I'm going to review each short story as I go along.
"Of Santa's and Seduction" by Margaux Porter: 4.4 stars
Tropes: I have loved you for years, unrequited love, crush is mean/shy around the girl
Omg, I loved this one!! Angelo was so hot, and I thought it was so romantic how he went out with other teachers just to get intel on Rosemary 😂, couldn't look her in the eye, closed up when she talked to him, etc. I will check out more books by Margaux Porter; I added her latest to my to-read list. The only thing I was confused about was why they suddenly went from working in a school to dressing up as Mrs. and Mr. Claus; was this just a Christmastime thing? I also wish the story was longer, but I get this is a short story collection.
"Mile High Club" by Eliza Rose: 3 stars
It was okay, I liked it. It wasn't classy at all, which surprised me based on the author's bio 😂
The characters also didn't talk like they were the most educated. I don't know, maybe it was just an accent thing. Steve's just been dumped by his girlfriend when he meets Jasmine, a woman who was just replaced on a job. He offers her a job with his friend, and then they immediately go have sex in the bathroom of the airport. But it isn't until a month later when they go to Hawaii do they join the mile-high club in the plane's bathrooms.
Short story one was edited a lot better than this one; I hope this one gets some more editing before publication as there were a few typos (commas, not misspellings that I caught) and places where the narrative shifted to present tense.
"Two or Three" by Carrie M. Nunley:
Straight off the bat, the author's link to Inkitt didn't work. I liked the story, but my mom was talking loudly on the phone about me and my business, so I didn't have a good time while reading this story 😂. Unfortunately, that took away my enjoyment of the story, but it would probably be between 3 and 4 stars. As a result, I'm going to leave this one unrated.
This short story had one of my favorite sexual things: a MFM (not that I've done that...yet...but reading romance & erotica has made me curious) scene. Ruthie (lol not such a sexy name, my great aunt is named Ruthy, and she's in her eighties) brings one of her boyfriends to meet the other, who is more possessive. There, they share a MFM scene. Sadly, there was no double penetration...
This was edited better than short story #2, but there were still one or two typos. Hey, they do happen. This was also super short, shorter than the others & shorter than I expected. (This is an ARC, so I'm sure it's not the final copy.) I also thought it was weird that the author called 6 feet an "average height" when that's tall. Maybe she's lived in a place like Scandinavia her whole life?
"Me Plus Three" by Carolina Jax: 2 stars
I just noticed the formatting of the drop caps is weird. I checked the other stories, and they were formatted similarly. I think because this one is "I'll" and the 'll was above I noticed it.
This one didn't work for me. I was very confused. So this guy picked her up from a bar, then they got accosted by a police officer and took her to her house where her husband was, and they all had a little MMFM? Then it turns out that she already knew all three men. They were her husband's brothers. Or was this the first time it happened, and that paragraph was a time jump? Before reading that paragraph, it just seemed ridiculous. Maybe more editing would help.
Anyway, the last few stories have been duds, so I hope I enjoy the next few stories again.
"Sin City Christmas" by B. Ryan: 4 stars
This was hot. It was your typical story in Vegas, but I still enjoyed it. The editing was a lot better in this story; the only thing was that once in a while, the present tense would switch to the past tense.
Violet goes to Vegas because that's what her parents talked about doing for Christmas before they were tragically killed in a car accident; Paul just found out that his girlfriend cheated on him. They meet on the plane, but Paul's friend ruins it for him. Later, when they meet in the same hotel or bar, they know it must be fate and decide to hang out. I liked the ending lines.
"To Be Claimed" by Theresa Lambe: 4 stars
BDSM, genital piercings
This one was super hot between a more established couple unlike most of the other stories. I liked how Jordan was possessive of Chase and vice versa. They gift each other nipples and genital piercings (clit, dick one). Chase asks her to marry him, and Jordan asks that they be exclusive because with them being in the community, it's not a clear thing. That was the main conflict: Jordan wasn't sure how to bring up wanting to be exclusive.
I guess since I'm bringing it up for each one, the editing was good here. Just no comma was needed here: "These pert tits with their hard-ass nipples, are mine." I wished there were scene breaks, or even ***, instead of dashes, but that's ok.
"Red on Valaeria by Syuha Rosly": 1.9 stars
Voyeurism, FF, MF
