I really love that we finally got to see why Wes decided to help Liz get with another man when he was so crazily in love with her! Turns out, it was genuinely just because he was so thoroughly desperate to spend any time with her in any way he possibly could and also to make her see he was actually a good guy, and not just the shallow clown Liz thought he was. It was just amazing to see how much Wes craved her company, her good opinion, her attention and her smiles from the very beginning!
Honestly though, is there anyone more obsessed with another person than Wes is with Liz? The way he narrates every little thing she does and simps over it in his inner monologue makes me genuinely squeal in delight. If anyone ever loves me half as much as he loves her, I’ll die a happy woman.

Maybe Liz was here because she needed a ride somewhere, maybe she was here because she wanted to discuss getting to know me better, or maybe she was going to confess that she’d been crushing on me since that day in first grade when she punched me and I told her mom on her.
