The previous volume may have Ensured our Place in Hell, but that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to weave more depraved and violent tales while we’re wallowing in the fiery pits!
Inspired by all the one-star reviews, Stephen Cooper (Addicted to Vengeance and Hack) and Otis Bateman (My Vice is Your Unfathomable Agony and Maggot Girl) are back, and this time they have dragged Erica Summers (Vanity Kills and Bad Gods Tower) down with them.
Would you do anything to get rid of a curse? Just how badly do you need to get your rocks off? Would you own a person, if it was legal? Or eat just about anything that should never be on a menu? How about partaking in consensual necrophilia? Or taking a family day trip like no other?
For those in the cheap seats, it’s time for the obligatory TRIGGER WARNING once again. If you have a trigger… it is probably in this book! But because we’re already burning in Hell, it’s not our problem.
Congratulations to this dream team of authors for the nightmares of extreme horror that they bring to life (or otherwise). So many torsos! Count 'em! I had to stop at 5, since there are no higher ratings. Splatterpunks, indulge! Primates do more than throw poo at this zoo.
3,5 ⭐️ I loved most of the book, but sometimes I just wanted to put it away and say “Otis Bateman is one sick fuck”. Generally, i enjoyed this collection of stories quite a lot! TW: mentions of Belle Delphine lol
So...... Da fuck you guys!!! This book and all of the stories were just downright dark, filthy, disgusting and full of deviant characters and acts..... Jesus tap dancing chirst wow its.... like..... alot, great book but screwed right up! Personal shout out to Otis Bateman for the story meat market..... you got me, dude, had me believeing the whole thing, then nahhh.
After finishing the first book, I immediately dove straight into this one! Cooper and Bateman are back, with Erica Summers. This is actually my first reading of her work and I was blown away!
Just like the first, all of these stories are meant to fuck your brain! The stand out story for me was the last one about the apes and monkeys. It was like a splatter version of Planet of the Apes!
Welp. This book is practically unreviewable without mentioning something that'll get me banned on social media. Yes, extreme horror fans, it's that good. And that gory. And that offensive! My place in Hell is ensured.
Freaking fantastic, 3 of my favorite authors, 2 stories each in 1 book. You do the math🤷♀️. Kudos to the authors for pushing boundaries and getting banned in order to please us degenerates.👊
Such an excellent collection of stories from some exceptional authors… these stories are sick, they are vile, and they are absolutely disgusting!!! Well done guys!
I don’t need to write any review as I’m fked after reading this.
Stephens coopers first book - Jesus Christ. That is all. Every possible trigger is in this. R*pe, kids, animals, BABIES!! Amazingly well written and disgusting too exactly what I needed!
Erica summers first book - basically don’t cheat on your wife. That’s the moral. She writes so damn well. I loved the gore and imagery in this one!
Otis first book - how men can own women. Like a toy. Sickening definitely but the son is different from his father. How will that go? How will his father react? Read it it’s one hell of a ride
Stephen coopers second - leads on from his story in the first ensuring your place in hell. Not as good as the first in my opinion BUT it’s still bloody gross and everything you expect from this menace of an author
Erica’s second - how she did this I don’t know but I managed to feel bad for the character. She brings us on a rollercoaster of emotions and I am HERE FOR IT! I loved this one so much as it took me on a ride
Otis second - what a fking shite storm! A family get a trip to the zoo but it ends up as a gorey fked up mess. Amazing and funny at times even though I probably shouldn’t laugh
The stories were so wack I had to skim them parts of one or I would of puked lol so gross. Crazy how people come up w this not my usual genre but some had interesting concepts but those details were alot
Holy fucking shit. These stories were even more insane than the first book. The first and last story pushed my limits so far that I couldn't finish them but hey, that's what splatterpunk is! Definitely understand why amazon didn't have this one available for a bit!
Initially banned from Amazon, one of the authors elected to sell this on his website, so I grabbed the digital version and then noticed that Amazon had the print version up, so I grabbed it too before it disappeared.
This volume was SO much worse than the first! Lovers of this genre who are familiar with these authors will cheer them on, and I can already see curious thrill seekers taking a peek and passing away in horror with their pearls clutched firmly in their hands. So let's get to the contents:
Put a Curse in You by Stephen Cooper explores the depraved things people would do to get rid of a curse. Incredibly graphic and disturbing. 10/10
The Glory Hole by Erica Summers was a stark reminder that you better be careful where you go sticking things. Absolutely monstrous. 10/10
Buyer's Market by Otis Bateman was probably my favorite from the collection. This modern day horror story hearkens back to Ancient Rome where would-be gladiators would have to stand on a platform holding a sign declaring any weaknesses. In this tale set in 2047, The Femicide Law is in effect, and it's the legal ownership of women who needed 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 before they could be fully assimilated into their new home. 10/10
NecroMatch, LLC. by Erica Summers was a horrifying tale into what it means to be a vessel once your soul has exited your body. The buyer has 72 hours to do whatever he wants with his rental, 10/10
A Day at the Zoo by Otis Bateman started off as a satire of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation but quickly headed into territory that Clark could NEVER have dreamed of. 10/10
You've been warned! But on a serious note, please educate yourself on the slippery slope of censorship. Not all books are for all readers, but when corporations start deciding they won't carry certain titles, we're going to be in Fahrenheit 451 territory. Educate yourself on content and trigger warnings before making your purchase.
Part 1 was way better. The stories weren’t very interesting in this book for some reason. Some of them felt like a ton of buildup with not a lot of excitement at the end.