I originally skipped this one because the tenses switched back and forth. I liked the plot, but the author's writing style didn't work for me. The terminology for some of the sexual terms was also unintentionally hilarious and cringe: holy cavern (vagina), the beak of her pussy, clit being a jewel, and "man hands".
I think the author has a lot of potential and room to improve and grow. I loved the ending; I thought that was so funny.
"Stranded in the Solar System" by Cafe Blush: 3.5 stars
I skipped the previous story and went to this one because the tenses changing in the previous one threw me off. I never seem to immediately recognize when something is written in the third person present tense, but it always sounds off to me. Writing it in 3rd present made sense here because the flashback scenes were written in the third person past tense.
Eko is the alien, and Seb is the human. In a dystopian world, Earth is no longer habitable, so they're trying to build a new home. Unfortunately, their ship gets hit. I thought they were going to have sex until they died!!
Some of the terms used in the sex scenes were a little weird, maybe not weird, but not my taste. (Written to be classy but just makes it odd, like womanhood.)
I LOVED the rocket scene breaks; they were adorable!
"The Office Gift" by Kris: 3 stars
The formatting got messed up a little in the middle with the paragraph indentations. I think it's super cool that Theresa invited her bff to write a short story, and this is her first published piece!
This featured an office romance with an older couple. Theresa's been mean and teased Howard for the whole time they've worked together, whereas Theresa thinks there's been a lot of sexual tension between them this whole time. Theresa gives him a copy of the Kama Sutra as a joke, and that leads them to finally being intimate together... in an office that I hope wasn't see-through lol.
(I went back, and it wasn't... I was just thinking of the office at my latest workplace.)
"Tasting You" by Roxy Leigh: 4 stars
Loved the food play
At first, I was like wtf, why are you hanging out in your office after work ends if you're not working? But then it made sense because of what happened next. Rose and Damon have lusted after each other for a while, but neither were aware of their attraction. Rose is the receptionist, and I believe Damon's a lawyer. Rose thought Damon had a girlfriend. When Rose masturbates on Damon's chaise, it turns out the office isn't quite as empty as she thought...
"Sweet Salvation" by Judith Whimsey: 3 stars
Mafia
I felt like way too much happened for such a short story. I had no idea what Antonio was doing throughout the day to find Nicolina, and I was confused about what was happening in the village that there were screams. I also felt like Antonio had never talked to Nicolina, or if they did, it was all off-page and in the past, so it was a little hard to believe he loved her. He also seemed to cum too soon. I did like the premise of him being into his housemaid but resisting it because he was busy and it could endanger her (which it did).
"Master" by CL: 3 stars
BDSM, 1 man (master) directing 2 women, a little FF, strap-on penetration, hot wax, gag, etc.
This wasn't my taste, but it was interesting how the master was directing these two women, his subs. It seems more like erotica than erotic romance, though Honey did say that she was in love with Vixen.
"Christmas with the Cockpit" by Jennifer Williams: 3.4 stars
MFM
What's funny is that I thought this was MM because I assumed the MC was a man. I guess the preconceived notion that men are more likely to be CEOs affected me here. It was late at night, so I must have missed the "Ms. Sterling" at the beginning. (Though why is she also called Ms. Kane?)
Becca's very attracted to the two pilots she regularly flies with. I was afraid it was just going to be a phone sex scene, which I'm not a big fan of, but there was a MFM scene in the cockpit later on. I thought it was a missed opportunity that there was never double penetration (well, I guess if you count the mouth and vagina, yes) in any of these MFM scenes.
"The Sweet Fruit" by Sania Charles: 3 stars
I was so confused by this one that I had to reread the beginning when I finished. Brianna tucks her son into bed, and the son asks about his father. I thought the father was dead, and the intimate scene was a flashback. But in actuality, it was a sex scene with her new husband, the man she just married who waited for her for 5 years after the death of her first love (her son's father).
LOL, so obviously, this was a very honest review, maybe too honest for an ARC. (So I don't need to say that being gifted an ARC hasn't affected my review.) I think it's hard with anthologies because you'll frequently enjoy more stories than others, and this was my experience here. I really liked a few of them, and the others I liked or thought were just okay. This anthology was pretty mixed for me, so I'm going to give it 3 stars, meaning "I liked it". Please note, a 3-star isn't a bad rating from me.

