This book has all the templates you need to get started on the thought process of writing your novel. The book walks you through plot development, character development, world building, research, goal setting and even querying for an agent. If you’re planning to write a novel, this is a great tool to have!
I really liked the authors, but this isn't really a guided work book. It's a journal with a few prompts, and a hasty 101 on what querying is. Also a calendar??? for some reason???
This workbook is literally a GODSEND!! I work at a bookstore, so I immediately picked it up when I saw it about to get shelved. My apologies to anyone who would have wanted it, but I have been trying to freehand a novel planning journal and it has failed time and time again. It's difficult to make space and adding on is so hectic, the process in general is absolutely hectic! And I end up getting overwhelmed with not being able to have everything in one place. This workbook is totally exactly what I want for planning my novel and beyond. I am telling everyone to get this if they're an aspiring author! It's truly truly so fantastic and such a great resource by two fantastic authors! Wish I could gold standard rate this workbook!
Amazing workbook for a writer! Very clear and easy to follow. Adrienne and Isabel did a wonderful job writing this book and helping other writers. It helps you draft and then revise and even getting your story out into the world. I recommend it!!
Not really a book I've read but this was one of the most helpful ways to get my story juice pumping. And it helped a lot in crafting my upcoming novel.
