As a parent, you will Get ready to transform your family! Start Parenting With Purpose and watch your children become the men and women God created them to be.
This was an excellent book in terms of the mindset one should embrace in their parenting. There aren't many practical application examples, which I personally enjoy. However, simply providing the mindset leaves it very open to adaptation, since every family is different and has its own challenges, so there's still a ton of merit here. I would definitely recommend this book!
This book was really good. I loved the authors' honesty and advice and what they said rang true. Definitely want to follow their teaching because it really is the way God treats us. The reason I dropped this review to four stars is that I feel that the information could have been conveyed a bit more succinctly. Lots of good information, sometimes hard to get through though. Thanks for wonderful advice that you are not just using in your family but are sharing with others so we can hopefully bless ours as well!
Every parenting book is written with struggles and also remembrance of laughters and tears. That's why we just cannot rely on a single parenting book. But this book shouts a massive voice in my heart as I go through each pages. The clarity of struggle is read through every sentences written. Every chapter is discussed with a thorough approach and encouragement for parents to see our part and God's part. I have laughed and cried with this book. And I can be assured that I will revisit this book again.
I happen to really enjoy the tsikas books. Very insightful. Maybe a bit old school in their ways. But they've raised some amazing children and live a blessed life so they're doing something right.