Great, Spicy, Quick Reads!!
Looking for some spicy reads? This anthology is full of some hot, quick reads. I loved the variety in this anthology and have read stories from many new authors that I hadn’t read before. I broke up the anthology by reading a story here and there in between darker reads and found it a perfect pallet cleanser. Love this collection of smutty novellas!

Sweet Somethings II is a collection of short stories that are filled with lots of spice and will bring you lots of love, fun, and foreplay! It’s a great way to see the different writing styles between authors as well as be introduced to new ones. All of the stories were well written and very interesting. If some were not short stories, I would definitely reread. Also, each story had its own plot and they all flowed and worked really well with each other. Overall, a great read!

A collection of short stories with varying styles of writing. 4 stories stood out above the rest for me, Carolina Jax - Me plus Three; B. Ryan - Sin City Christmas; Jennifer Williams - Christmas in the Cockpit, and Sania Charles - The Sweet Fruit. To me, these were well written short stories and I would continue to read these authors. The spice level was great and the stories were interesting.
Some of the other stories needed some more work and while not bad by any means we're not stories I would reread.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am leaving this review willingly.

Anthologies are such a good way to check out new authors without comitting to a whole book. This anthology gives us 14 spicy little gifts to try. My favorites were #8 Stranded in the Solar System by Café Blush & #10 Tasting You by Roxy Leigh...and #13 Christmas with the Cockpit by Jennifer Williams!

This was very good, it’s nice to see the works of different authors and it’s a good way to find new authors too.
If you’re wanting some short stories to get through the day with spice then this is definitely for you. Different stories and tropes for everyone’s taste and maybe you’ll find another trope you enjoy.

Thank you to Theresa and all of the authors for the opportunity to read this! This collection of stories left me breathless, between the sweet stories of unknown lust to the intense relationships already in progress when the short story began. The quick stories made it easy to read through in smaller chunks and especially nice to read one before moving on to more boring responsibilities!

We get exactly what we are expecting with this compilation of stories.
Fun, short, spicy stories to read through and imagine.
There is a nice variety of stories as well. So it will meet everyone's trope favorites. They did a good job of having all different situations and scenerios.
A few of the stories had several errors that bothered me, but not enough to not read them.
The only story I skipped through and didn't read the full way was the fantasy one. However, aliens or galaxy/space theme is not my thing. I couldn't enjoy that one.
If you want to read sex and spice and more sex and more spice. Here you go. Enjoy.

This was a bunch of different authors. They were all great. My favorite one was Christmas with the cockpit. This was about a woman Becca who was flying on a private jet. Her normal pilot is Davis and his co pilot Micah. There was always an attraction there. David asked for Becca’s number and she gave it to him. Micah somehow got her number as well. I need the full book if there is one. Like I said all the mini books were great and I would read the full books for each one.

This was such a great read!! I love anthologies, they always bring you great stories and authors you have never read before.
There is 14 different stories by different authors. Each bringing you a unique spicy story. That's super quick to read.
My review for to be claimed by Theresa lambe.
This was a super quick and spicy read, and I loved it and loved them, chase and Jordan have great chemistry but aren't on the same page with something's, he wants marriage and she wants something else. Definitely an interesting read with some private parts getting pierced on each of them and loads more. It's definitely one I couldn't put down. I highly recommended reading it and the others aswell.

This was a super quick and spicy read, and I loved it and loved them, chase and Jordan have great chemistry but aren't on the same page with something's, he wants marriage and she wants something else. Definitely an interesting read with some private parts getting pierced on each of them and loads more. It's definitely one I couldn't put down. I highly recommended reading it and the others aswell.

I was sent this anthology as a gift. I was pleasantly surprised at all the different and engaging stories. I loved all of them for different reasons. A couple I really liked and I know I'll re-read them again! One that stood out to me was Me Plus Three. This was role playing at its finest and I loved every page. Office Gift was another one that I loved because, well...kama sutra. :) All the ideas for new positions were so cool and I swear, my husband will thank me. I definitely recommend this book and hope the authors continue to submit more.

This book is a collection of short and spicy books that will leave you wanting more! Each book different with lots of spice. I enjoyed each book wanting more! They all had spice but all different genres, and getting to know the authors before each story started. If you’re looking for something short sweet and spicy this is it! I highly recommend and definitely read any triggers!

The book was well written and had wonderful characters in the book. Once you start to read the book you just didn't want to stop reading it. To learn more about these author's please check out their Newsletters. I definitely would recommend this book to everyone

Absolutely Loved this compilation of short steamy stories . There is really something for everyone in here and of course with the holidays "cumming " up you can have plenty of fun with Sweet Somethings II

This was such a hot, fun, fast read. A great collection of different spicy stories all rolled into one. Really loved Me Plus Three, but all of them were great. Highly recommend to spice up your cold holiday nights.
