first and foremost, this is a money grab. i’m so disappointed.
i don’t mind when books are “inspired” by real people and events- but this was not inspiration, this was a money grab and took real actual events between TS/TK and made them almost creepy. i’m sorry but i cannot recommend this book.
no hate to the author, it is most definitely not personal, but trying to monetize by essentially writing fan fiction with actual events that happened? i’m so extremely uncomfy. (if you’ve been following the news of this couple, etc- you’ll know exactly what i mean. direct quotes and all!!!)
it also has been stated this was written in 3 days. it’s easy to see that. there are typos, character names misspelled, and even for a novella, it’s messy.
if i could give this 0 stars, i would. i love shipping TS/TK but this makes it weird.

Writing a smutty novella (to also profit off of it) about a real life couple and not even bothering to make it seem like it’s not them is insanely weird and I stand by that.

this was awful. i expected it to be cringey but this made me straight up uncomfortable. used direct or almost direct quotes from their podcast and interviews so when the spice hit, it was almost painful. took the cute butterfly feeling I’ve had watching taylor and travis together and made me just feel so icky. bestie you better have your lawyers ready if tree paine ever finds this.

You have to be joking. This was a “book” (fan fic) written by a teenager for teenager in the pov of teenagers right?
Proving that she was the tease I loved her being. “I still think maybe that guy is bigger.” I shook my head. “You better stop checking out my friends or I’m going to be so rough with you that you’ll need one of those helmets.”
First of all that’s a threat. That’s not hot at all.
Second of all this should never have been written. This isn’t coincidental this is purely stolen weird teenager fan fiction of Taylor and Travis. Like you honestly think 30 year old adult professionals speak like this? I want my money back from kindle unlimited. I want all those royalties back. Im nauseous. This was so gross. This wasn’t real. This was a fever dream. This has to have been. Why was this man jerking off for 90% of the book? Genuinely authors like this swing so hard to the opposite end of the spectrum on what they believe men sound, think and act like in romance.
Also the football portions? Ain’t no way you have ever seen a game.
Do yourself a favor do not waste your time.

let me not think about how it's a taylor-travis based fiction for a few minutes. the writing was bad, it's apparent it's written in 3 days with no thought or depth behind it.
it's very gross when you consider who it's based on, and even more gross when the author reduces one of the most powerful woman this female character is proclaimed to be based on is written with such shallow and narrow purpose.
people don't care about taylor-travis because of travis. they do because of taylor, and this book failed big time to even be a apt fanfiction.

Let me tell you something about this book… please don’t don it. If you’re a swiftie, if you’re not a swiftie… just don’t do it. It is one thing to get inspiration from a situationship but this was outright disrespectful to both parts. I’m not a swiftie and I felt revolted reading this.
How many books we have that are INSPIRED by Taylor? It is one thing to be INSPIRED and another different thing to just do what the author did with this. The only reason I read it was because I was curious why the author would write a book in 3 days and publish it. Such a money grab. And curiosity killed the cat and now I just can’t unsee this.

This was probably the worst thing I’ve ever read. This is a cheap money grab that took real life people and real life events and turned it creepy.

I would have DNFd on the first page but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. I shouldn’t have. The author describes this as “inspired” by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce but this is literally just ACTUAL real-life situations exploited and sexualized for a book.
This felt highly inappropriate to read so I can’t even imagine why an author would think it’s okay to write a book monetizing REAL PEOPLE AND A RELATIONSHIP THAT'S BARELY BEGUN and then to, in my opinion, over-sexualize them to the degree she did. Uncomfortable, that is all I felt reading this.
This book was less inspired and more so just a grab from publicized situations and conversations. Perhaps it was due to laziness but this just seems like a fanfic gone wrong because most authors would realize that something “inspired by” doesn’t mean copying their life and adding sex.
Also, the legality of this situation… I really hope this author realizes what she’s getting into writing and releasing this.
No wonder this only took three days to write.

Ivy created this novella that put such a fun and spicy (🥵) twist on that news event and it was fantastic!
If you were dreaming up a pop star that’s very sassy (and kind of bratty) and a football star that’s alpha-male but a freaking cinnamon bun, then look no further and pick up this novella.
It was short but didn’t lack in any department. 😉 I found myself cackling out loud (especially at Mav), fanning myself, swooning, and ultimately tearing through the pages and wished that there was more because I didn’t want to be done.
As usual, this is an absolute hell yeah from me if you’re looking for a quick, unique, spicy story. 😘

SOME books—especially when they're open door smut about very much real people—should stay in the drafts.
Even if you remove that part the novella as a whole is shit though. The writing quality is so bad, unimaginative and bland that it makes Divergent look like poetry. There are a lot of errors and not to mention the cover is just...ugly.

Okay maybe I was expecting something different to this but I simply didn’t enjoy it. Yes, I read it because TikTok told me it was inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, but this novella was literally just regurgitating what the tabloids have already told us about their relationship and taking little to no creative license with the “story”.
This honestly just felt like BAD fanfiction. Seriously, I’ve read better fanfics on wattpad or AO3 by people who start the fanfic with “English isn’t my first language”. (Why are the fanfics that start like that always the best tho). I consider myself to be somewhat of a fanfiction aficionado (translation: I was DEEP in the wattpad trenches back in like 2012). However, this novella just felt boring and the major plot point of her being a pop star and him being a footballer didn’t actually enhance the story at all.
Read this if you want copious amounts of smut, otherwise simply don’t waste your time.

nop, tenía expectativas pq obvio, quien no las tiene después de saber de qué va, pero es que es lo mismo que he visto en tiktok, nada es inventado 😩 sus nombres tienen las mismas iniciales, talon y jasper también tienen un podcast. Al principio dice que cualquier parecido con la realidad es sólo ficción JAJAJA donde está lo parecido si es todo 'real'? lo único que le agregó son las escenas spicy que tampoco me gustaron.
Si quieren saber de taylor y travis, mejor vayan a tiktok a ver videos o ver el podcast de travis y jason, que es mucho mejor😖
