As someone who is always searching the Bible for answers to life’s problems, I really like this book. Robert Woeger does an excellent job of compiling key Bible verses to talk about a diversity of topics. Each topic covered in presented in an essay format. Topics covered included traditional Christian topics such as prayer, living by faith and God’s promises. However, this book also covers difficult topics such as prayerlessness, rebellion and vanity. While I have several similar books, none of them are available in eform. The fact that this book is available as an ebook is an extra value because I find myself referring to in no matter where I am (i.e., work , chatting with friends). I also find myself using this book for a variety of different things (i.e., as a devotional, sharing key Christian principle with others, and when I am looking to understand something on a deeper level). I also like the fact, that the author bolds key words in the Bible verses. I find myself been drawn to familiar verses on a deeper level.

It's funny, I'm doing a review of "GOD" ... the book, of course, and not God Himself. I remember talking with Woeger before this new edition was released and I'm certain that the book has only gotten better with this updated version.
GOD, by Woeger, is a great read for a number of reasons. A lot of need to be having the conversation of systematic theology, asking questions like Who is God and how do I live as a result of that? The problem with that is once you start going down that road, the majority of textbooks that are stirring such thoughts are weighty, "academic" books that are filled with footnotes, that cite German scholars, and speak in a jargon that is just difficult to get through. Woeger, on the other hand, is researched but a writer for the people.

Wow
The best way I can describe this book is wow! I am so glad I came across this book and am looking forward to reading it again. This book is inspirational. It covers many topics related to Christianity in a way to that is easy to understand. The book is rooted in relevant scripture and Bible promises. I am especially grateful for the large print and bold font that is easy on the eyes.

This book was very informative and inspiring. For greater details in the scriptures you should read along with the bible.I will now include it in my daily reading for spiritual upliftment. The author really did a good job putting this book together and I look forward to reading more of his work.

Very powerful book with solid biblical principles and promises. Really caused me to reflect on the preciousness of the gift we've been given in Christ, and how my life is meant to look different because of it. Our God is like no other ... may He have my utmost, and get His glory in me.

God. A many different images run crisscross and develop into wild formations in the latitudes and longitudes of the deep entrails of our brain upon hearing this word. We do know ‘Who’ God is. We also know ‘Where’ and ‘When’ to depend upon him. The next biggest question that often haunts our minds is that ‘WHY’ should we worship him.
Are we fearing God? Are we being superstitious? Are we hailing the good lord out of fear? If yes, then we seriously need to reconsider our options. There is a huge lot of difference between ‘Fearing God’ and ‘Loving God’.
Robert Woeger has beautifully tried to bridge this particular gap between being God Loving and God Fearing. This particular book will blow up your mind in introducing you to the true versions of the biblical sermons. Reading ‘God’ can provide you with the much needed insight on the factual and validation aspect of the Bible in today’s ongoing situations and tackling them in a legal and aesthetic manner. As the author himself states, ‘God’ can make you improve your intimacy with the omnipresent almighty and deliver you from all that is evil.
