The author muses about a time when there was nothing until the light began to shine upon a dot. After achieving awareness, there seemed to be no limit as to what that dot might do. It could transform itself into the shape of numbers, shapes, forms, and eventually everything we could imagine.

Most of the illustrations in this book are simple black and white images, which make it a useful teaching tool for young children. Creative way to introduce the concept of transformation and the evolution of the universe.

The Dot That Became Everything is a great teaching tool. It teaches numbers and associating words all while showing how a simple Dot evolves into everything.

My favourite part is the action words to illustrate how the Dot transforms from one number to the next.
