Jumpin' Joey

Rate this book
JUMPIN' JOEY is a whimsical tale of a young kangaroo trying to "be like somebody else," as the other kangaroos would put it; striving to learn how to jump even though his feet were definitely not suited for the job. Loosely following the "how the leopard got his spots" stories, Jumpin' Joey is chock full of zany characters and the hilarious antics of Joey's faithful sidekick, Leroy Lizard. JUMPIN' JOEY is an unpredictable tale that is sure to be fun for readers young and old.

-So, look.
I wrote this when I was in the 4th grade, and my grandmother published it through one of those vanity press things because she was very proud of it.

It's the work of a ten-year-old and I blush furiously every time I see this on my Goodreads page.

You don't need to read it.

Nobody needs to read it.

It's basically like having your childhood refrigerator art pinned to your profile without your consent.

I admit that this is a bit shorter than my normal reads, and definitely geared towards a younger audience, but Travis’s creativity and storytelling are fantastic as always.
