good, but this still was entertaining, despite taking 4 months to read. I need to start writing reviews right after I read them because then this happens.

4 stars

“I detest you and your entire lineage,” he spat. Blythe patted his arm. “That’s the spirit! Be sure to put all that fire into your gameplay.”

UGH BANTER

<><><><><>
guess who completed her goodreads goal of one book and finished this book that she's been reading for months 🥳

now considering the fact that i have indeed read this book over the span of like 4 months, it was a bit hard to remember details, leaving me confused, so if i get anything wrong in my future review that i WILL write, it's because of that, probably not of the book

i didn't like this one as much as belladonna for a few reasons, but i'll get into that when i DO write my review

anyways, i'm proud of myself

rtc

<><><><><>
6/9: ok, so i've read the first 3 chapters of this book and i can't wait, i love this series so much 😭

alright, so now that i know that the girl on the cover is blythe, i can firmly say that this is easily my least favorite cover in the series. idk why, but the cover art just looks...weird.

anyways, I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T WAIT

Spectacular. I need 14 more stories of Blythe & Aris!

Fate 🤝 Jacks, being morally grey blonde babygirls. 😌🤭

“He would spend every minute plucking the stars from the sky to deliver a bouquet of constellations if that's what it took to please her”

Enemies to lovers and banter? SERVED. IMMACULATE VIBES.

(Slight spoilers for Books 1 and 2 below, so continue at your own risk)

This series forced its way into my heart and has made its own permanent place right there. I loved this. So. Much. Call me biased because of my attachment to Fate and Blythe, but these two reinvented soulmatism and I’ve been obsessed with them ever since their first interactions from Foxglove. Second-couple syndrome hit me like a high speed train in this series, and I knew they very much deserved their own book. Their chemistry and banter was absolutely EVERYTHING in this and I ate up every single crumb. Now, look – I adored Signa and Death and still do. And to me, their story ended decently with Book 2 so I wasn’t bothered with the focus being drawn away from them this time(they obviously make their lovely appearances as we see their relationship from Blythe’s perspective).

I was looking forward to Blythe getting the recognition she deserves because I love her character so much. Adalyn explored that really well and introducing this newly long awaited couple. Her character development was amazing as she grew into understanding her abilities and identity as Life’s reincarnation (and the way Fate eventually realizes that is just…😭). I also loved her relationship with Signa and how supportive they are of each other.

I’m appreciative of the fact that this series wasn’t dragged out into an insufferable love triangle and instead gave Fate his own love interest. That was the one thing I was nervous about during Book 2, but I was so happy with the way it played out. I’ll admit this book had a few predictable flaws here and there but I loved it regardless and it didn’t ruin the reading experience. I still enjoyed the plot and the “new” elements that were introduced, which added more content to the worldbuilding. IMO, the series wrapped up full circle and I’m satisfied with how everything ended. I also noticed that some aspects felt intentionally left open, leaving slight room for additional content through novellas (which I would not mind at all, as long as it’s not unnecessarily dragged out)

ALSO: OH MY GOD I WAS NOT EXPECTING TO SOB DURING THIS BOOK. Why didn’t anyone warn me? MY HEAD STILL HURTS FROM POOLS OF TEARS I SHED. This book both destroyed me and put me back together in the span of a few pages. Aris Dryden, the man that you are🧎🏻

it didn't quite meet my expectations... but it was still heart wrenching

-the ending was super rushed and kinda silly

-there was no character development esp with how the prologue starts, you'd expect some changes

-there are inconsistencies in storytelling between belladonna/foxglove/wisteria on what happened in the past and it's irritating me

ETA: i have a lot of thoughts and feelings about the ending i wont write about because of spoilers

I’m crying. I’m giggling. I’m unwell. Adalyn Grace NEVER ceased to amaze me. Her writing is gorgeous and I was actually really satisfied with the ending (I was terrified I wouldn’t be). This is the kind of book that makes u think abt how crazy it is what a few pieces of paper and a creative mind can make.

🦋 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕤 🦋

𝑩𝒍𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒆: I love Blythe beyond words. Her and Aris are one of my favorite book couples by FAR. She’s so stubborn and I grew to love her so much that I didn’t miss Signa that much.

𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒔: He’s actually so flawless I can’t even. His one liners and the descriptions of him had me giggling and kicking my feet. The way he’s so desperately in love with Blythe is one of the best things i’ve ever seen.

𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒂: I was sad we didn’t see as much of Sigma-er, Signa, I mean- in this one. I love Blythe and I think she’s my favorite out of the two, but I did miss Signa and Death together. I loved the whole series though and was glad to get to know Blythe as well.

🪞𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕡𝕝𝕠𝕥🪞

𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬: I think the concept of having Fate and Death and things being these immortal beings is SUCH a cool idea. There was a scene where Signa stated there was more, like Dream and Time which would be SO cool to see!

𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥: Overall, the plot was so captivating and I loved every second of it. I feel like the events of
the plot where a LITTLE slow, but that’s just me being picky. But overall it was so enjoyable and I was so invested.

𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦: Aris and Death’s magic was so cool and well built. I loved that Aris made tapestries that represented human lives, too, I thought that was such a unique idea. The whole series was so magical.

🤍 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕨𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 🤍

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚: Like I said earlier, Blythe and Aris are one of my favorite book couples. As far as ship names, I’m not even going to attempt it, but they were one of the most genuinely powerful couples.

𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡: Adalyn Grace simply has a way with words. Her storytelling is some of the best I’ve seen and it’s so easy to get absolutely absorbed into this series. Her words are so… pretty.

🫐 𝕀𝕟 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕔𝕝𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟 🫐

I cried. I laughed. I gave this book the five stars it so CLEARLY deserves. This is my second 5 star read in a row and it deserves every fraction of every star. I was so invested in the story and everything through out the whole series. It’s really a masterpiece and I’m sad to say I finished it.

This was my most anticipated book release of the year… this rating is bumming me out.

Obviously - Adalyn Grace’s writing style is still as amazing as it was for Belladonna & Foxglove (which were both 5✨ reads for me and threw me in the worst slumps). But this story wasn’t without its inconsistencies.

The world building was actually quite established from book 1 & 2 so all of this additional world building felt excessive. I felt like I wasn’t in an already established trilogy.

Something happened around the 60% mark that I couldn’t quite wrap my head around. I thought that it had been dismissed from book 2 but apparently I must’ve remembered wrong? I had to reread a few times. It did feel out of place IMO. I did note some small inconsistencies from books 1 & 2 to 3.

Why was Chaos JUST mentioned? After TWO completed books with those characters we’re JUST hearing about her?? (Signa did some pretty *unbalanced universe* things in book 1 & 2! Chaos should’ve been there from the start!). The ending was SO MESSY.

I won’t go on about the ending but know that it obviously didn’t help with the fiasco.
